Stupidity and Pride, Chapter 6: A deal with a devilSchool seemed different the following day. Hana kept mouthing 'what happened' to you, referring to you and Taemin walking to school together. Girls kept giving you death glares after seeing you with Taemin and you couldn't help but also notice Minho's constant weird gazes. I just gave Taemin a love letter and they are all looking at me like I'm a murderer. Then, break time came. Hana immediately approached you as students left the classroom.''What happened?'' she asked.''Can I have a conversation with her?'' Minho suddenly emerged.''Su-sure.'' Hana sounded hesitant, but agreed nonetheless. That was how much she liked Minho.After her permission, Minho grabbed your hand and walked away, pulling you with him. The students in the hallways noticed the interlocked hands and whispered to each other.''Look at that girl. First Taemin. Now Minho. What a slut!'' Said one of the girls. You wanted to cry on the spot, unable to bear the unkind comments aimed at you. ''Don't mind them,'' he comforted.''Where are you taking me?'' you asked, resisting the urge to cry.''Somewhere,'' he aswered. The whispers stopped after Minho shot them death glares.You didn't want to go with him, but had no choice. His grip on your hand would only tighten whenever you tried prying away from him. ''Can you just stop struggling?'' Minho asked, clearly annoyed. The two of you were walking to an empty hallway. ''Why can't you just let me go and leave me alone?'' you snapped.''We're here.'' he said, opening a door.You were in the school library. The library was always empty during lunch and break periods.''Why did you bring me here?'' you asked, eyeing him, suspiciously.''I'm offering you a deal. A good deal,'' he answered with his signature smile.''What kind of deal?'' you asked. You had no idea what or why, but something just gave you a bad feeling about where this conversation was heading. ''I won't tell Taemin anything about the letter, but you have to follow my rules,'' he began. The smile on his face transformed into a malevolent smirk.''How did you know about the letter?!'' ''Well, some idiot made an idiotic mistake. The idiot placed something idiotic in the wrong bag. Taemin will avoid you if he finds out that you like him," the smirk on his face grew.''And why is that?'' ''He doesn't like hurting his best friends' friends. If you don't want to be hurt, you better not tell him your feelings,'' he answered.''Okay, I won't tell him then. Thanks for the warning. Give me back my letter,'' you said, laying a hand in front of him.''If you follow my rules,'' he said as he shoved your hand away.''What rules?'' you asked incredulous and nervous. In your eyes at that moment he resembled none other than the Devil himself, which scared you a lot.''First, no questioning nor 'buts'. Second, you'll do whatever I say," he started counting his fingers. He looked like a kid right then and there.''Bu-'' his rules were just too much. It didn't even sound like rules. It was more like making you a personal slave.''First rule, NO BUTS! Where were we?..............Second, you'll do whatever I say. Third, you'll be my girlfriend,'' he continued.This is really too much! What does girlfriend have to do with anything?! Is he messing with me?!''What-'' you were interrupted, again.''No questioning!'' he yelled. You were silent at once, his booming voice sending you uncomfortable shivers. ''Fourth, I'm allowed to add rules as much as I want,'' he smiled.Smile at me like that again and I will really punch the crap out of you! You're giving me a headache! ''That's not fair! I have no choice. If I don't agree, I'll suffer. If I agree, I'll suffer. What's the difference?!'' you replied.''Well, there's a better option.'' he said.''But-''''Let's make it simple. Do want Taemin to avoid you or not?''''Okay, fine! I agree!'' you sighed. Taemin avoiding you was the last thing you wanted.''Good!'' He clapped. ''I swear you'll never regret your choice.''Ha. I'm regretting it right now.''And don't forget.
