“Hello Nick?” she was torn between answering and having a conversation.“Tiffany..” he breathed. Deep inside, Tiffany knew what that tone meant, it was how Nichkhun used to call her when they were still together.“Nichkhun, what do you want?” she tried to sound impatient hoping the other line would drop the call.“Tiffany we need to talk.” Her heart started beating faster.“We-we are talking right now Nick. Is there something wrong? Wh-what’s going on?”“No. No. No! Tiffany, no! We need to see each other. Tiffany you’re living a lie! Don’t marry him! You’re not happy!” his words were sharp and straight to the point/“What!? Nichkhun what is wrong with you?! We’re not seeing each other, we’re not going to talk anywhere but on the phone! Nick can you explain what’s going on?!” her anger built hearing those words from her ex.“Tiffany I still love you! Get away from him, come back to me! Tiffany I can’t live without you. Please just give me another chance, let me prove it to you.”“Well you must have thought of that before doing something foolish! I’m sorry Nichkhun, I don’t have any feelings for you. I’m with Siwon now, I’m happy with him and there’s no way I’m breaking the engagement for a coward like you. I’m sorry Nichkhun, I have to end this call, and please, don’t bother calling again. Please.”“Tiffany, I—“Before he could utter a word again, Tiffany hung up and went inside Siwon’s room. She massaged her temples knowing how heated the phone call was. Nichkhun must be crazy, but Tiffany didn’t want to recall him again. A weakling who didn’t stood up for her back when they were still together. She was too hurt, and now that she found her life saver, she can never give him up again.Tiffany plopped herself on the couch and switched the TV on, out of nowhere Siwon popped out bringing two cups of tea with him.“So, did the girls give you a headache?” Siwon chuckled. Tiffany just focused on the TV with her blank face.“Two things, either they did too much aegyo or they asked you to bring lots of food from here.” Siwon handed her the cup of tea he made. Grinning at his lovely wife to be who obviously went out of her mood with a phone call.“Come here.” Siwon invited her into his arms that the lady did not think twice about crashing into. They stayed like that for a while, enjoying each other’s presence. It has been very busy for the both of them since the engagement and time alone like this is too precious.“So, when do you want to get married?” he asked, intertwining his fingers to hers. Tiffany stopped at the question realizing that Siwon was asking him about their marriage plans.“What? You didn’t say yes just for the heck of it right? You said yes because you want to get married. With me.” he stated in his dreamy tone. Tiffany smiled to herself, it was only a few days ago when the girls told her about asking Siwon on marriage plans and just like that he opened up the topic. As if he was reading her mind.“What if I say tomorrow.” She tested his guts while letting out those pretty eye smiles.“Arasso. I’ll drive you to the nearest church and marry you.” He playfully took one of his rings and slid it onto her finger.  “And you’re eager to do a shotgun wedding eh?” Tiffany got her hands off his touch.“Shotgun, because you tugged my heart.” His cheesy words made Tiffany’s fingers curl.“Aish! Stop with those words!” she protested and threw a pillow on his face.“Why? Are we not even allowed to flirt with one another? Come on. It’s too late to bail out because you’re Choi Siwon’s.” he caught her by the waist and hugged her frame on top of his.“You’re too possessive and we’re not even official yet!”  she gawked at him.“We’re going to make it official. So, tell me when?” he rested his chin on her small shoulders, adoring the beautiful lady in his arms.“Um, I think next year would be cool. Besides, we can’t really hurry. Schedules are tight.” Tiffany answered. Although she wanted an earlier date, she had to consider her and Siwon’s career. They can’t just let the group be like that and the transition period has to be smooth.“Hmm, okay. What date next year? Do you have something in mind?”“I don’t know, maybe summer next year?” points clueless.“Summer? Isn’t it too hot to wear tux?” he flushed trying to mock her.“Yah! I thought I was going to decide!” Tiffany smacked his head away from her sight.“Just kidding hon. You’re still that hot Tiffany I know.” He stuck up his nose to her neck.“Mwo? Hot? Your perv side is dominating again! Stop toying with me Choi Siwon!” his to-be husband acted like he can’t wait for wedding night and showed that manly side of his who wants her to-be wife right now.“Yeah, hot tempered. Hot headed. Hot hmmm…” he giggles in his deep voice. Tiffany leads him with a kiss that he never dared to refuse. Siwon was thinking he turned her on with his seductive words not until the lady bit his lower lip.“Aw! What was that for?!”“Hope that turns you off mister perv. I’m going back to bed. Good night!” and she left the room swiftly without giving Siwon any chance to snatch her back.Someone’s getting impatient though.