Fever and a complicated m (1/1)

Soo Hyk's POVI took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. Did I went too far? Did I scare her? It felt so good to finally hold her like I wanted to that I was barely able to control myself when we kissed. It felt wonderful, like a man holding a woman not a dongseng with his noona. Nope I dont regret it....I dont regret kissing her. I think with this I will make her realise that I am a man too. I have feelings and I have always been wanting to show her my heart. Nope I dont regret it at all....but why do I feel worried?Author's POV As she step into her apartment...Athenna felt like the weight on her shoulders lifted. Her nerves calm again now that she is in her sanctuary. This is the most peaceful place fo her. Its her parents last gift for her and in here she felt like they were with her, protecting her, looking over her. She proceeded to take off her dress and hang it. Next, off went her earrings, shoes and other accessories. She than went to the bathroom and clean her face before indulging herself with a refreshing shower. Once done feeling alive again, she grabbed her most comfortable track pants and black wife beater. With her hair still wet, she went to the kitchen and made herself a mug of latte. She knew its late but she needed the coffee tonight. She grabbed her phone to call Daniel. "Its me. Where are you guys?" She asked once Daniel picked up. "Well hello Ms Young CEO of the year. Where are you? We are waiting for you here" Daniel answered. "Ahh...I forgot. I'm sorry but I went straight home from the event" Athenna said. Daniel knew something is wrong. She can tell from her friend's voice that something is not quite right with her friend. "You ok? Do you need us to come over?" Daniel asked. "Yep...am okay dont worry. Just a little tired. You dont mind right if I dont join you guys tonight? Say hi to Minjung Oppa for me please" Athenna said. Daniel was worried but she figured her friend needed sometime alone and so she didnt push it...yet. "Its okay. Maybe you are just tired from the travelling still. Take a rest okay. We'll see you soon hon. Good night and congrats from both Kay and I" Daniel said. "Have a good evening babe. Dont party too much ok. Its still a working day tommorow" Athenna reminded them. She than washed off her unfinish coffee in the sink and went to bed. Lets sleep for now Nana. Forget everything tonight. Tommorow is soon enough to think about complicated stuffs Athenna told herself.4 am...Athenna was wheezing in her sleep. She was lost in one of her nightmares....more like memmories again. Her face was hurting. She had her hands up protecting her face from the repeated blows. Stupid bitch stupid bitch who do you think you are huh?!!! Spit was was foaming in his mouth. The monster was so angry. Her heart was in her mouth. She cant even scream and just took the blows queitly. That angered him more it seems. Than he started to kick her. She fell and she curled her body, making herself small. It was than that she jolted awake. Her breath was choppy and she had tears down her cheeks. It was hard for her to breath. Its her asthma again. She sat up and reached to the bedside table and grab her inhaler. She tried to calm her nerves, took 2 deep breath and pump her inhaler in her mouth and inhale it deeply. The wheezing stopped gradually. She got up from the bed and head towards the kitchen looking for her meds. She popped two paracetamol pills and washed it down with water. It seems she is also running a fever on top of everything else. She went to the bedroom to look for her phone. She sent an email to her PA informing her that she was taking the day off and she'll see her on Monday.  With that down she head back to the living room, lifted the window shades and sat on the comfy sofa. She wrapped herself in her warm pareo and just stared out the window. Her dream still vivid in her mind. She sigh and the tears started rolling down her cheeks slowly. Soon she started sobbing remembering the past. The blows, how much it had hurt her and the pain that no medicine, no doctor can fix remains in her heart. The long path to recovery....well at least her body healed. Even now she wondered what had set the monster off. That is what she remembers him by...a monster, her ex-husband. With that the memmories of the painful past flooded her mind. She was lost the memmory again.When the moon gives way to the sun and the sky was painted a beautiful indigo color, she finally calmed down. Finding a kind of peace in the silent dark. Thought of the past brought about the times she spent with Soo Hyuk. How he refuses to leave her side the first few hours, her friends had told her. She was of course lost in her own world then. She was kept in a drug induced coma by the doctors. How he accompanied her during her recovery times...at least whenever he has some free time in his schedule. That was the time when he was begining to make a name for himself in the fashion industry so he was booked solid. He was the 'it' model to have 'walk' by all the designers. Her friends had told her that he kept insisting to be with her with what the little free time he had. Then the thought of the kiss came flooding into her mind. Her fingers trailed softly across her lips. At first she was shocked by it. Then she begin to enjoy the feeling of his lips on her. He had kissed her softly, butterfly kisses, like he was afraid to spook her. He did it just right, like he knew that she would've bolted out of there fast if he so much as kiss her full on. At that thought she smiled to herself and sneeze....That confirms it, she is sick. Sunday 10.30am. DESIGN the 'it' restaurant.3 women and 2 toddlers are having their late breakfast in the famous restaurant, DESIGN. It is partly owned by Athenna actually. She made the investment but let the original owner run it with the expressed promise that they never reveal her investment to the general public.Kyle and Aleeya are sitting in their baby chairs enjoying their food. Their mother is talking with their 2 aunts. "Anyone talked to Nana yet?" Jay asked. Daniel, her eyes covered with her Channel sunnies, paused in the process of eating her bagel, "Nope. Last I spoke to her was on Thursday night. I called her phone on Fri to touch base but it was off. She sent me a text tho that evening saying she off her phone and that she was having fever and cold". Kay looked up than and said "Huh? Fever suddenly? Think she is tired. With all the travelling she does it's no wonder her body suddenly went bonkers." They all sighed at that. "You think something happen at the event?" Kay asked them. Daniel shake her her head but Jay remained quiet....thinking. At her contemplative silence the other 2 girls looked at her expectantly. "Spill" Daniel said. "Its probably nothing. But I was wondering if Soo Hyuk had suddenly decided that he is tired of being her dongseng. I saw him kissed her. On the mouth. An open mouth kissed. In front of God and everybody else.
