The street is so cold and white and the snow keeps falling, covering every piece in white color. There's any soul except a faint sound of crying.     'Who am I?' a pure innocent soul asks but there's no answer. "Where are your parents, little boy?" an old man shifts his way through the snow towards the crying fragile figure. The streets were empty, it's just both of them and the silence with the soft whimpering sounds. The child is struggling to survive in the cold. There aren't clothes that are warm enough to protect the boy's little body from the cold. He's shaking, coaching and softly crying. He only wears a thin shirt, blue jeans and torn shoes, full of holes. The boy is sitting hugging his knees in order to fight the cold.    He looked up and met the man's sparkling blue eyes, remaining silent. "Well, I must go back to my antique shop."  The old man looked at the boy with a pity. "N-no" there's a soft voice stopping him. He turns around to meet the boy's almond shaped bright brown eyes staring at him 'Please, don't leave me alone'. Well well, what a challenge. "I have nowhere to go. I don't want to die from the cold, please take care of me. I'll do anything" the boy was on the edge of crying, pleading and holding the man's arm tightly. The man stroked his long white beard, sighing. "I expected that" and the boy looks at him again, giving him a confused look. "There's a contract..." the man's eyes aren't sparkling anymore. It's dark and mysterious and all the things Chanyeol is afraid from. But chanyeol wants to live. He'll sign any contract in order to live. 'I've got no choice, it's the only way I can save you boy'. Chanyeol is a brave boy; he knows it even though he is so young, twelve years old if to be exact. He had the courage to run away from the foster house three months ago, living in the streets alone. He didn't like it there, at the foster house. Children were mocking him, 'Big ears' they would call him and laugh. They kicked his waist and he cried earning another nickname 'Crybaby' he decided he wants this suffering to end. "What kind of contract?" he asked the man. They say curiosity killed the cat.  "A voodoo contract," the man broke the eye contact with the little boy and sighed, rubbing his neck. Everything is so uneasy. "Are you sure about it, young man?" he took a little piece of an old paper from his coat pocket "This is a lot of responsibility. You need to sign your full name on this paper and by that you'll live as a voodoo doll, a human voodoo doll" the boy averted his gaze to his old worn shoes as if they were the most entertaining thing in the world. "I-I'm not afraid" he then grinned at the old man. "You didn't let me finish," the man continued "Before you'll turn twenty-one you have to break the contract" the boy looked too dumbfounded, his eyes grow bigger carving for more information. "In order to break it, you have to find someone who really cares about you" Chanyeol nodded, the boy's facial expressions were kind of cute "And what if I-?" the old man interrupted, he knew what Chanyeol was about to ask "In such a case, you'll stay a voodoo doll for the rest of your life. Not a human one, like you're going to be until your 21th birthday. You're going to be a full-doll, you'll lose your humanity and I'll sell you as a voodoo doll in my antique shop". And there is a pause. Chanyeol is thinking and the old man is waiting for an answer. Hurry, hurry the weather is so cold. "I'll take that risk. It's better than dying here, at the corner of the street with no one noticing your died body." The boy smiles and the old man hands him a contract and a pen. And the boy signs 'Park Chanyeol'. Park Chanyeol is nineteen; soon going to be twenty. He finished high school with the highest grades and the beauty currently wants to help his father with his antique shop.  The old man (Who's like a father to Chanyeol. And the boy likes to call him 'gramps' just for teasing) was the one who paid for Chanyeol's studies till now and the boy is very thankful. The fragile boy is beautiful, no offence. It makes the old man wonder how the boy couldn't find someone who cares about him, m style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';font-size:11px;">poor boy. m style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';font-size:11px;">I hope you'll break the contract soon.   ______a\n:A big thank you for subscribing and commentingxie xie
