24 - Hard decision (1/1)

During the past few weeks, Yoongi visited Taehyung almost every day, trying his best to get to know him. Sometimes Seokjin and Jungkook joined him, and they got fond of Taehyung pretty quickly. Yoongi found it especially endearing how Jungkook and Taehyung got along so well, having similar interests. He’s so glad that Taehyung saw them as his new friends.Since then, Yoongi slept much better than before, and he woke up earlier than he’d used to - Seokjin even teased him with it, but he mostly ignored it, which was also an improvement. He walked Taehyung home more than once too, enjoying each other’s company, Yoongi listening to Taehyung talking about his day at work. The only thing Yoongi was still struggling with was his emotions towards Jungkook - sometimes he still noticed that he was looking at Jungkook a bit longer than he normally should, or that he felt a small ache in his chest at the sight of him and Seokjin sharing a small peck on the lips or holding each other’s hands. It’s not that he was in love with Jungkook, but he was attracted to him, and it had been so long since he’d felt like this towards anyone that it was harder for him to take his emotions under control. He was happy for them, for Seokjin that after so long he finally had someone, and he didn’t want to intervene. That’s why Yoongi felt guilty whenever he felt that tingling feeling while he was around Taehyung, when he saw his huge smile, or his flushed cheeks - he was attracted to Taehyung as well, but he didn’t want to use him as Jungkook’s replacement. He wanted to make sure that what he was feeling towards Taehyung was permanent, that it would transform into something more, and that Taehyung had similar feelings towards him.He knew he could just use his powers, but he didn’t want that, even if his curiosity was killing him. Taehyung had not told him too much about himself which was completely understandable, considering he was not an ordinary human. That’s why he was so glad for all of the small bits of information Taehyung had told him, like how he’d moved into this city a short while ago - he’d been living with his grandparents before that, helping them out around the house and garden. Taehyung wanted to go into a university, planning to major in photography, so he decided to move here and get a job to save money for the course.Yoongi accepted the fact that Taehyung was probably not going to talk about his powers, but he still hoped that one day he’s going to open up to him. He also noticed how Tae hid his pain from time to time, Yoongi assumed that it probably had something to do with his wings, but he wasn’t sure about it. But, until then, he still was going to do his best to get to know Taehyung. As Yoongi had been for the past few weeks, he woke up pretty early, his inner nerves tingling - which was not new either. He’d talked with Taehyung the previous day and decided to visit him at the coffee shop. He quickly got ready and made his way to the kitchen. The delicious smell of the meal Seokjin was making hit his nose, making him close his eyes for a moment as he stepped into the kitchen. It was so tempting to eat, but he wanted to have breakfast at the coffee shop.“Good morning, hyung!” Jungkook greeted him, he was sitting at the table, a heart warming smile crossing his face. Seokjin was sitting right next to him, mumbling a good morning with a mouthful of his breakfast.“Good morning! Enjoy your meal.” Yoongi greeted him back as he made his way towards the front door. He was showing his back to them so they couldn’t see his blush - he felt how his cheeks started burning at the sight of Jungkook’s sweet bunny smile. It was still hard for him to not get flustered around Jungkook when he was complimenting him or smiling at him so sweetly.“You’re heading to the coffee shop?” Yoongi heard Seokjin’s question.“Not right away - I have to go somewhere else first.” He replied as he put his coat on. He felt someone’s presence next to him so he looked there, seeing that Seokjin was standing next to him. “What is it?” Yoongi asked him with a raised eyebrow.“I just wanted to let you know that today I’ll have to leave soon - dad wants me to be at the meeting he planned for today, so I’ll probably get back home late.” Seokjin replied with an annoyed look.“Hang in there, hyung.” Yoongi patted his shoulder. “See you later today then.” He said before he walked out of the hallway, hearing that Seokjin closed the door behind him.On his way to his destination, Yoongi wondered about Seokjin. Seokjin’s father was the owner of the hotel where they were living, and Jin helped his dad to run the hotel, accompanied him to the meetings from time to time - he wanted to prove to his father that he’d be capable of taking his place. Yoongi knew how hard it was to impress his father, but Seokjin did his best. The sound of the doorbell was not that loud, but the girl behind the counter could still hear it, lifting her head up to check out who came in. Her mouth curled up to a smile, her eyes glistening with joy.“Good morning! How can I help you?”“Good morning! I’m Min Yoongi, I have an appointment for nine thirty.” Yoongi replied with a shy smile. The girl checked her notebook out, then looked back at him a few moments later.“Ah, I see your name here.” She said as she walked out from behind the counter. “Follow me, please.”Yoongi did as asked, following the girl, sitting down onto the chair where she pointed after they stopped.“He’s not finished yet with his previous client, but I’ll let him know you’re here when he’s done.”“Thank you.” Yoongi said with a smile, glad as he got one from the girl before she left him there. His phone buzzed in his pocket; Yoongi took it out to check who texted him. He couldn’t hold back a low chuckle when he read the lines before he tapped the name who sent the text to him, lifting the phone to his ear.“Shouldn’t you be working?” Yoongi asked with a teasing tone.“I’m on a break.” His face flashed in front of Yoongi, how he’d look at him with his puppy eyes, his lips forming a pout.