***“So, did he say anything while you guys were on vacation?” Jessica asked from across the table. They were having lunch along with Hyoyeon and Taeyeon after their rehearsals.“He asked me when I want it…” Tiffany coyly replies.“The what?!” Taeyeon gasped.“The wedding you byun!” Tiffany almost whacked her friend’s head for thinking such.“Sorry. So what did you say?” she soothed her arms where Tiffany’s slap landed.“I said next year.”“Then? What else?” Hyoyeon countered.“That’s it.” She continues to munch on her pasta.“What! Seriously you bought that!” this time it was Jessica’s turn to whack her in the head.“Ugh! Is he serious? He should be leading you, not you leading him!” Hyoyeon hissed at disappointed tone at Tiffany, while she just shrugged her shoulders. She doesn’t want to rush Siwon into details, and she believes that Siwon is responsible enough to plan everything.In the middle of their girl talk, Tiffany’s phone rang.“Hi baby, doing something today? I need you to meet a certain person.” the man on the other line asked, his voice a bit raspy.“Huh? I-uh, I’m out with the girls right now. I don’t know if we’ll finish early because we’re having lunch.” Everyone heard Tiffany and like spies they tried to eavesdrop on the lover’s conversation.“Oh, where? Can I just pass by for a while? I really need you to meet him.”  Tiffany can sense the eagerness in his voice. She can also feel the girls’ getting their ears next to hers and playfully pushed them away.“O-Okay hun, send me a message when you’re here.” She didn’t want to get into details especially now that these pricks are snooping on her.“Alright baby, take care. I love you.”  He said.“You too. Drive safely okay? I love you.” Then she hung up and the girls acted out like nothing happened.“He’s coming over?” Jessica smiled cheekily.“He’s bringing someone over.” Tiffany said.“Omo! This is it, the girl at the bar right?” Hyoyeon gulped remembering that incident.“It’s not a girl, it’s a guy.”“Maybe it’s the boyfriend of the girl at the bar?” Jessica laughed at her silly idea but Tiffany glared at her. She just went on to the business of consuming her juice.“OMG Tiff maybe it’s his lawyer!” Taeyeon stood up from her seat, everyone almost looking at her weirdly.“Eh? What for?” Tiffany pulled Taeyeon down.“Nothing, a lawyer just sounds intimidating. Hehe” then she giggles.“You prick Kim Taeyeon!”***“So you’ll meet him somewhere over there, while we look over here. Get it Hwang?” Jessica straightened their plans, to spy on their lovely to-be wedded friends. “I can’t believe I’m letting you guys spy on me.” She sighs. The three pushed her to the spot where she was supposed to wait. A little later, they saw Siwon with a guy almost his height approaching Tiffany.“Hey, where are the girls?” Siwon kissed her cheek as soon as she saw her.“Oh, um, they are, out shopping and um, I just happen to go for a short while here.” She smiles, like there was nothing wrong.“Alright then, I don’t want you to be disturbed of your bonding time. I just need you to meet him.” A guy wearing a white polo shirt and thick black rimmed glasses stepped up next to Siwon.“Tiff, this is Jujin, our wedding planner.” Siwon introduced.“Hello Miss Tiffany. Nice to finally meet you. Congratulations on your engagement with Mister Choi.” The man bows in front of her, but Tiffany went speechless.“Tiff? Hey, are you okay? Jujin says hi.” Siwon nudged her elbows, and then Tiffany shook her head then nodded.“Uh, yeah yes. Um, thank you. N-Nice to meet you too.” She smiles, unsure if it was all happening. She almost believed the girls but Siwon never fails to surprise him the last minute.“Well, now since you’re familiar with each other’s faces, we will be going. I need Jujin to sign some papers in the office. I’ll fetch you later okay baby?” he places a kiss on her cheek, but Tiffany was still unfazed. She acted like she met someone in her dreams, like it was so surreal.“A wedding planner. Uh, it’s real.” She muttered under her breath.“What? Tiffany? Sure you’re alright?” the two men gazed at her curiously.“Oh. Yes, yes. Um, you guys go ahead. I-I’m sorry if I can’t stay long, but the next time I promise.” She gains back her composure.“Yeah, you and Jujin will be spending time together since you’ll choose on what you want for our wedding.” Siwon chuckled.“So who was it?” Jessica inquired as soon as she got back from their spot.“He’s handsome by the way, is he single?” Hyoyeon dreamily wondered.“Yah! Miyoung Hwang!” Taeyeon returned the smack Tiffany gave her earlier because the girl was still in a daze.“It’s our wedding planner. That guy. Is out wedding planner.” She smiles still can’t believe that she’s getting married soon.***“I bought you your favorite cheeseburger for dinner.” Tiffany hands Siwon a brown paper bag as they both entered Siwon’s apartment.“Baby, you’re always ruining my diet.” He toyed and grabbed her hand to pull her close and own her lips this time.