The next morning Key left for a walk in the forest on his own, with out Changmin or Yunho there, which is something that he does often. He stopped at the stream and drank some water from the stream. He went where his 4 paws would take him. He ended up at the town that the raided last night. The town was unusually quiet all except for a quickly forming crowd in front of what looked to be a podium where the mayor of the town stood a microphone projecting his voice as he spoke. “Last night, we all witnessed a nightmare that had become a reality we feared. Being attacked by these wild animals that are not from our region doesn’t make my heart rest easy but, I will make sure that this town is a safe town once more. Therefore, what we have decided is that we will send out a group of teens and young adults to go and exterminate these monsters that have disturbed the peace in this town. These people have been chosen through careful selecting. These people are….” As the mayor was reading the names Key was stunned “it’s just like the village back in the mountains I have to tell Changmin” Key said to him self as he ran back to the pack. When Key saw his brother he called out to him making the older wolf turn to see his little brother running to him in panic “Key? What’s wrong?” he asked as Key was trying to catch his breath. “hyung! The town is going to exterminate us! I heard the mayor he is sending out a group of people to get rid of us!” Key said rushed. Changmin’s eyes widened “I had a feeling this was going to happen. Follow me, Yunho-hyung found a small den that the three of us could live in” he continued leading his brother away from the main pack. They came upon a wide forest area with a little den hidden in a shaded area. Yunho came out from the den Changmin and Key made their way to him as he spoke “I told you it was abandoned. No one lives here. We’ll claim it ours.” He continued proudly. Changmin transformed into a human and sat down on the grass “yeah yeah alright you win” he said. “Well I’m going out to hunt you can stay here Key” Yunho said running off to bring back some food. Key smiled as he, too, transformed into a human and leaned against Changmin’s back. “geeze I’m beat” he said. Changmin just looked at his brother as he dozed off into dreamland. ‘I get the feeling that our trouble is only beginning’
