EVERYTHING?   Chapter 17 – Reality Recap: Chapter 16 – Run&Gun“What time is it now?!”“Is he coming?”“C’mon Kyung, were gonna be late.”--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THIRD PERSON POV  “Uhm, hello, excuse me, d-do you have a patient named K-Kim Jongin? He was sent here just a minute ago I guess.” Sehun stuttered as he asked the nurse. “I’ll check sir.” The nurse said as he looked through After a few seconds… “Yes, sir he’s currently in the emergency room.” The nurse informed the three. Sehun started shaking. Baekhyun holds Sehun tightly. “What’s his current condition?” Kris asked. “Based from what I heard earlier from the doctor when they brought him in, his legs were in a terrible condition, but not so terrible for him to be paralyzed.” The nurse explained. “L-legs? What? Why?” Sehun asked. “I’m not so sure sir, but I heard before he got hit, he was able to run, but not completely, sorry sir, but that’s all I know.” The nurse bowed to the three of them. “But! W-wai--” Sehun was cut off by Kris. “Thank you for the information miss. Can you tell us where the emergency room is?” Kris asked. The nurse told them the way to the emergency room. “Hyung…Hyung…H-Hyung, I-I, it’s my fault. I should’ve go with him.” Sehun cried and cried in Baekhyun’s arm. Baekhyun looked at Kris. Kris looked down. “Everything’s going to be alright, for now, it’s best that he’s alive, right?” Baekhyun said and looked at Sehun. Sehun nodded. They waited for minutes, until it turned into hours… The doctors finally went out of the emergency room. “Doctor! What happened? Is he alright?” Sehun asked right of the bat. “Are you Kim Jongin’s brother?” the doctor asked Sehun. “No, we’re his friends.” Sehun said. “Oh, where are his parents?” the doctor asked. “They’re on a business trip, it’s wrong for me to say it while they’re having those kinds of trips, they might get into an accident.” Sehun explained. The doctor nodded. “But, please call them when they got here.” The doctor said. Sehun nodded. “Ok, Mr. Kim Jongin is now safe from danger. Uhm, can I asked, if he’s a dancer or an athlete?” “Yes, sir, he’s a dancer.” Baekhyun said. Seeing Sehun is very nervous right now. “Ok, I’ll be honest the only problem is his legs, it’s severely damaged.” The doctor started. Sehun gulped and started shaking. “Is there a possibility that he can’t walk?” Kris asked. “There’s a small possibility.” The doctor said. The room fell silent. “Oh, well, that’s not the case really, the real case is that he might take a 1-2 years of rehabilitation to regain his leg strength. For him to be able to dance again, or run, or do his normal routines, he needs to take this rehabilitation. Also, if he don’t take this, he might be paralyzed.” The doctor explained. “So, in short, we just need to convince him to take the rehab?” Baekhyun asked. The doctor nodded. “Well, then, I’ll take my leave. The patient will be brought to a private room the Kim family always use in the hospital.” The doctor said. “You know the Kim family?” Sehun asked. The doctor nodded. “Boy, I am the family doctor of the Kim’s and I already called them when Jongin was brought to the hospital, and indeed they’re in a business trip and will be back immediately tonight.” The doctor said. “But, he doesn’t really like his parents.” Sehun said. “I know, but we’ve got no choice, but I see that he has good friends. Now go and see him in his room after he got transferred. He will be awake in a few hours or so.” The doctor said. “Thank you so much Doctor?” Sehun asked. “Doctor Cho, Cho Kyuhyun.” Doctor Cho said. “Thank you Doctor Cho.” The three of them bowed and went ahead. “It’s gonna be rough for you Kai-ssi.” Doctor Cho murmured. -- The three of them was waiting for Kai to wake up. Kai was full of light scratched in his face and body, but he has a lot more in the leg area, it’s full of bandages. Sehun was really depressed, seeing Kai in his most helpless case, it his first time. He doesn’t want to see it again. As they were waiting, Sehun’s phone rang.

“Hello! Sehun?”  Luhan was on the other line. “Oh, hyung, did you got there safely?” Sehun asked. “Yes, and Kyungsoo’s now sleeping. What happened?” Sehun was nervous. He started shaking again. Kris noticed and snatched Sehun’s phone away. “Hello, is this Luhan?” Kris asked. “Oh, Kris, where’s Sehun?”  Luhan asked. “He can’t explain what happened in his mental state right now, so i’ll do the explaining.” Kris said. Kris explained everything Luhan needed to know. “How should I tell Kyungsoo about this.” Luhan said. “Well, I think--” Kris was cut off. “Should I tell him?” Luhan asked. “We’ll definitely convince Jongin to take the rehab. So you all you have to do is make Kyungsoo see the world.” Kris said. “I’ll try my best. But, Kris, please take care of everything there.” Luhan asked. “Of course.” Kris said. The phone call was finished. “No one will tell Kyungsoo a thing about this.” Kris said. Both of them nodded. “We’ll make Jongin take the rehab.” Kris said. “W-what rehab?” Jongin was now awake. Everyone was shocked. “J-jongin!” Sehun ran in his side. “Where is this? Hospital?” Jongin asked. Sehun nodded. “You got into an accident.” Baekhyun said. “Hey Sehun, tell me, what’s happening? My legs, I can’t feel them.” Jongin asked turning pale. Sehun don’t know what to say. “It must be the pain killers that’s making you feel numb. It’ll wear off somehow so don’t worry.” Kris explained. Jongin nodded. The room went silent. “Ok, let me get this straight Kim Jongin. Your leg’s in a bad condition and if you don’t take rehabilitation, it will lead to you, not being able to dance, or worse walk anymore. So will you take it?” Kris asked. “Kyungsoo? Where is he?” Jongin asked. “In New York of course. What do you expect?” Kris snapped. “He didn’t come?” Jongin murmured. “What?” Kris asked. “Will it be great if I can’t walk anymore.” Jongin chuckled. “It’s just, I don’t know what to do with my life anymore.” Jongin said. Kris punched him. “You’ll take the rehab and stop being so pathetic and move on, he’s not even your boyfriend.” Kris said. “Hyung!” Sehun shouted. “No, Sehun, he’s right, Jongin ah please.” Baekhyun looked at Jongin. “Sure, whatever, I’ll take the rehab, this is the reality in the first place.” Jongin sighed and shooed the three of them away saying he wants to be alone. After a few minutes of being alone, Jongin collapsed. “Ahhhh! AHHH!” He was screaming silently. He was holding his legs very tight, because it was very painful. The medicine wear off a long time now and he was just holding himself not to cry infront of everyone. -- Sehun was stricken, to see Jongin weeping silently like that by himself. The three of them haven’t left, they stayed and slightly opened the door to see what Jongin was up to. “It’ll be rough for him.” Kris said.      Two years later, what will happen...? “Luhan hyung! I have a doctor’s appointment today, I’ll leave the keys here!
