"Bum ah, why didn't you tell me that you were sick?" Jonghyun frowned, lines on his forehead becoming more evident.Kibum closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath. Slowly he counted mentally. "1.. 2.. 3.. 4.." and all the way to 10 before opening his eyes, only to increase his heartbeat once more. "Jjong ah. It's not that I'm sick.. I just," he paused before closing his eyes once more, "I'm not feeling that well.."Jonghyun watched his bestfriend walk away, not knowing what to do. He let out an audible sigh, rubbing his forehead in frustration. "Doesn't he trust me anymore?" He scolded himself, as he stomped to the kitchen, surprising the leader."Kim Jonghyun are you okay?" Jinki asked before taking another bite from his chicken wing. The latter sighed, raising both shoulders, not knowing what to answer. "It's about Kibum isn't it? Aigo, why don't you just talk to him?" Jinki putting his food down to focus on his fellow group member.Jonghyun violently nodded his head, wailing his arms everywhere. "But I did already!" he half-heartedly scream towards Jinki and his foods. "Want me to try and talk to him?" the leader smiled, tlting his head in a cute manner before gettiing up to wash his hands. Jonghyun sighed and supported his head on his hands. Kibum not talking to him, certainly does bother him..Jinki knocked lightly over Kibum's door,the latter opening it seconds after. "Oh hyung, you're here.." Kibum said before yawning. He quickly explained how he was about to sleep before the older came. Jinki bowed slightly before the door behind them."Kibum ah.. Is there anything bothering you these days?" Jinki cautiously asked before placing a hand on the younger's shoulder. Kibum was silent for awhile before sighing. "I just don't feel that well I guess.. I'm not sick, but my heart.. it feels kinda heavy recently. Am I going crazy hyung?" Kibum kept on playing with his fingers, afraid to look at the latter."Did that dinosaur do anything to you?" the leader scooted closer, wrapping an arm around the younger. Kibum shook his head lightly before looking up to the older. "But all I could think about is him, hyung. Kim Jonghyun is always bothering me up here.... and here," Kibum pointed up to his head before hesitantly tapping his chest area. "Now, now.. If you'd like, I suggest you try and stay away from him for the moment? Maybe it'll soothe your heart.." Jinki smiled and reassuringly rubbed the latter's arm. Kibum slowly nodded and smiled back at the older. "I'll try hyung, thanks a lot!" he said before hugging the leader. Jinki chuckled before getting up to leave the room.Kibum lay down and smiled wider. "Right... Maybe all I need is a good break from that dinosaur!" he whispered as he shut his eyes close.Weeks passed by and Jinki had helped Kibum in being apart from his bestfriend. At first, Kibum had thought that it finally worked. Unfortunately, every single time he looked at Jonghyun now, his heartbeat worsen. It was so much faster now that he could literally hear it. The blonde guy sighed as he lightly knocked on the leader's room door. Jinki was surprised to see a devastated looking Kibum. Both of them entered and Kibum took a seat on the bed."It is literally not working hyung. It so much worser now.." Kibum sighed audibly. The latter gently carressed the younger's hair before asking what was wrong. "I've researched about my problem. But I really don't want to believe in what I found hyung. No!" Kibum broke into tears as he covered his face in his palms. Jinki sighed and force Kibum to face him . "What happened Kibum? You know you can tell me anything. I won't ever hate you-" "I like Jonghyun."Jinki was shocked at the sudden interruption, but quickly regained his stand. "Are you really sure about this Kim Kibum?" the leader worriiedly asked. A tear trickled down as the younger nodded lightly. "I didn't realised this before but.." Kibum stopped and faced away from the older. "But what Kibum ah?" Jinki placed a hand on the latter's shoulder. Kibum took in a deep breathe as he closed his eyes shut. "I don't think this is brotherly love anymore.. I think I like him more than a best friend," Kibum bit his lips. Just then, several knocks were heard.The door opened and both of them saw a worried looking Jonghyun. "Yah! Bum ah what happened?!" the boy scrambled over to his best friend, cupping his face. "Kim Kibum, why aren't you talking to me?" Jonghyun continued.The close distance was killing Kibum. It hurts him so much to feel so guilty, for liking a guy, his own best friend. Kibum stood up, breaking free from Jonghyun's touch. "I told you, I'm not feeling well," Kibum smiled weakly and walked out of the room. Jonghyun look over to Jinki, who immediately grabbed a nearby book and pretended to read it, wanting to keep out of trouble. "Hyung! Stop avoiding me. What happened?" Jonghyun complained, trying to snap the older out of his tricks. Jinki kept hiding behind the book as he swayed left and right, avoiding the frustrated boy. "Yah!" Jonghyun screamed, and Jinki accidently threw away his book in fear. He sighed before getting off the bed. "Listen to me Kim Jonghyun. Can you do me a favour and treat Kibum like he's your princess? Maybe that'll cheer him up. Bye!" the leader said and ran out of the room. "But didn't I always treat him that way? Was it too weak?" poor Jonghyun mentally reprimanded himself as he too walked out of the room.