“Isn’t it too early for a break?”“I already served all of my tables, and I thought about texting you, you know, to check out how you're doing.” Yoongi felt his lips curling upwards at the latter’s answer.“I had to stop by somewhere before going to the coffee shop.” Yoongi explained, silently nodding to the hairdresser in the meantime as he arrived.“Oh, I see…” The silence was loud enough for Yoongi to know what was in the other’s mind, he didn’t even have to use his powers for that.“Tae, don’t think about anything extraordinary, okay? You’re going to find out soon when I’ll visit you.” Yoongi explained, noticing the understanding smile on his hairdresser’s face while he put and tied the kerchief around his neck.“O-okay. Then… you’ll come later, right?” Taehyung asked, still a bit worried.“I promise.” Yoongi replied, still smiling as he put his phone away. ★★★ Taehyung stared at his phone in his hand, wondering where Yoongi could be at that moment. Before he could think about anything stupid, he shook his head as he put his phone away, then he made his way back and checked out the tables. He should not start assuming anything at all - they only had met a few weeks ago, he couldn’t expect him to tell him every little detail of his life or what he was doing. Also, he promised he’s going to visit him, and he had to trust him.Every time he heard the doorbell he whipped his head up, hoping that Yoongi's going to step in. The customers came and left, one after the other, but none of them was Yoongi. An hour went by and it was harder and harder for Taehyung to smile. He knew he was being childish but he couldn't help it - he truly wanted to see Yoongi.Taehyung gave up by the time he heard the doorbell's ringing. He couldn't force a smile onto his face anymore, but once he noticed who came in, his mouth fell open.Holy shit.Yoongi was walking towards him, his lips curled up to a shy smile while he scratched the back of his neck."Is it that bad?" Yoongi asked, trying to joke around but Taehyung noticed how his voice trembled just a tad bit. All Taehyung could do was to blink, processing the sight in front of him."What?" Taehyung asked dumbly, then he shook his head. "No, not at all! You look amazing!" He added, and boy was it an understatement. The mint-green colour looked good on Yoongi, but the way he glanced at him from under his now blonde locks…Holy shit.Yoongi's cheeks turned red at the compliment, and he glanced away."Tha-thank you." Yoongi stuttered so quietly, Taehyung barely heard it."Let me find you a table and I'll get your order." Taehyung said as he walked out from behind the counter and made his way towards the tables. Once they found a free one, Yoongi sat down. "The usual?" He asked, and once Yoongi nodded he left them there. He checked the other tables out, collecting the dirty dishes before he went back behind the counter to clean them up. While he was doing Yoongi's order, he couldn't stop himself from glancing towards the other. He noticed that Yoongi's hair was shorter now, and it looked so fluffy, soft, his fingers itched, wanting to bury them in it. It truly suited Yoongi, he looked even more attractive than before.Taehyung, stop thinking about this, he warned himself. It's been a few weeks since they had met, but it still felt a bit too fast to have these kinds of thoughts. He slightly shook his head to erase those thoughts - Yoongi was very kind with him, but he didn't want to have too much hope to fall in the end. He finally had a friend, he didn't want to mess it up with assumptions. He collected all of the orders he made and made his way back to the tables, serving them to the customers. He served Yoongi's drink for last, trying not to blush when Yoongi smiled at him and sat down next to him. Yoongi lifted the mug to his lips and took a sip, closing his eyes right after as he hummed. Taehyung couldn't help but smile."The coffee you make is always so good!" Yoongi said, smiling back at him."Ah, I'm sure there are people who could make just as good, or even better - it just takes some practice." Taehyung said as he glanced away. Why was he blushing?"There are things you can never learn though, no matter how hard you practise." Yoongi said mysteriously, and Taehyung didn't know how to respond to that. A few moments later the doorbell rang again; Taehyung turned his head towards the customer who came in, and he couldn’t help the pout that formed on his lips.“You can go, I don’t want to keep you distracted.” Yoongi said, making Taehyung look back at him. “I’ll finish my coffee and let you do your job.” He added with a reassuring smile.“I’m so sorry. There are more customers today than the usual…” Taehyung mumbled, his lips still pursed to a pout. He heard a low chuckle from Yoongi, making him look at him.“It’s fine, really. I’ll talk to you later, okay?” Yoongi asked, he even showed his gummy smile, trying to ease the mood. Taehyung appreciated it but he just couldn’t smile back at him.“Okay.” Taehyung stood up and made his way towards the counter to greet and serve the customer who came in. ★★★ Yoongi barely left the coffee shop when his phone buzzed in his pocket. He fished it out to check it out - it was a text message from Seokjin, letting him know that he couldn’t come home until late at night. Yoongi tried to joke, replying that he’d make a frat party, but sadly Seokjin didn’t appreciate it. After Yoongi reassured him that he was just joking and that he and Jungkook would be just fine he locked his phone and slid it back into his pocket. As he started walking he wondered what were they going to do while waiting for Seokjin - it was strange that Jungkook was going to be there while Seokjin was not.Thankfully the whole slipped-into-their-minds-during-sex had not happened again. Sometimes Yoongi had heard them, but it had not been that bad and not as frequent - especially as he had become more outgoing too since he’d met Taehyung.Yoongi had not gone to parties either - he just… he didn’t feel like it, the thought of having one