PART 4-6      The food was tasteless, but it was better than nothing. He was not sure what he was currently eating, but it looked like some potatoes mash and... meat ? He could not be sure, because it felt too much like rubber under his teeth, but it was still edible. At least he hoped. He did not want to get sick because of the damn food.As always, the inmates surrounding him were in some kind of permanent daze. Some looked more severe than others, but they all looked gone in some way, and despite appreciating the peacefulness this ward was offering, he did not want to stay longer than necessary. Even if worse was certainly waiting for him in his cellblock. How he hated when he was feeling that fucked.      After being walked back to his room, he lay down in bed and dozed off. He could never relax completely and startled awake more than once, but when hours passed by and no real noise came to his ears, he eventually managed some rest.He did not care how long he would sleep. He just needed to sleep and relax, because he was too damn tensed and his head was pounding horribly.       The soft knock on his door was not loud enough for him to hear it, so when he felt a hand on his shoulder he jolted awake, hit the arm away from him and jumped out of bed, away from his assailant.“Easy man.” Smiled in surprise the male nurse. “I'm just here to take you to the therapist.”Minwoo stared a second at the man then relaxed. He was suddenly feeling so stupid for reacting like this, and with the nurse's eyes now on him -and his hand on his baton in case he would be a threat-, he could not help feel exposed.“You okay ?” Asked the man as he walked with him out of the room.“Fine.” Growled back Minwoo before following the nurse in the corridor.“You look tensed.” Continued the man, and glancing at the quiet Minwoo he continued. “Is something wrong.”“No.”A silence passed as they walked through corridors and up stairs.“Do you need something to relax ?” Minwoo tensed up at the only idea of taking drugs. “If I get a word to the therapist about it, he may...”“No !” He answered harshly, and the nurse eventually backed off.“Fine.” The man opened a secured door, allowed him through and followed after him.

The therapist was the same one as last time, and Minwoo hated the fact he had to sit there again. It made him feel like an idiot and worried him about spending more time than expected in this ward. He wondered how many inmates were seeing the therapist twice in little time for act of violence, and it made him fear it would be a good enough reason to keep him here.“So.” Began the man with an annoying grin. “How are you doing since last time ?”Fuck ! The guy made it sound like he was a regular, which he hated.“Fine.” He growled back with his arms crossed over his chest and eyes refusing to look at the therapist.Instead, he stared at his legs and the fabric of his white uniform. The color almost burnt his eyes, but he preferred to stare at it than the man trying to psych him.“Good.” Smiled the man. “You look tired though.” Minwoo tensed up. “Are you sleeping alright ?”“Fine.” He answered, still as unwilling to say more to this guy.“Are you sure ?”This time, Minwoo glared up at the therapist before spitting, “Yes. It was just a couple rough days, I'll be fine.”The man stared back in his eyes and made him uncomfortable. He hated the fact it was like this guy could see through him, and averting his gaze, he growled inwardly before resuming the staring of his uniform.“I heard you attacked your cellmate.”Stiffening, Minwoo was not sure why he felt so bad about the incident. He was never one to have such conscious problems, but he could not deny he felt guilty for attacking the kid like that. He could have killed Luis, and he rather not think about it.“I didn't mean to.” He mumbled back. The therapist tilted his head on the side and asked, “Why did you attack him ?”“I...” He was not sure what to answer and did not want to answer anyway. Therefore, he pursed his lips and stayed quiet.“Minwoo. I asked you a question. We already went through this, and if you want to go back to your cell you better answer me.” The man did not sound threatening, just... patient. Like an adult trying to convince a stubborn, immature child to do something they were judging necessary.Minwoo hated the guy for that.“What do you want me to say ?” He snapped back, glaring up at the man. “I didn't mean to attack him, it was a mistake.”“I heard that. But what I want to know now is, why did you feel the need to use violence against your cellmate.”“I don't know.” He grumbled back with a shrug of his shoulder and eyes fixed on his legs.“You don't know ?”“No. I don't know.” He sent a glare at the therapist before looking away again. “I was having a rough night and... I don't know, it happened.”The therapist stared at him before saying, “Those kind of stuffs doesn't just happen. Something generate them, which is what I would like to know.”Minwoo scoffed, “Well, it makes two of us.”A silence floated in the room before the therapist resumed, “Well. Can we talk about this night then ?”“What do ya wanna talk about ? There's nothing to say 'bout it.”Minwoo was stubborn, but the man was too, “Well. Let's just try.”Pursing his lips and tensing up slightly, Minwoo felt a wave of annoyance arose inside him. He would not jump at the man for being such an asshole to him, but he was feeling the need to.