In the school hallways, Sehun still looked the same, but inside he was not. And slowly after weeks, his now indifferent attitude turned away the betrayers from Lord of the Flies, and welcomed the justice of the little Jem and Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird. That is, those same science club and chess club members who pushed him away for so long. And you of course.Sehun felt his heart in your hands. You brought him back to what he was. To where he belonged. To where his niche was in reality. And until eternity, no one can do a bigger job for him. He realized that’s what it felt like whenever you passed him in the halls, your beautiful smile etching into heart, and making him giddy for the rest of the day. The way he could always find you in the library, sneaking you mochas and frappes as the two of you hurriedly finish your homework to be able to read for hours and hours. And for once, Sehun loved his life. From the bottom of his heart. And it would be only you; you’re the only one he knew, that could read his eyes so well. For the day where he had felt the world collapsing again (which in reality was the last time that it had happened till this day), you had passed by him in the halls, quickly pressing a small piece of paper in his hand, and shutting it tight with a small reassuring squeeze, and fleeting smile. He’ll never forget what it said.“You just hold your head high and keep those fists down. No matter what anybody says to you, don’t you let ‘em get your goat. Try fightin’ with your head for a change.”