“I love to ruin it for you.” She pecks his pointed nose and drags him to the kitchen.“Hon, dad has a dinner party with his company and his friends next week. I was wondering if you could go with me as a date.” Siwon asked while Tiffany busily fed him with his favorite burger.“You know why I don’t like posh parties, mostly if it’s about business. People talk about their business as if they were gathered in a large office.” She playfully mocks how business people acted during parties. Siwon giggled at her and pulled her close to him.“Come on. I’ll be there with you. Besides, I will formally introduce you as my fiancée. To dad’s friends, please? For me?” he pulls out an aegyo that was handsomely unattractive, but Tiffany found it otherwise charming.“Okay.” Tiffany finally agreed on his little request, somehow, she felt special when Siwon mentioned that she will be introduced as his fiancée.***“Ugh, seriously, this tie is pissing me off!” Siwon was fidgeting on his bowtie for half an hour. Tiffany watched him as he amusingly struggled, she couldn’t take the poor sight of her boyfriend anymore, she walked to him and gently fixed his tie on him.“There. You’re getting married yet you don’t know how to fix a tie. You look handsome by the way.” She mocks and left a kiss on his cheek as compensation.“You too. You look stunning.” Siwon pulled her and tasted her cherry lips before they head out.They entered a large hall filled with men in their black and women in their elegant dresses. Tiffany was nicely dressed for the occasion, yet she made sure she won’t be the center of attraction that’s why she picked a simple pink dress for the night. That moment, she and Siwon complimented well together. Like a fairy tale come true.People greeted Siwon here and there, he seems to be pretty known among his father’s colleagues, but every time a new person approaches, Siwon never failed to introduce Tiffany as his lovely wife to be. Of course, she had to smile and pay her respects for most of the people were in their late forties.An hour was spent for just meeting and greeting random people. Tiffany lost count how many she met and their names, but Siwon seemed to be good at this. After all, he was his father’s apprentice in running the family business since he was the only boy heir in the clan.“Good evening Director Park.” Siwon greeted yet another man who looked in his late fifties, while sporting his tux and a thinly rimmed eye glasses.“Oh, Siwon my boy. You have grown up so well.” The man tapped Siwon in the shoulder for a number of times while chuckling.“By the way, I’d like you to meet my fiancée, Tiffany Hwang.” Tiffany glanced at the man Siwon introduced to her. She gave out a warm smile and the man did the same.“Nice to finally meet you. Kiho has been saying many good things about you. Siwon is a perfect guy, you’re in good hands with him. I wish my daughter could marry him but too bad he’s already engaged.” The man commented, Siwon just laughed off the old man’s comment but he observed that it made the woman beside him a bit uneasy.“Did that made you uncomfy hon?” Siwon walked Tiffany to the garden, away from the swathe of people inside the hall.“Umm.”“Hey, he was just kidding. Don’t mind him, alright baby?” his face was centimeters away from her again. Tiffany just nodded but Siwon continued to near his face on hers until they were literally feeling their hot breaths. His eyes were locked to hers, examining the piece of beauty in front of him right now. Tiffany closed her eyes and felt Siwon’s lips meet hers. In a snap, her worries were taken away by Siwon’s affectionate gestures.“Do you want to go back inside?” Siwon asked as they parted. Tiffany shook her head. Right now she just wants to be with him under the beautiful night sky.“Okay, I’ll just get us a glass of wine inside. Hmkay?” he caressed her cheeks and left a kiss as if he was to leave for long.Tiffany felt a cold breeze pass by the garden. She shuddered, regretting the idea of wearing a relatively sleeveless dress for the night. Then she remembered Siwon, she should borrow his jacket or else she’ll freeze if the cold wind continues to blow.She was enjoying her little quiet time under the shine of the stars and the moon. The scene was blissful and she cannot wait to share that wonderful scene with Siwon. Her lonesomeness was disturbed when her phone inside her purse vibrated. Tiffany took it out and saw an unknown number sent her a message.“Don’t pretend you’re happy with him. Don’t waste another second. Don’t wait for me to get you back, because I know your heart still beats for my undying love.”The message read. Tiffany looked around and saw a man standing by his car on the other far side of the garden. The man was also wearing a suit and seems like he came from the party too, but when Tiffany stood up to take a good look at him, the man went inside the car and drove away. --------------------------------------A/N: TIFFHANGER.
