One night is worth the wa (1/1)

A girl was seen sneaking around a local family restaurant, her heeled boots clicking against the tar road as she tiptoed her way through the small alley, sometimes glancing around, as if looking for someone. Though her long petticoat covered her body, it still could not hide the shapely curves she worked hard to get. The knitted beanie and scarf she wore did hide her face, but her bright eyes still sparkled in the moonlight, looking ever-so-often behind her to make sure no one followed. As she walked out of the alleyway, her crouched body turned straight and she continued walking, as normally as possible, towards the family restaurant. The warm and cozy atmosphere greeted her as soon as she came in. Smiling politely towards the staff, she walked confidently towards a table - second to the back, right next to the wall. She had been here so many times that the staff shook their head at her silly smile and continued with their job. Plop! she sat down, taking the cup on the table and gulping it down - hot chocolate, her favourite."It was cold out there, right?" A melodious voice said. The girl, Lee HyunJi, finally looked at the man who sat in front of her. She smiled, "it was alright. How was work?" The man replied, telling her his worries and how tiresome it all was, but she could see it in his eyes - he loved his job more than anything.HyunJi took off her coat and scarf, rubbing her hands on the warm cup of hot chocolate as she waited for their food to arrive - he always knew what to order. Eating, laughing and exchanging stories like any normal couple. One would never think that the man who sat across from her was actually a famous kpop star. Imagine if his fans found out that they were on a date. It would be ruinous. He noticed her sudden turn of mood, reaching out to grab her hand on the table. She looked at him with a questioning look. "I'm sorry," he said, "this is all I can do right now." she shook her head, smiling, reassuring him that she was alright and that she wouldn't have it any other way. They resumed talking, random topics about her college work or his busy schedule. Finishing a round of desert, the man paid and the couple left the restaurant, hand in hand. She wore her scarf to hide half of her face while he wore a mask and some fake glasses. They went on a walk down a road where people seldom go to, a comfortable silence enveloped them as they walk hand in hand. They reached a cliff, and a snow covered bench sat not too far from the railed edge. He patted the snow away with his gloved hands before gesturing her to sit. She smiled, pulling him close as they sat next to each other."I miss you." She suddenly confessed. He looked into her eyes that reflected his own face, a face filled with guilt. "I miss you too - I'm sorr--" She shook her head and cut him off, saying that it was okay and that she understood. He held her close, an arm around her as he tucked her into his strong chest. "Soon." He only said this one word, but she smiled, understanding his meaning. She looked at the stars, enjoying his embrace. This is what she yearned for, no hectic work to keep them apart, or nosy friends who pry into their lives. Just them, on the bench, watching the starlight shine. They might only meet one night, but this one night was worth the wait.