night stands and hangovers was not as appealing anymore. Instead, he spent more time with Taehyung and at his desk in his room, working on his ideas and lyrics. As he lifted his head up and looked at the hotel, an unpleasant shiver ran up on his spine. He tried to not think about it too much, but he couldn’t shake off this feeling. Fucking hell, get yourself together, Yoongi! They’re going to be fine, just because Seokjin wasn’t home doesn't mean anything would happen. Yoongi knew his boundaries, he knew how much those two loved each other, and he was not in love with Jungkook. Sure, he found him attractive, but he felt like this towards Taehyung too. Also, they didn’t have to spend their time together - they could both mind their own business. Jungkook would probably either watch a movie or play Overwatch (Yoongi still couldn’t believe how much time Jungkook had been spending in front of his computer). He sort of convinced himself when he stepped out from the elevator and walked towards their suite, nodding to the guards on the way.“I’m home!” Yoongi half-shouted while he closed the door, he kept his head low as he toed out of his shoes and took off his coat.“Hey, hyung- oh wow.” Yoongi heard Jungkook’s voice when he walked past him - he was sitting on the couch, watching something. He paused the movie, and Yoongi couldn’t explain why he sat down next to him, but he tried not to think about it.Yet, the moment Jungkook showed him his big smile, he knew it didn’t matter at all.Jungkook looked at Yoongi for a few moments, his eyes scanning his hair and face thoroughly, smiling widely at the end so much that even his nose scrunched.Don’t you dare to blush, Yoongi.“What is it? The cat took your tongue?” Yoongi asked after a few more moments of silence.“No, it’s just - you haven’t told us anything about going to the hairdresser.” Jungkook replied to him, his smile turning to a smaller one. “Your new hair colour caught me off guard, that’s all.” He added, then he leaned a bit closer, his big, doe eyes scanning Yoongi which might have made his heart beat a bit faster.“Wha-what is it?” Yoongi asked, and he truly hoped his burning cheeks were not noticeable.“Did you get a haircut too?” Jungkook asked, his brows furrowing, giving him a cute look.“Yes, I did.” Yoongi replied shortly, hoping that Jungkook would drag away - as much as he hated to admit, being this close to the other had an effect on him.Yoongi had no idea why Jungkook could make him blush so easily. Yes, he was aware that he found Jungkook attractive, and he thought that Seokjin was a lucky bastard. Jungkook was handsome, had a big heart, and he was smart (Yoongi had figured that out thanks to some more serious conversations; the younger was more mature than others his age), and he was good in bed as well.Yoongi assumed that from that incident. He couldn’t help it, his eyes flickered to Jungkook’s lips at the last thought. They looked so soft and tempting-No, Yoongi, don’t think about that!Seokjin was in love with him, and Jungkook felt the same way towards Seokjin. He couldn’t do this to them! His conscience would kill him if he’d even try to do anything stupid.“He smells so good… No! You have to hold back yourself, Jungkook! Hyung will get back home later tonight, you just have to wait for him.“ Jungkook’s thoughts echoed in Yoongi’s mind, making him frown. Something was not right.Yoongi lifted his head up and scanned Jungkook’s face more thoroughly.“Jungkook?” Yoongi spoke softly, the worry in his chest growing. Jungkook stayed put, his eyes focusing on his lips, a new emotion sparkled in his gaze but Yoongi couldn’t figure out what it was.“Hmm?” Jungkook hummed, keeping his eyes on his mouth.Shit.“Jungkook.” Yoongi tried again, putting his hands onto Jungkook’s shoulders, tightening his grip a little. Thankfully it was enough, Jungkook finally lifted his head up and looked him in the eye. Then he glanced away, his cheeks turning slightly pink while he took his bottom lip between his teeth.“I’m sorry…” Jungkook mumbled quietly, his blush a clear sign of his embarrassment.“This is going to sound blunt, but-” Yoongi took a deep breath before he spoke again. “When was the last time you and hyung had slept together?”The question made Jungkook’s cheeks burn even harder. It was a tricky one too because during these past weeks Seokjin had helped him learn how he could control his powers. They had figured out that Jungkook was able to gain the aura he needed even if they didn’t have sex - he only needed his partner to have an orgasm.“Uh- about a week ago.” Jungkook stuttered. The last time was short, they didn’t have sex, it was a practice round where Jungkook tried to take only a part of Seokjin’s aura, not all. That’s why he felt so… hungry.“Jungkook, you do know that hyung is not going to come back home until late night, right?” Yoongi asked him, his voice was filled with worry.“Yeah, I know - he texted me about half an hour ago.” Jungkook replied, trying to sound casual while he did his best to not think about how good Yoongi was looking with his new haircut.Yoongi stared at him for a short while, Jungkook assumed he was thinking about what they should do. While wondering, Yoongi turned his head towards the window, nibbling his lips in the meantime. The desire lit up inside of Jungkook without a warning, so intense as it was trying to take control over him. Yoongi’s lips were not as plump as Seokjin’s, but as Yoongi ran his tongue over them, a picture of him pressing his own lips against the other’s flashed in front of his eyes. No, I have to behave!, Jungkook thought.Yoongi suddenly looked at him again, and a moment later he was on his feet, taking a few steps to sit onto the sofa which was near the couch.“Don’t even think about that again, okay?” Yoongi asked, and Jungkook was sure that his voice was trembling a little, his cheeks turning slightly pink as well.“I-I’m sorry.” Jungkook stuttered as he lowered his head, his eyes focusing on his hands in his lap. Guilt lit up inside of him, burning in his belly. How could he think about kissing Yoongi?Jungkook heard a deep sigh from Yoongi, but he kept his eyes on his hands.