“Okay. So, what were you doing before attacking your cellmate.”Minwoo did not want to answer but knew perfectly it would not help him, “Drinking.” He grumbled back lowly.“Drinking ?”“Yes. Drinking. I was thirsty, why ? You've got a problem with that ?” He was getting aggressive and knew it was in hope the guy would just back off and leave him alone.“Of course not.” Smiled back the therapist calmly. “Let's continue.”Fuck ! He was feeling like this cession would never end and it enraged him slowly.“So you were drinking.” He said, scribbling something down. “What happened after that ?”“I don't know.” He answered unwillingly. “I was at the sink then I was being dragged out of my cell. I don't know what happened.”The man observed him for a moment before saying, “So what you're telling me is you don't remember what happened.”Minwoo was not sure if he was supposed to confirm that and shrugged, nodded slowly.“I don't know. Maybe. I mean...” Fuck, he was feeling like paddling in mud. “No, I... Fuck ! Why do you fucking care anyway ? Luis said it was okay, you interviewed my counselor too. What the hell do you need more ?”The therapist stared at him, “I need to know if you could represent a danger to other inmates in general population. And for that, I need you to tell me what really happened for you to lose it this night.”Minwoo hated the man. He sincerely hated him and wanted to kill him.“I already told you what happened.”“Bullshit. You told me you weren't remembering.”Minwoo glared at the man and decided from this point to stay quiet. He hated when people were pushing so hard to get what they wanted from him, and he hated even more this guy for coercing him like that. What the hell did he need to know anyway ? There was people worse than him in his block. Fuck ! Miles was a sick bastard but was a free man. Why the fuck people could not just leave him alone ?“Are you playing the silent card on me now ?” Asked the man calmly after five minutes passed without a word. “Minwoo.” He sighed before shaking his head softly. “You won't get anywhere with this. I already told you the Warden needed an evaluation to take you back in general pop, but if you don't talk I can't give him that.”Minwoo refused to acknowledge the man and glared at the floor.“Fine.” The therapist sounded slightly irritated as he wrote something down. “I'll prescribe you some tranquilizers.”“What ? Why ?” Snapped back Minwoo. The man looked up at him and stared for a second, “You look like you need it.”“What ? Are you fucking kidding me ? I don't need your shit.”“I can't get anything out of you, and I can't risk you hurting others. From what I could figure with the little information I could get on you, I'll say tranquilizers are required.”“Are you fucking... You perfectly know I won't hurt anyone.”“Won't you ?” He shot back with a raised brow, and Minwoo had to grit his teeth and clench his fists in growing anger. “You've been transferred in this ward twice already for violent assaults. I can't guarantee the safety of my staff and patients with you around.”“So what ? You want to drug me because I didn't want to answer your damn questions ?”“No.” Answered the man before tearing a page. “I'm putting you under tranquilizers because I don't want any troubles.” He pressed a button and the door opened soon after. “You may want to start the treatment right now.” He said to the nurse to who he handed the prescription. “I'll watch it on the way back.” He warned and Minwoo felt like punching the man.“Come on.” Spoke the male nurse with a tug on Minwoo's arm.Standing up unwillingly, he glared some more at the therapist before following the nurse out of the room.

It was quiet on the way back, and when they neared the pharmacy’s corner, Minwoo tensed up. He did not want to take any kind of drugs, but he had no way to avoid it either. He could not risk causing any more troubles. The therapist would end up thinking his place was in the psych ward, and it would be so much worse than these damn tranquilizers he was supposed to take.“Open up !” Said the nurse once he had swallowed the pills, and glaring at the man, he did as told and moved his tongue around to show the man he was not planning to spill back the med once in his room. “Good. Let's go.” Smiled the man before walking him back to his room.      Once alone, he sat on his bed and sighed. This cession with the therapist had exhausted him somehow, and now he had this worry of tranquilizers did not help. How was he supposed to avoid taking it ? How could he fool the staff with so many experience ? Was it even possible to not take the med in this place ? He did not want to believe he had no other choice than become one of these zombies. He could not accept it.Fuck ! The drug was eventually working and making him particularly drowsy. He did not want to sleep again, but he soon found himself laying in bed with his eyes closed.Another déjà-vu scene (?) but you'll notice this time things didn't really go like the first time ^^Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and will anticipate the ones to come (even if I've yet to write them xD ^^" -gotta work on them-).
