As he did every time he wanted to put his mind away from something, Sehun lay on the couch and grabbed a book, another thriller, of course. As Luhan had not yet come down half an hour later, he went upstairs to check on him. He was half-way up when he started to hear the music. Luhan was playing the guitar. When Sehun opened the door, however, he abruptly stopped, tapping the strings so they won't keep vibrating. "What?" he asked, bluntly. "Ummm…where do you guys keep the dog's leash?" "Living room, the third drawer on the right" Luhan said, then shooed him with a wave of his hand. Sehun went out with dog, feeling a bit dejected. So just an hour ago he wanted to kiss him, and now he kicked him out, just like that! Well, it's what I wanted, I suppose… Luhan spent the rest of the morning alone in his room, after having lunch and helping clearing up the kitchen he went back. Lan and Zhoumin had invited them to go to the mall, but Luhan had said no and Sehun wasn't feeling like shopping either, so he spent the afternoon alone with his books, wondering what could Luhan be doing up there. Was he still playing the guitar? Why couldn't he just bring it down and play near him? Sehun sighed, now feeling plainly depressed. He had said he didn't want to kiss him, not that he didn't want him to acknowledge his existence. As six o'clock, Luhan finally came down, wearing his jacket and his guitar case on his back. "Hey," he said to Luhan, beaming at him. "Hey," Sehun said, closing his book without even marking it. He had to reread the last chapter from the start anyway, since he had been reading with his eyes alone, not his mind. "Wanna come to the park?" the older boy invited. "What? Now?" Luhan nodded. Sehun peeked out the window. "But the sun will be setting in no time!" Sehun pointed. Luhan's smile widened.  "Better still" he said. "Looking for inspiration?" Sehun asked, eyeing the guitar case. "Something like that." Luhan answered, grinning. The younger boy sighed. "Ok, just let me put on something warm, it's sunny but it's freezing outside." In a couple of minutes both of them were moving down the street, heading towards the park, not far from their home. They walked silently, and Sehun felt his heart clenching, because Luhan… well, he sure had been nice to invite him to come, and all, but he kept walking ahead of him, not saying a word. Occasionally he would look behind him as if to check Sehun was still following, allowing him to see one side of his face, and he could not help but to think how beautiful he was, and how sexy he looked peeking over his jacket's collar like that. Sehun sighed. Apparently knowing Luhan had wanted him but he didn't anymore had inflamed his insides. As for Luhan, he was so nervous that he had to fight himself not to trample. Sehun looked awfully glum. What if he was mad at him from that morning? In that case, he might be about to make things worse. He was still willing to risk it, though. Sehun had never been in this park but he thought it was quite nice. It was a vast green grassed area with some trees scattered around, most of them with completely naked branches by then. There was a playground for children in its lowest part and wooden picnic tables under some of the trees. The cold kept either of them almost empty. Most people he saw around were either passing by or walking their dogs. He also spotted a small bridge in the distance and assumed it crossed some water course. "This place must be amazing during summer," Sehun said, when they had already walked through almost half of it. Luhan nodded, warming up his hands with his own breath, and then gestured Sehun to follow him up a small hill towards one of the aforementioned picnic tables. "This is my spot," Luhan said "When the weather is good, I used to come here with Krystal, I play, she sings… sometimes we earn some change like that," he told, grimacing.  "You won't have such a big audience today," Sehun pointed, straddling the bench. " I won't need them today," Luhan said, and he sat in the same bench, struggling with his case zipper before he could pull the guitar out and hold it properly, ready to play. Instead, he took a deep breath and said: "I've been making this song…" "Oh, so that's what you've been doing locked in your room all day," Sehun grumbled. Luhan nodded. "It has no lyrics yet," he added "I'm not very good at that, I might have to ask for Krystal's help later. Anyway… if I play it to you, would tell me what you think of it?" "Yeah sure," Sehun said, shrugging. And then, after another deep breath, Luhan started playing. Following the short intro, he began singing and humming the "no lyrics" melody over the chords. Sehun was surprised at finding out that he actually could sing. The music sounded quite softer than the ones the band had played in the garage, yet it had a rhythm and there was a sense of joy to it which made his heart swell. It wasn't all the music, of course. Looking at Luhan, his fringes stroking the strings, his voice, the small puffs of water vapour which flowed past his lips while he sang, it was like angels were singing or even better, all of it was keeping Sehun utterly dazed. And then it was over, the last most floating between them. Luhan raised his brows at Sehun, expectantly. "You're telling me you made this one day?" Sehun asked, doubtfully. "No, I've been drafting it in my head for some days now, only today I decided to really put my mind to it," Luhan said " So…what do you think?" "I'd totally buy it" Sehun said, in all honesty "It's very catchy." He then hummed the beginning of the chorus, which he had quite easily memorized, having Luhan meaning at him for it. "Great, because I made it for you." he said. Sehun stared at him, bewildered, rearranging at the last previous events in his mind, in bittersweet realization, not knowing what to say. "I'm naming it 'Sehunamant' " Luhan said, with a soft smile, all the nervousness gone now that Sehun was clearly not mad at him "Because it has your name on it, and it also suits you." "I'm not Sehunamant!" Sehun protested, slightly amused. "Not in general, no, but you're being quite adamant about… you know" Luhan pointed, casually stroking a string of the guitar he still cradled in his lap. This was Sehun's cue to start jabbering about how wrong that would be, but he just couldn't manage to, because Luhan was looking at him in the eyes with a hint of a smile on his lips and he had made a song for him. A song…just for him. Sehun had some girlfriends before, but none of them had ever done something this special for him, though they generally expected him to do it for them. Although he would never admit it out loud, he felt quite touched but Luhan's gesture. "This is a better tactic than jumping on, right?" Luhan asked, in a playful tone. "You tell me, did it work with your girls?" Sehun retorted, teasingly, trying to divert the subject at hand. "Since this is the first time I'm going such a thing, you have to tell me," Luhan darted back "Is it working now?" Sehun sighed heavily, now with yearning and despair fighting madly inside him. He didn't fail to notice that Luhan was leaning for him, he just didn't manage to back away, and when their lips touched, it was like everything around and inside was gone, leaving only the gentle kiss and the butterflies in his stomach behind. Luhan couldn't believe he was actually kissing Sehun. He felt like he had left earth and was now floating in outer space. His lips were too soft…. Luhan parted them using his own and rejoiced when Sehun's tongue to meet his, sliding along it. As much as he would love to hug the younger boy, to reach for his face, he was too afraid that it would scare him away somehow so, at this point, only their lips and tongues were touching. Yet, or maybe exactly because of that, this felt so hot that Luhan was already feeling his arousal press almost painfully against his jeans. Eventually, Sehun broke the kiss, and the look on his face told Luhan this might not happen again for some time. His heart clenched at the thought, but then he caught a glimpse of the tent pitched in Sehun's pants and made a grin, staring shamelessly at it. "It looks like you did like the song, hm?" he jested. Sehun's face turned red and he pulled his knees in front of him. "Well, you're actually quite good at…that." he said. "At making songs?" Luhan teased. Sehun gave him a hateful glare, which was actually not so full of hate. He dropped his head on his knees and frantically tousled his own hair in exasperation. Only by then Luhan fully realized how bad his brother was struggling with himself about this, and he felt anguished for him. He put the guitar down and gently laid his hand on Sehun's shoulder. "You're over thinking this Sehunnie…" Luhan said softly, and seriously for once. Sehun looked up with a hint of despair in his eyes. "Doesn't it bother you at all? The fact that we're brothers?" he asked, disbelievingly. Luhan shrugged. "We're not real brothers, not by blood anyway. We didn't even live like brother for the past years. Technically speaking, we're more like…..internet friends." he stated, nonchalantly. "How can you say that, like it's so simple? Don't you realize…. What would mom think if we… if she knew we… I mean, it would be bad enough if we were a boy and a girl, but like this the poor woman wouldn't even see it coming before it hits her." he said, his anxiety coursing through his word. "You….you're still my brother Luhan…." Luhan rolled his eyes. "You know what I mean… to your mom…." Luhan's eyes widened in realization. "Are you trying to say mom would think you're molesting me, or something?!" he asked, unbelievingly. The silence with which Sehun answered somehow let him know their mother might not be the only one thinking things like that way. "Sehun, are you stupid or what?" he huffed, and Sehun slightly flinched at his aggressiveness "What am I? some gullible child? I'm still older than you! and I bet I've had more pussy than you have, you book worm!" "I doubt that" Sehun mumbled. "How many then?" Luhan asked, with sudden curiosity. The younger boy rolled his eyes. "We are not having this conversation right n…." A low growl interrupted him, coming at them from downhill. They looked down to see a vicious grey monster standing there, about thirty yards away rom them. Actually is was a dog, a huge dog at that. It had the hair on its back completely spiked up, it was showing his long canines in a threatening way and it was looking directly a them. Then it arched its back, ready to plunge uphill. "Run!" All of a sudden, Luhan found himself being dragged down by Sehun along the opposite side of the small hill, thinking how crazy he was, trying to flee from an animal like that one. They could never outrun it! Nevertheless, the terrifying growl he could still hear behind him running beside Sehun as if his life depended on it, which it probably did. They vaguely heard the cries of people which paths they crossed, but the mad dog didn't seem to be interested in someone other than them. When they reaches the house blocks at the limits of the park, Luhan was reaching the limits of his energy and the dog was just behind them. Sehun led him to someone's backyard wall and jumped right up, climbing and going over it. Luhan tried to do the same but slipped half-way and ended up hanging outside of the wall by his upper arms. His heart stopped and he cried out when he felt the jaws of the beast close around his foot in a powerful grip. From the inside, Sehun managed to grab him under his arms and struggled to hoist him over the wall. Luhan's shoe was left in the dog's moth when they both fell down on the unknown backyard under the astonished gaze of an old man who was on his chaise longue with a newspaper on his hands. While sprawled like that in the grass, both of them panting hard, Sehun managed to mutter: "Luhan…I think there might be…someone out there…very pissed at you."       ~