“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” Yoongi’s voice was barely above whispering as he spoke, yet it felt so loud in the silence.“There’s nothing you should apologise for.” Jungkook mumbled, his voice just as low.“No, you’re wrong. You still have a lot to learn about how to use your powers, and now that I know that it’s been quite a while since you two were together, it’s understandable that you can’t keep it under control.” Yoongi said, and his words made Jungkook look at him. Jungkook couldn’t explain why, but his throat tightened, making it harder to speak.“Will I- will I ever be able to control it?”“I wish I knew!” Yoongi replied with a small huff. “Every power is unique- it’s hard to say how long it takes for someone to learn how to control their own. It took me longer to get there than for hyung.” He added, a small smile crossing his face.“Really?” Jungkook asked with a raised eyebrow.“Mhm! It still happens with me that people’s thoughts slip into my mind.” Yoongi replied with a shrug. “It’s even harder to keep the thoughts out of my head from people who are like us.” He added.“Do you know why?”“I have no idea.” Yoongi replied with another shrug. “Maybe my power reacts to our kind, to the others who also have powers like me.”“Like how you heard Taehyung’s thoughts at the park?” Jungkook asked as he remembered their new friend. Well, Taehyung had not told them about his powers yet, but Jungkook thought that Taehyung was going to tell them one day.“Yep.” Yoongi nodded with a smile. Jungkook needed a few moments to notice that thanks to their little conversation, the desire he had felt had faded, and Yoongi seemed more relaxed as well.Jungkook’s stomach growled, breaking the silence that settled between them. Yoongi let out a low chuckle which made Jungkook’s cheeks burn.“Come on, let’s find something to eat.” Yoongi said as he stood up and made his way to the kitchen. Jungkook soon followed him, leaning against the counter next to the fridge, watching as Yoongi grabbed the ingredients from the fridge.“Can I help you?” Jungkook asked when Yoongi started preparing the ingredients.“Do I look like someone who can’t cook?” Yoongi asked as he looked at him, his lips forming a pout.“What? No, not at all, it’s just-” Jungkook rambled, still under the effect of that pout before he took a deep breath. “I’d gladly help you is all.” He said eventually.“Well, you can prepare the veggies if you truly would like to help.” Yoongi said after a few moments. Jungkook pushed himself away from the counter and stepped next to the other, washing the vegetables before he started peeling them. They barely talked during the whole process; Yoongi gave him instructions of what he should do next once he’d finished the previous task he needed to do. It was surprising how well they worked together, finishing the cooking pretty quickly. While Yoongi did the last touches with the meal, Jungkook set the table. Once everything was done, they sat down, facing each other, Jungkook let out a deep sigh as he looked at the meal they made. After they bid their wishes, Jungkook grabbed his plate and poured a rather big amount of food onto it as he felt really hungry. He finished the portion pretty quickly and served the second round onto his plate.“Looks like someone’s hungry.” Yoongi spoke up. Jungkook glanced at Yoongi while he froze in place, chopsticks right in front of his mouth. Yoongi looked at him with a small smile, and Jungkook couldn’t help it, he felt his cheeks burning, earning a chuckle from the other. “Don’t worry, you can eat as much as you like.” He added, his smile softening.“Are you sure? I don’t want you to stay hungry because of me.” Jungkook asked after he swallowed his bite of food.“Watching you eat makes me feel full.” Yoongi replied, and a few moments later his cheeks turned pink, then he lowered his head and started eating.Silence settled between them as they continued eating, sometimes one of them hummed as they liked what they had made. Jungkook leaned back in his chair, rubbing his now full stomach. He had to admit that Yoongi was almost as good at cooking as Seokjin.“So, are you full now? Or would you like to get a third round?” Yoongi asked, showing Jungkook his gummy smile when he lifted his head up. Jungkook didn’t know why but he felt his cheeks burning again.“I- I’m full now.” Jungkook replied. “Thank you for the meal, it was delicious.” He added with a shy smile.“There’s no need to thank me- you helped me, remember?” Yoongi said as he stood up from the table and started collecting the dirty dishes. Jungkook lifted his arms up and stretched a little with his eyes closed before he stood up as well.“I didn’t do much, though, I just prepped the veggies.” Jungkook said, slowly making his way to the counters - he wanted to put away the leftovers for Seokjin. “You did the rest all by yourself.”“It was a pretty easy meal, and I partly made it for myself, not just for you.” Yoongi reasoned, stepping next to Jungkook after he finished putting the dirty dishes into the dishwasher. Yoongi leaned against the counter, and Jungkook could feel his eyes on him while he was putting away the leftovers. The incubus inside of Jungkook perked his head up at Yoongi’s closeness, and a moment later he felt the sparkle of desire lit up. He tried to suppress it, focusing on what he was doing as he didn’t want to show his struggling to Yoongi.“I’m still grateful for the delicious meal.” Jungkook insisted as he glanced at Yoongi. The other showed him a soft smile, and in other circumstances Jungkook would appreciate it, but right now all it did was to fuel the desire he tried to suppress.