Meant For You (1/1)

“I love you Tiffany, I love you so much.” He muttered not letting go of her. His tears were evident, Siwon can’t help himself from tearing up. It was a moment that he would never expect to happen. It was actually happening, he is going to spend the rest of his life with the only girl he ever loved, Tiffany.“I love you Siwon, sorry if I was unable to say yes, I’m so speechless.” The cameras focused on them and Tiffany was burying her face in his embrace. She can’t believe that things she read on books and watched in movies actually happened. She never asked for anything but to be with Siwon and this time it was a hundred times lovelier with this man. They had their own world for a while. But of course all of this wouldn’t be possible without the help of their good bandmates.“Congratulations Siwon and Tiffany!” they were holding a ridiculous banner while being party animals. They too swooned with this fairytale love story inside their company.  Some can’t help but tear up, the most obvious ones were the leaders, Leeteuk and Taeyeon. Seeing how both of their members grow up and now actually will be writing their own piece of heaven on Earth. The next day, news spread like wildfire. Comments here and there, some say it was of the wrong timing, the two of them were at the peak of their career while some said Siwon just had to do it, because letting go of someone like Tiffany would be a waste and the same goes for her. As he was seated in the back of the van, he rerun the scenes from last night. How fast time flies and he has a fiancée already, a bigger responsibility. A new life rather than a new burden. The press just couldn’t wait, packs of them swarmed the entrance of the airport and huddled in circles as they see the SMTown convoy. He opens the door and he was greeted by a stunning number of reporters eager to get a quote or two from him. “Was last night for a stage only? Is it true?” “Is Tiffany pregnant?” “Is Super Junior disbanding?” “Is it true that there’s a conflict between you and a member?”Even though the silliest questions these reporters try to connect with what happened last night. Siwon found it ridiculous, if not, very, very shallow, as much as possible he avoided to give a word or two. The Super Junior managers had a hard time assisting the boys inside the airport lobby because of the thicket of reporters and fans.In a flash, the media crew finally let go of Siwon and made him enter the terminal in peace. But that was not really the story, these media people saw another group coming and this time their target is the protagonist of this real life romance, Tiffany.Siwon averted his eyes outside and saw Tiffany being bombarded with questions and harassed to make a comment or two. He wanted to play prince charming but the public display of affection won’t help for now. Instead, Siwon continued along with his group but was worrying dead for her.‘Whoa that was crazy.’ Tiffany thought to herself as the airport security banned the media from coming inside the terminal. “Tiffany? You okay?” Taeyeon who was beside her saw the irritation in her face dealing with nosy people.“I’m alright.” She smiled. Being the princess could be difficult, it gathered attention she was not ready for.***“Wear something nice tonight, I’ll pick you up at seven.” A familiar voice whispered to Tiffany. She turned around and saw Siwon pushing his cart away from her like nothing happened. Maybe it was he didn’t want the press to speculate. They arrived in Seoul and as expected, the overseas event made noise back home. This time, it was the unusual mixture of reporters and emotional fans. The groups’ managers called in for added security. Things started to get ugly inside the Incheon terminal as everyone tried to get a glimpse or a word with their newly engaged oppa and noona. “Oppa why did you do this to me?”  “Siwon oppa you do not belong to her!” It was not hidden in Tiffany’s sight that there were some fans of her dear Wonnie who got so sensitive. She saw a fangirl tearing up as she saw Tiffany’s face. Siwon who was watching her back, kept up with her pace and escorted his girlfriend out.“Don’t mind them okay? Don’t listen, stick close to me. Don’t say anything, I’ll handle this.” Siwon mustered to protect his only girl. She nodded meekly and let Siwon be her knight in shining armor for that day. “Did the company agree of your wedding?” “Whose band is disbanding?” “What about your fans?” It was more demanding than the series of questions earlier. Siwon breathed deeply trying to contain his temper. No matter how he wished for their relationship status to be equally private, you can’t just give up these kinds of things to the eyes of interested masses. All throughout she never left Tiffany, he knew very well that she was sensitive to these kinds of things and the last thing he would want to happen is break off the engagement because of some crazy bunch of nosy reporters.“Clear the way, Mr. Choi will be giving his statement this week but for now we ask you to respect the artists’ privacy. Thank you.” His manager spoke in a loud booming voice. “Thank you JungHoon, owe you one.” He tapped the older’s back before proceeding. The clamor caused deploying security to assist their group from the swarm of people. It was not a good thing to get engaged while you’re in spotlight, that is.***“So, do you like it?” he sat beside her holding two glasses of wine which he gave the other.“Honestly, you don’t really have to do all this. It’s too much Siwon.” She smiled awkwardly feeling stranger to the way she is treated like a princess by her own fiancé, but really, who is to blame? Siwon could only do so much for her.“It’s not bad getting used to it I think.” He sat back and Tiffany leaned on his shoulders.“I just don’t want you to get tired of me.” She chuckles while resting her head on his firm upper body.“Ani, I won’t.” he took another sip from the glass while admiring the girl in his arms. Siwon took the opportunity over dinner to ask her things about him proposing. That’s how busy they were that they didn’t get to have alone time during the tour overseas. For the fact that his insides were still jumping for joy, every word from her was still meager. Siwon wanted her to see what has completely changed in him.“It's dad's birthday next week, mind coming?” she said, he was amused how fast she could switch from one topic to another.“That is, if I’m not busy.” He teased the younger while giving a hearty chuckle.“What kind of son-in-law are you?” Tiffany gawked at him not knowing if she will be amused or annoyed.“Just kidding, it’s just I can’t help but to feel intimidated when you guys gather.” He smiled, tucking the loose strands of her hair behind her ears.“Why?” she sat straight and met his eyes.“Sometimes I feel I’m not good enough.” The smile fades as he shed out honesty in his answer.“What makes you say that? You’re my sister’s favorite, you’re the little brother Leo has never had. How could that be? You know how much effort it takes to gain my family’s trust right? You’re almost at it, but of course, dad…”“Exactly.” Siwon smiled again when he realized Tiffany was close to panic. He emptied the wine glass and set it aside.“I don’t know why after all these years I’m still afraid of your dad. Kind of unfair I think, my mom loved you from the first day she knew we were dating.” Siwon hugged his girl closer and rested his chin on her small shoulders.“Dad’s okay, he’s just a little keen on details but you will be fine with him. You’ve met him a hundred times so you’re no stranger to him anymore. You will be fine, Siwon.” She patted Siwon’s head like he was a little kid and placed a kiss on his cheeks. The lad immediately flushed to red knowing the skinship Tiffany initiated.“I love you.” These words caught her attention that Siwon just earned.“Ah, aniya, you still have a lot to prove Mr. Choi.” She valiantly provoked him, wanting to know what his reaction will be.“Don’t worry, we’ll get there.” Siwon winked and tried to act charming. He did not flinched a little with her words. Instead, he turned his head and gave her a kiss that she gladly returned.
