Chapter 5 (1/2)

Jessica wandered in the darkness. There was fog everywhere and she couldn't make out anything.

"Jessica!" Yuri's voice called out from behind her.

The blonde whipped around.

"Yuri!! Yuri!" She called out shuffling through the darkness.

"Jessica!" Yuri sounded as though she was in pain.

No matter which way Jessica turned her voice sounded as if it were coming from behind her. The short woman run through the foggy darkness searching for her wife.

"Yuri!!! Yuri!!!!" She screamed.

Jessica's eyes snapped open. She felt an arm wrapped around her waist. She turned around and was met with Yuri's sleeping face. Jessica sighed deeply. She looked at the clock on the nightstand and saw a blob of red flashing back at her. She rubbed her eyes and the numbers cleared. 4:36am. She sighed again. Slipping out of the tanned woman's arms she went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. She sat down at the kitchen table and rested her head in her hands. The dream was getting worse. This was the first time she heard Yuri's voice and she sounded like she was scared or hurt. Jessica was relieved when she woke up and found that her wife was okay, but the dream still unnerved her. Shaking it off again she drank the water and returned to bed.

The sound of lunch trays clattering and students chatting filled the cafeteria. Krystal and the other four girls sat at a small table in the corner talking amongst themselves. Luna was going on about her singing lessons or better yet a girl in her singing lessons.

"She's such an amazing singer. I wish I had control over my vocals like her. I mean she's only 16, but she can already outsing one of the teachers." Luna exclaimed.

The other girls nodded with interest while Krystal played with her macaroni.

"Krystal, Amber told me that you're a good singer too." Hyuna said.

The almond eyed girl glared at Amber. Amber offered a slight smile.

"Yeah my parents tried to get me into it when I was younger. I stopped going to lessons years ago."

"Ohhh that's a shame. I'm sure you were a great singer. You definitely have the looks." Hyuna said while smiling cutely.

Krystal couldn't help but smile back. She stared at the slimely yellow substance on her tray as she tried to will herself not to blush at the girl's compliment. Sulli looked back and forth between the two girls with an unreadable expression.

"What else do you like to do Hyuna? Like besides dancing and rapping?" Sulli asked with a strained smile. Krystal could tell the smile was fake.

"Ummm that's it really." She answered. She looked at the ceiling and tapped the table thinking. " Sometimes I like to sketch. You know clothes and stuff, but I'm not that good at it."