“You’re so stubborn.” Yoongi mumbled as he slightly shook his head, then he pushed himself away from the counter and walked into his own bedroom. Jungkook put his hands onto the counter, lowering his head as a deep sigh left his lips. That was too close. He had to be more careful for the rest of the day.Once Jungkook put the containers into the fridge, he made his way to the living room and turned the TV off - he lost his interest in the movie he had been watching. He went into their room instead, hoping that playing some video games would be enough distraction. They’re going to have a long day. ★★★ When Yoongi closed the door, he leaned his back against it, closing his eyes as a deep sigh slipped through his lips. He had seen the desire burning in Jungkook’s eyes, and had seen how much he’d tried to suppress it. To make it less harder for him, Yoongi decided to leave Jungkook alone. It was the best for both of them.Pushing himself away from the door, Yoongi walked to his desk, hopping down onto the chair as he opened his notebook. He ran his fingers through his hair, resting his head in his palm as he read what he’d written earlier, hoping it’d help to get some inspiration. It had worked so many times before, it was worth giving it a try.Unfortunately it didn’t work this time, Yoongi’s mind was completely blank, nothing new came up. After about an hour of trying, Yoongi roughly closed his notebook with an annoyed huff and leaned back in his seat. He didn’t know what else he should do - he didn’t want to sleep, it was way too early for that. And he didn’t want to leave Jungkook alone either, so going out was no option either.Yoongi felt sorry for Jungkook - having powers like he did must have been hard. Without the source, the aura he could get from his partners after their orgasm, he’d die. It felt so cruel to have powers like this in general, and it was even worse for someone as young as Jungkook. He had to admit that it was nice from Seokjin that he’d offered his help. Yoongi wondered how he would be able to help though, because he had no clue. It was a good thing that they had feelings towards each other, it made things a bit easier for them, but not as much. It had been only about three-four months since Jungkook’s powers had shown up, and he had no idea if he had any other sides of them, if he could do more than taking the aura from his partners.Exploring your abilities was a never-ending process, and Jungkook had a long path ahead of him. Even Yoongi had found out recently that he had powers he’d never used yet - that he was able to slip into someone else’s mind while they were awake, he could see through their eyes. While wondering, Yoongi activated his powers unintentionally, checking out what Jungkook was doing at the moment. Once he was sure that the other was okay - Jungkook was playing Overwatch -, he went to his wardrobe, grabbing a new set of clothes he could wear after a hot bath. Who knew, maybe he’d get inspired more easily after some relaxing. As he left his bedroom, he made his way towards the bathroom, closing the door behind himself before he stepped to the sink. It still surprised him as he looked into the mirror, he had not gotten used to his new haircut and colour yet.He turned towards the bathtub and opened the tap. Once he was sure the temperature was okay, he sent a text message to Taehyung, letting him know that they couldn’t meet today, but he promised that tomorrow he’d start the day at the coffee shop. Yoongi wondered when Taehyung would trust him enough to tell about his powers. Yoongi knew he had to be patient, he was aware that Taehyung needed time. Trust was hard to earn, and it could be destroyed so fast, so easily. The sound of the notification pulled Yoongi out of his thoughts - it was Seokjin, he asked how things were going. Yoongi told him about Jungkook - he just couldn’t keep secrets from his hyung. He added that everything was fine but he asked Seokjin to come back home as soon as possible.Yoongi put his phone to the edge of the sink, then he closed the tub’s tap. After he took his clothes off, he stepped into the bathtub, a quiet sigh slipping through his lips as he sank under the hot water, tickling his skin.Yoongi let his mind wander, memories of his past playing in front of his eyes, how his powers had showed up back then. The timing had been bad, to say the least - it had ruined his future, his chance of becoming a basketball player.Destroying his love life had been just the ice of the cake. For some reason, Yoongi let himself think about him too. Had he found someone else? Was he happy? Yoongi made sure to disappear from his life after they had broken up - or, well, after he had broken up with Yoongi. His last words still cut deep into Yoongi’s heart.“I can’t stay with you. Not when I know that you can see into my mind at any moment you want. I love you, but everyone has their own secrets, secrets they don’t want to share with anyone. And I’m like that too, hyung. I hope you can understand.” Yoongi could still remember his face - how sad his eyes had been, his tears rolling down on his flushed cheeks, his lips had been trembling, that heart-shaped smile Yoongi loved seeing so much was nowhere to be seen. “I hope you’ll find your other half. I’m so sorry that I’m not the one for you. Goodbye, hyung.”Yoongi let out a shaky breath as he angrily wiped his tears off of his face. Why did his ex still have this effect on him? It’s been years for fuck’s sake!Yoongi was so glad that on the day when he’d heard Taehyung’s thoughts he had not met with him. He was sure he wouldn’t be able to handle that.Deciding that it was best to stop thinking about the past, Yoongi shook his head and stood up, stepping out of the bathtub. He shivered a little as the water went cold since he got in and wrapped his towel around his waist. He went to where he’d left his clothes, taking his phone into his hand to check out if he’d gotten any messages while he was in the tub. He focused on his phone, unaware of what’s happening around himself. While Yoongi was in the bathroom, Jungkook was in their bedroom, playing Overwatch on his computer. He was so invested in the game that he completely lost track of time, and his own needs. When his current game ended, he went back to the main menu, pulled his headphones off and rushed towards the bathroom. He didn’t even notice that the door was closed as he stepped in, his hands were already grabbing the hem of his pants when he realised that he wasn’t alone.Holy shit.Yoongi was standing there, the only cloth he had on was the towel wrapped around his waist, holding his shirt mid-air with his hand - Jungkook had gotten here when he was about to dress up. Yoongi’s bare chest was still wet, the light made the droplets glimpse on his pale skin. Yoongi was looking at him with wide eyes, his lips partly opened by surprise.