When Push Comes to Shove (1/1)
At Milk's suggestion that they do something to help Aaron out, Chiao's face lit up and a small but definite smirk appeared. She made eye contact with Milk, who still had her hands on Aaron's shoulders. Aaron caught Milk starting to smile out of the corner of her eye and she directed her attention to the blonde girl on her other side. Her eyes grew wider."..No.. no no no nononono!! What are you thinking? Stop scheming right now!!" Aaron pleaded. "Jin!! Do something!!!"Jin was still watching her friends' faces and in response, just held her hands up and shrugged. "Hey, leave me out of this. I'm just going to watch."Chiao and Milk both grinned wider at Jin and Aaron's opposing reactions. "We aren't scheming, we're just... going to help you get started," Milk bit her lip and knew that her pal Chiao would have the perfect plan. "Yeah. Scheming sounds so bad, Aaron. I'm just going to ... scope out the situation," Chiao stood up and gestured for Milk to move the panicky girl out of her path. Too much in shock at the impending doom she felt coming at her, Aaron was easily pulled out of the other girl's way. "Ohmigod," Aaron mumbled as she watched Chiao leisurely stroll around the dance floor, heading straight for the new girl. "Milk! She can't just. I won't-- What if she's hardcore into femme girls?! What if she's offended? Or taken?! What is Chiao doing?! Ohmigod ohmigod." Aaron's forehead met with the table for a fraction of a second, before she jerked her head back up to watch Chiao's "plan" roll forth.Unexpectedly, she saw her new eye candy stand up from her table. The girl was headed back toward the dance floor as Chiao was rounding the corner of it. Missing her chance to snoop by just a few seconds, Chiao redirected her course back to her friends. "Chiao!" Aaron forced through her teeth. "Stay here, or you're going to give me a heart attack. You can't just barge in on a stranger's table!! You got lucky. Now sit!!" She leaned over and yanked Chiao down next to Milk. "Hey! I'm not a dog. And I didn't even do anything. She's back on the dance floor now, so maybe you should go dance with her. This gives you the perfect opportunity." The blonde smoothed out her shirt and stood up again. "Come on, Milk. Let's take Aaron dancing." That smirk graced her features yet again. "You guys are ridiculous. But good luck! I'll cheer for you from the sidelines, ZiLun." Jin returned her focus to her phone. Sometimes her friends were such teenagers. Milk took the cue and hoisted Aaron up reluctantly. Keeping the bewildered girl in between them, Milk and Chiao half pushed, half carried Aaron toward the dance floor. She eventually gave up resisting since she didn't want to draw attention to herself. As they joined themselves with the mass of pulsating bodies and waving arms, Aaron spotted her heartthrob again and her knees went weak. Only a few feet away, she was dancing with a different girl now, so it gave Aaron hope that maybe the first chick was in fact just a friend. Before she had a chance to admire the eye candy's movements up close, she felt two sets of hands on either side of her. She saw flashes of Chiao and Milk with what she thought were evil grins, and then all she could see was a blur of body parts as those hands gave her a hard shove in the direction of her crush.
