ch3: the Date (1/1)

Hakyeon annoyingly put on a clean shirt and a pair of dark jeans; he and Leo were set up for a lunch date by their parents. And since it wasn't formal or fancy, he decided to wear dark skinny jeans for a change. He looked too much of a goody good in regular pants. Since it was public, he was sure he wouldn't panic this time.  Leo was smart and he wouldn't hurt Hakyeon in public. He knew how his attackers in high school thought. Although they were cruel, they cared about their reputation. Leo would never try anything in public so Hakyeon let his guard down slightly. It was unavoidable and he took a deep breath before stepping inside the cafe. Leo was already there, sitting at a table. He also decided to where casual clothing which made him look quite different but not any less intimidating. Hakyeon gave him a stiff smile for the sake of politeness but Leo just stared at him, waiting for him to sit down.  The menu was in front of him immediately after and Hakyeon had a chance to skim it before a waiter arrived at their table. Hakyeon ordered a chicken burger while Taekwoon ordered a pizza. Hakyeon seemed skeptical on whether he'd be able to finish it. As they waited, the was an awkward silence and none of them spoke. And obviously, it would be rude to pull out a phone at a meeting like this. Hakyeon took a deep breath before finally breaking the silence.   "I'm really sorry for the commotion I caused before; I'm sorry for freaking you out". Taekwoon looked at him and shrugged. This didn't seem to be going well. ..."Hey, surprise seeing you here!" came a familiar deep voice. Hakyeon and Taekwoon's heads spun around to see Ravi.  This time, Taekwoon finally spoke. "Ravi." Leo's shitty mood didn't seem to affect Ravi as he smile and replied, "Hey Taekwoon hyung, Hakyeon hyung. Mind if I join you?" Hakyeon pulled up a chair and shook his head no. Taekwoon would've protested but he was taken aback for a moment. "You know him?"  "Oh yeah, i only met Hakyeon hyung a while back", Ravi replied casually.  Taekwoon rolled his eyes, "I was asking Hakyeon". Hakyeon nodded, "Yeah, we've met. How else would we know each other?" "Ravi is a professional stalker; he knows everyone", Taekwoon said with such a straight face, Hakyeon didn't know what to think. Ravi laughed loudly, slapping Taekwoon's arm, "Ah! Hyung is really a comedian. I just have contacts and skills that help me get information. More of an investigator than stalker".  "Woah, that's so cool!" Hakyeon said in awe.  "That's why Leo hyung keeps me around. So how have you been?" Ravi turned to the short male. "Good, you?"  And that's how Ravi and Hakyeon's deep conversation began. Taekwoon stopped listening to their conversation and got into an even more sour mood, feeling like a damn third wheel. Finally, the food arrived and he attached himself to eat. Hakyeon's burger also arrived and only Ravi remained without food. Obviously Hakyeon couldn't really share a urged but Taekwoon had an entire pizza. Both boys looked at him and he instinctively glared and guarded his pizza.  Ravi chuckled, "It's fine; nobody can keep Leo hyung from food. I'll order a spaghetti dish".  Ravi was rather talkative (compared to Taekwoon) and was very kind and it was a good time spent for Hakyeon. Finally, Ravi acknowledged Leo's presence, "Hyung, are you busy after?" Taekwoon shook his head no with his cheeks puffed up with pizza.  Hakyeon almost thought it was cute.  "Great! We can drop Hakyeon hyung home!" Ravi decided. "Uh- it's alright Ravi-ah, I can go home on my own", Hakyeon said politely. Ravi Eve's him off and the three walked to Hakyeon's house.  "Thanks Ravi-ah, Taekwoon-sshi", Hakyeon bowed before going inside. ----------------------------------------------------------- The moment Hakyeon was inside, Ravi turned to Taekwoon. "Call off your engagement hyung".  Taekwoon looked at Ravi in surprise; never had anyone ordered him to do anything. This was definitely interesting. He raised a brow, "And why would I do that?"  "Hyung, I don't think Hakyeon can take what you're going to put him through. I just know it won't end well", Ravi explained as they walked back to their neighbourhood.  "Yeah well it's called getting used to things, Ravi. He can't be a little mama's boy forever. He'll deal. And why do you make me sound like Satan?" Leo rolled his eyes.  Ravi gave his friend a look, "You're with Minah, do you think it's fair for him?"  "He knows. And he can also refuse the marriage of he wishes. You really shouldn't meddle in my business Ravi", Taekwoon signalled the end of the conversation and Ravi sighed, shaking his head in sympathy.  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------well that was boring.....Hey everyone! I guess I owe y'all an explanation for suddenly starting another story outta the blue :Pso i dont have a particular plan but I just type in stories on my ipod whenever ideas come to mind so here we are :P
