The 9th Star of Ascencion once again brought the house down with their songs. They have been gaining popularity ever since Ash Veara joined their band. "Hey Ash, nice job! You were great out there." Cody was surprised with what he actually said. "Thanks Cody, but I think I need to do much better next time." Ash knew that Cody was just saying things. "If you can. I think this is your best performance yet. Well we need to get going. You have to attend your classes this Wednesday." Cody was a little hesitant when he spoke. "Yeah. I'm actually excited". "Hey if you happen to meet new chicks introduce me". Craig has been asking Ash about girls since the day he knew Ash knew a lot. "If I can Craig." "Thanks". The night seemed long for Ash. He had never been that wild in a concert before. But to his surprise, he didn't even know he broke his sticks at the end of their last song. He's been working hard to meed Cody's expectations. And everytime he improves, Cody's expectations become higher."Hey Kaizer, can you play Blink Of An Eye for me?". "Got it Cody". Cody has been bossy lately. And it pisses the others. Ever since Ash performed double peds he acted as though he is the boss and anyone who disobeys him will be kicked out of the band. And when he heard that Ash will be gone for a while, he began doing strange things. He destroyed two lead guitars and smashed his bass guitar after their concert at Amway Arena. It was an implication that Cody didn't want Ash to leave.The next concert is in Staples Center at Los Angeles. Famous bands will be there and The 9th Star of Ascencion will have the chance to perform with them. It will be three days from now and Ash has been anxious because he has only five days left before he returns to the Philippines and continue his studies. "Ash is everything alright?". James was concerned about Ash. Because Ash was the youngest in the group. "Not really James. I've been wondering what would be the reaction of my friends when I return home." "Just relax. They know you're famous so it will be just the same. They will ask all kinds of stuff." "I hope not. I've been saying the same answers over and over again." "Just answer their questions. Now go to sleep. You need to rest. We have a big concert in two days." "Got it"."Hey James, don't you think this kid is forcing himself to please Cody?". "I know Craig. But he's just doing it to stay in the band". James was worried about what Ash has been doing. He has been going over the limit and his body is fatigued after the concert. But he hid it from Cody because Cody would only give him lectures. All that Ash wanted to do was to do his best and be at the top of the world's Best Drummers List.