“Ah, fuck, I-I’m sorry!” Jungkook stuttered, cursing internally because his legs were not moving. He should leave, but the sight of a half-naked Yoongi shocked him so much that his body didn’t want to cooperate. The desire he had felt earlier that day lit up inside him once again, but it was much more intense now.Jungkook wanted to get closer to him. To walk to him, caressing his soft skin, from his chest up to his neck, fisting his hair in the end and pull him in to kiss him.Logically, he knew that he shouldn’t even have these kind of thoughts, they only perked the incubus’s head, his growl resonating in Jungkook’s chest, urging Jungkook to actually do what he just imagined.A few moments later he remembered Seokjin, how disappointed he would become if he’d know what Jungkook was thinking about. That was enough for Jungkook to suppress his lustful thoughts and shush the incubus inside of him, to hold back himself. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, squeezing his hands into fists.“Get out.” He said with a low voice, almost growling.“What?” Yoongi asked him.“Hyung, I want you to grab your stuff and get out of here.” Jungkook tried again. “The best would be if you’d go into your room and stay there until Seokjin hyung gets home-” He finished, but he still kept his eyes closed. Seeing a half-naked Yoongi in the state he was currently in would not help at all.“Alright.” Jungkook heard Yoongi, then he heard some fumbling, followed by some footsteps. He only opened his eyes when he heard a door being closed. Taking a few deep breaths while counting to ten, he finally opened his eyes.Fuck, this was way too close. As he walked towards the toilet, he heard a door being opened and closed again - Yoongi went into his own room. He’s probably dressing up now, pulling that shirt onto his nice, bare chest-No, stop thinking about him, Jungkook warned himself as he washed his hands. He let the water get colder and washed his face multiple times. He needed to calm down.It took him a while to get rid of his horny thoughts, but he eventually made it back into their own room (only glancing towards the closed door of Yoongi’s room), walking to the bed, lying down with a deep sigh.Unfortunately the moment Jungkook closed his eyes, he saw the picture of the half-naked Yoongi looking at him with his parted lips, his cheeks turning pink with every passing second. The incubus growled inside him, never letting Jungkook erase the picture from his mind. No, it made things worse, and Jungkook found himself scanning every inch of Yoongi’s body, how the water droplets rolled down on his naked chest, how the towel showed a glimpse of his waistline, giving more space for his imagination to go on-Shit, this is not good, he thought.Jungkook opened his eyes, his cheeks burning at the sight of the obvious bulge in his pants. He knew that touching himself would definitely not work, it’d only make things worse. Sadly he needed someone else to reach their orgasm as he got the source from their aura, not from his own…Wait-Jungkook sat up as the thought formed in his mind. It felt like a very bad idea, a stupid one even, but right at that moment he knew that he was not going to make it before Seokjin would get home. This would be his only solution.Yoongi was lying in his bed - already dressed -, trying to process what had happened. This had been way too close. A part of him was glad that in the end they had not done anything they could regret later. But, a small part of him felt… disappointed. What would have happened if Yoongi would’ve stayed in the bathroom? He let his imagination go wild, him being there with Jungkook who was staring at him, his eyes flickering to his bare chest, then back to his eyes. Yoongi made his way towards him with slow steps, a small, almost shy smile crossing his face while his fingers would play with the towel which was around his waist.A knock on his door snapped Yoongi out of his thoughts. A few whispered curses slipped through his lips as he looked at himself, his eyes stopping at his visible erection. Here goes nothing, Yoongi thought as he got off his bed, making sure that his shirt was covering his bulge. He took a calming breath and opened the door.“What is it?” Yoongi asked as he looked at Jungkook, glad that he sounded casual. Jungkook looked a little nervous, it made Yoongi frown.“I-I’d like to ask you something.” Jungkook replied, his voice low, his cheeks getting a little pink as well.“Okay?” Yoongi said, but it sounded more like a question. He raised one of his eyebrows, waiting for Jungkook to ask what he wanted to. He was aware that they should avoid each other right now, but his curiosity was bigger.“Uh… can I come in?” Jungkook asked after a few moments of silence, his blush intensifying. Yoongi’s frown deepened, but he stepped aside and let Jungkook in. While he closed the door, Jungkook walked to his bed and sat onto the edge of the mattress. Yoongi felt his pulse rising as he made his way towards the other, sitting down as well. He noticed that Jungkook avoided looking at him.“Jungkook, what would you like to ask?” Yoongi spoke up after a few moments of silence. Jungkook finally lifted his head up and looked at him, his eyes going wider. For a brief moment, Yoongi felt like Jungkook was scared.“Before asking, let me explain a few things first, okay?” Jungkook asked him.“Okay.”“So, as you already know, I need a sort of… energy to survive.” Jungkook started, and Yoongi nodded, he remembered when he first heard it.“And I get this energy from the aura that only appears around someone after they have an orgasm.” Jungkook went on with his explanation, his face becoming completely red now. Yoongi nodded once again - he’d heard this from Seokjin when they had first spoken about Jungkook’s powers.“I- I wouldn’t ask this from you, but as by now I realised that I don’t have another solution, that I can’t wait any longer…” Jungkook rambled, but he still trailed off at the end as he lowered his gaze, staring at his own hands in his lap.Yoongi felt his gears turning as he slowly realised what Jungkook was trying to ask.The mere thought was enough for Yoongi to make his cheeks burn, his face probably gotten just as red as Jungkook’s.“Jungkook, I’m not going to have sex with you!” Yoongi said, still in disbelief. What was Jungkook thinking? How could he ask such a thing? He had Seokjin for fuck’s sake! Even if the thought was flattering in a way, Yoongi could never do that to his hyung. His conscience was stronger than his own desires.“What? No, this is not what I’m asking for!” Jungkook said as he waved with his hands.“Then what the hell do you want from me?” Yoongi asked, his brows furrowing.Jungkook exhaled his breath a bit shakily, running his fingers through his raven black locks.“Well, people don’t have to have sex to have an orgasm…” Jungkook trailed off, his cheeks getting a nice shade of pink.Oh, my God.“You- this is a joke, right?” Yoongi asked. He just couldn’t believe what Jungkook was trying to say.“Do I look like I’m kidding?” Jungkook asked, taking his bottom lip between his teeth.“I don’t know, Jungkook. Please forgive me, but it’s hard to believe that you’re asking me to- to have an orgasm in front of you.” This sounded like a joke - a terrible one. If Yoongi wasn’t the main subject of this whole thing, maybe he’d even laugh. Maybe.“Look, I already told you that I wouldn’t be asking you to do this for me if it wouldn’t be vital. But as you saw earlier, I can’t suppress my inner demon long enough to wait for Seokjin hyung.” Jungkook let out a defeated sigh. “Trust me, it’s better for the both of us if we do this before the incubus would take control over me.” He added, and there was something in his gaze, in his tone that let Yoongi know how serious this whole thing was.“Is it that bad?” Yoongi licked his lips nervously, and he noticed how Jungkook’s eyes were following his movement.Shit.“Yes, it is.” Jungkook replied. A deep sigh left Yoongi’s lips at that; he turned his head as he ran his fingers through his hair.“And what about hyung?” Yoongi asked, looking back at Jungkook. They had to tell this to him - he was like a brother for Yoongi, he couldn’t keep this from him, his conscience would kill him.“I- I don’t know.” Jungkook mumbled as he lowered his head. Yoongi saw how hard this was for the other, how he was probably feeling guilty that he was not able to wait for Seokjin. Yoongi’s heart ached at the sight, he reached his hand towards Jungkook’s face, lifting his head up by his chin.“I’m going to talk to hyung, letting him know what’s going on. Maybe he’ll have a better idea.” He said, showing an encouraging smile to Jungkook. The other nodded, then Yoongi let his chin go and stood up, taking his phone with him as he made his way into his room. Here goes nothing, Yoongi thought. ★★★ Seokjin couldn’t focus on the conference at all, his thoughts were all around Jungkook - he just couldn’t calm down after Yoongi’s text, but he knew his father way too well to know that the meeting was not going to end until late night.“Son, would you pick up your phone?” Seokjin glanced at his father at the question, pulling him out from his thoughts. Seokjin was so distracted that he didn’t notice how his phone was buzzing on the table, slightly moving by it.“Ah- yeah, I’m sorry. If you may excuse me-” Seokjin said as he stood up, bowing multiple times as an apology as he left the conference room and stopped a few metres away in the hallway. His breath hitched in his throat as he read who was calling him. His thumb trembled over the screen before he answered the call.“What is it, Yoongi?” He asked, glad that he was not stuttering.“When are you going to come home, hyung? Is there any way you can leave sooner?” Yoongi asked, and Seokjin didn’t have to use his powers to hear how nervous the other was.“You know my dad- I have no chance to leave earlier. He’s already mad at me because I’m not going to stay and drink with them after the meeting.” Seokjin explained. His father was so old-fashioned, drinking after work was a must to him so to speak.“Hyung… Jungkook can’t wait any longer.” Yoongi started, his voice trembling.“Wha-what?” Seokjin asked, his grip tightening around his phone.“He explained that the last time you two were together was a week ago, and that the incubus inside of him is slowly trying to take control over him.”“Shit.” Seokjin mumbled. It was true - and it was even worse now as Jungkook had not taken all of his aura the last time, so that’s why he was like this. And Seokjin remembered what Jungkook had told him back then, what it was like when the demon was controlling him.“Hyung?” Seokjin heard Yoongi’s voice, pulling him out from his thoughts.“Yeah?”“Jungkook came up with an idea…” Yoongi started, but he trailed off which made Seokjin frown.“Yoongi.” Was all Seokjin said after a few moments of silence. This was definitely not a waste of time - Yoongi knew him well enough to be aware how much Seokjin hated when he did this. He heard a deep sigh from the other side of the line.“Jungkook told you how he gets the source he needs, right?” Yoongi asked.“Yes, he did.” Seokjin replied. He had no idea where this was going.“And- uh, have he ever took that aura from you without having sex with you?”Oh.Right, Seokjin had never told Yoongi that he had been trying to help Jungkook use and control his powers. Sometimes Jungkook had jerked or sucked him off to make him come and had tried to only take a part of his aura, not all- which had happened the last time they had been together.“Hyung?” Seokjin got pulled back to reality again by Yoongi.“Ah, right- well, yeah, he did.” Seokjin replied, his cheeks burning at the unexpected confession. “Why are you asking?” He added after he got through his embarrassment.“Well, that’s the idea Jungkook came up with.” Yoongi explained, and Seokjin was sure that the other was blushing.“You mean-”“Yeah.” Yoongi cut him off as he probably didn’t want Seokjin to finish his sentence.“Wait, seriously?” Seokjin asked as Yoongi’s words slowly sank in.“Hyung, if you have a better idea, then please tell me, because knowing the circumstances, neither of us could figure out a better solution.” Yoongi said, and by the tone he had Seokjin knew he was just as worried about Jungkook. It eased that tightness in his chest he was feeling, but not that much. Seokjin tried to think of another idea, but nothing came up.“I don’t know what else you should do.” He said eventually, his heart aching. He felt like he failed Jungkook, that he was not able to be with him when he needed it the most. He hated how he had responsibilities he couldn’t get rid of. His father was aware about his powers, and he knew that Jungkook was living with them, but Seokjin had not told him that Jungkook was not an ordinary human. That’s why Seokjin couldn’t leave now as he didn’t want to expose Jungkook’s powers to his father. Also, Seokjin was his father’s heir, and he had to show him that he was capable to step into his shoes when the time would come, and for that he had to make sacrifices. He had to do this now for the sake of Yoongi’s and Jungkook’s future. If his dad wouldn’t see that Seokjin was capable of taking the lead from him, he’d deprive him from the benefits he had as the heir - and living in the hotel was a part of it. Yes, he was an only child, but his father was old-fashioned about this topic - if Seokjin would disappoint him, his father would search for another heir and Soekjin would have to live on his own.“I’m so sorry hyung, I really am.” Yoongi broke the silence that settled between them. “Jungkook feels awful too, I could see it. You’re the only reason he was capable of holding back himself for so long. He feels guilty for coming up with this idea at all.” He added, making Seokjin bite into his bottom lip as he tried to hold back his tears.Seokjin let out a defeated sigh.“Thank you for telling me this, Yoongi-yah. I’m grateful for your honesty.” Seokjin said and bit into his bottom lip to keep himself quiet. He had questions, but he was too scared to ask.“Hyung, I can basically hear your thoughts through the phone.” Yoongi said, and Seokjin felt his lips curling up to a small smile. Yoongi knew him too well.“What did- what is that Jungkook is asking from you exactly?” Seokjin asked, and he tried to not think about how embarrassing this whole conversation was.“Well, he didn’t give me the details, he just hinted that I’ll have to- you know…” Yoongi trailed off, but there was no need to finish his sentence, Seokjin knew what he was talking about.“I can’t believe we’re talking about this.” Seokjin voiced what he was thinking, running his fingers through his hair.“Hey, it’s just as embarrassing for me.” Yoongi noted, and by the tone he had Seokjin’s guess was that Yoongi was probably scratching the back of his neck.“Point taken.” Seokjin said, then he let out a deep breath. “Listen, do what you have to do, but- just spare me with the details, please?” He fumbled a little with his words.“I can do that.” Yoongi said after a few moments.“Yoongi?” Seokjin spoke up before Yoongi could end the call. Fuck, just to think about what he wanted to say made his heart ache, but he had to.“I don’t really care what’s going to happen between you two, just please do not have-”“Hyung, don’t even think about that, okay?” Yoongi interrupted him. “I swear to you that we’re not going to go that far.” His tone was firm, a wave of relief rushed through Seokjin by it.“Promise?” Seokjin asked, and he hated how much his voice trembled.“Promise.” Yoongi replied.“Thank you, Yoongichi. I’ll try to go home soon- once the meeting ends, I’ll be on my way.” Seokjin said as he slowly turned over, making his way back to the conference room’s door.“Okay. I’m so sorry, hyung. I truly am.” Yoongi whispered, his voice filled with emotions.“I know, and I’m really grateful for your help.” Seokjin gripped his phone tightly, his fingertips whitening. “Bye, Yoongi-yah.”“Bye, hyungie.” Yoongi mumbled before he ended the call.Seokjin stayed outside for a few more minutes - he needed some time to recollect himself. He felt like his heart was bleeding at the thought of what Yoongi and Jungkook were going to do. Even though he knew that this was the only solution for Jungkook, he couldn’t control how his heart was feeling. Jungkook’s powers were more like a curse - basically a demon was living inside him, and if he didn’t get what he needed, then the demon took control over Jungkook to get what he needed. God knew what that demon was capable of doing in that state - the first time Jungkook’s powers had showed up, a girl ended up in a hospital, being in a coma for days. The next time Jungkook had not gotten his source, his wings had showed up while he had been having sex with his one night stand - poor guy probably had gotten unconscious as well after. And now Jungkook was with Yoongi - considering how much on the edge Jungkook was dancing, he’s probably going to take more of that aura from Yoongi, so he most likely was going to end up in a similar way. Seokjin could only hope that Yoongi was not going to get hurt. With a heavy heart, Seokjin knew he had to accept the fact that there’s no other way, no other solution - at least they couldn’t find one. He had to trust Yoongi that he’s going to keep his promise.Opening the door, Seokjin bowed multiple times while he apologised as he went into the conference room and sat down onto his seat. As he put his phone onto the table, he promised himself that he’s never going to let things go this far, to end up the same way like this.
