[M] Let Me Teach You A Lesson (1/1)
It was a perfectly sunny California day. She rode her bike down the sunlit university roads, smiling and waving her her friends she passed. "Chey! Wait! Slow down!" the girl leaned to the side and let her foot skid against the pavement to stop her movement. She looked back and saw her best friend running towards her, clutching her books tightly against her chest. "What is it?" Chey smiled sweetly and swung her other let over the bicycle to stand on both feet. "I wanted to know if we were still on for tonight?" the girl asked excitedly. "Yes, of course Kate. Why would I cancel our bar night? I mean...come on." Chey pulled out her phone and flipped it open. "It's May 2nd, 2018. Our last exam. Our last day of senior year!" "Okay...good. See ya tonight!" Kate waved and ran off. Chey shook her head as the girl sprinted down the sidewalk. Suddenly the phone in her hand starting ringing. "Hello?" Chey pressed the phone to her ear with her shoulder and began to push her bike along the street. "Guess who's still alive!" A voice chimed. "Oh my god...is this...." Chey stopped, wearing a broad grin on her face. "It is. Not only am I alive...I'm in California...about ten minutes from your university!" "Oh my god." "Can we meet? Like...now?! I have something VERY important to tell you!" "Sure, you have anyplace in mind?" "I'm at this coffee shop...the Java Stop? Do you know where that is?" "Two minutes from my current location. I'll be right there!" Chey hung up the phone and hopped back onto her bike, peddling as fast as she could. She leaned into the handlebars and coasted down a hill where she could see the small town come into view. She rode into the parking lot of the coffee shop and jumped off, pushing the bike into a bicycle rack. She quickly chained it up and headed inside. As soon as she walked through the doors she saw who she was meeting. "Oh my...Chey!" a young woman with light brown hair stood from a table. "You're so grown up!" she ran over and hugged the girl. Chey remembered first meeting the girl years before when she was still in high school. They had been friends online for years before they finally met. "Nana!" Chey laughed. "How are you?!" "Oh, there's so much to tell you. But let me buy you a coffee or something." "Alright. Just get me a latte, I'll be sitting at the table." Chey sat down and watched as the woman ordered two coffees and brought them back. "One latte~" the woman placed the coffee on the table before Chey. "Oh my god....a ring!" Chey grabbed the woman's hand. "It's GORGEOUS." "This is the story I have to tell you, Chey. You'd never believe it." the woman pointed at the ring and sat down. "Nana~" Chey smirked and sipped her coffee. "Or...should I say...Mrs. Nana." they both laughed. "Tell me from the beginning." "Remember right before I started college I went to live in Korea for a bit to volunteer and such?" Chey nodded. "That's when I first met him. I went out to dinner once with some of my fellow volunteers...and...we kind of ran into each other, quite literally. I was going back to the bathroom, but they were all full so I waited then he came out of the bathroom and walked right into me. When I went back to my table he came up to me and started apologizing. Then he ended up sitting with us, drinking with us, eating with us...and I got his number by the end of the night. Eventually I had to come back to the states, but we kept in touch, until I went back during college. We met up again and started dating...then it led to this." "What's his name?" Chey smiled. "Remember back in the day when we were obsessed with that k-pop group...SHINee?" "Oh I remember SHINee." Chey laughed. "I still have some pictures of Taemin laying around..." "Do you remember when they broke up a few years back?" "Yeah! I followed it! Onew went against contract and eloped with some girl right?....No....NO!" Chey stood, almost knocking her coffee down. "I was only studying there for a year. He followed me back here." the woman shrugged. "So...you're engaged...to..." "Yep. I will be Mrs. Shira Lee on...October 10th." "I expect an invitation to this!" "One second." the woman pulled her phone out which was buzzing. "Hey babe....yeah...yeah almost...why? Really? Three o'clock...yeah you have time...is he home? Oh. I thought he told you to come at one. Is Mason there? He's what? .....why? He is?! For the wedding? They still talk to each other? I don't know....I figured they were done....yeah. Your what? Tuxedo? It should be hanging in the hotel room's closet. Yeah I brought it to a cleaner here. Tomorrow at five. What? Let me talk to him..." Shira took the phone away from her face. "Sorry! I'll explain once I yell at this idiot." Chey nodded and sat back. "You! Ya! No I didn't pick him up from the airport! Mason was supposed to! What? Jinki did? That's why he missed it! Why didn't you, what were you doing this morning? Why aren't you taking care of your own damn dog? You had to meet with who? You picked him up? I thought they came together. No...here's what you do Jonghyun. You go to the fucking groomer and pick up your damn dog. You go tell Mason to find Taemin. What? Taemin's in your hotel room? Where are you and Jinki then? Why? Okay. Bye." Shira looked up and smiled while putting her phone on the table. "I'll tell you why I'm here, dear. Kim Kibum aka Key, you remember him right? Of course you do. Well he's getting married to this surfer dude named Mason, total sweetie but also a total push over. So now all of SHINee is coming for the wedding. Here's the thing. Key supported Onew when he decided to...you know....Taemin did as well. However Jonghyun really really didn't like it and broke communication off from everyone, even Key...which is why I'm surprised he actually showed up." "What about Minho?" Chey leaned in. "Minho? Oh...he had a shit load of contracts waiting for him, you saw right? He just kept on flying. I don't think he likes me much though. And Jonghyun really doesn't like me. Anyway...Mason was supposed to pick Taemin and Minho up from the airport this morning because they were supposed to be on the same flight. Apparently they weren't...Jonghyun made Mason go take Roo to the groomer...and made Jinki go pick up Taemin. But Jonghyun picked up Minho...ugh. This is a mess." "It's okay! It's not your wedding so you shouldn't have to worry." "I owe Kibum my life, to be honest. I'm trying to make this the best day for him." "Hey, I'm sure it will work out great. Hey, Nana I gotta run. I have my final exam in an hour so I have to get ready. Call me tomorrow!" Chey stood up and hugged her friend tightly. "Alright babe. Hey, maybe you could go to lunch with Jinki and me tomorrow. Hey, I'll even throw Taemin into the deal." Shira winked. "It's a deal." Chey laughed. _________________________________________________________________________________________ "I actually think I did really well on that." Chey sank into her seat and looked up at the dim lamps. "Same! Hey, girl...we're done." Kate raised her cocktail. "Done!" Chey sat up and clinked her margarita with Kate's. They both took a long sip from their drinks. Chey lowered her glass to see a tall man sitting down at the table beside theirs. She blinked her eyes and stared at his face. "Hey...he looks familiar." she stared at the man's stubbly jaw and dark eyes. "Hey, is he in our seminar?" Kate tilted her head to the side. "No, no. He's not...I don't think he even attends our school..." "What do you have on tap?" the man asked the waiter who stood by his table. "He does look familiar." Kate leaned in. "Let me think..." "...Lee Taemin." Chey said with wide eyes. "What?" Kate laughed. "Chey..." "It's very possible! He's here in California right now!" "How do you know this...?" "Shira! She's in California, for...." she didn't know how much she should just blurt out in a bar. "Let me just try....if he's not...I'll say I'm drunk." "Fine, fine do as you please." Kate shook her head. "Excuse me." Chey turned to the man who looked up from his phone. "Hey." his eyes sparkled as he gave a gentle smirk. "This might sound crazy...maybe I'm a little drunk too but...are you...SHINee's Lee Taemin?" Chey felt her cheeks heat up. "You recognize me?" He leaned towards her and laughed. "After all these years? I haven't done anything public since SHINee broke up!" "Well...you still look like Taemin." Chey smiled. "Hey, its been so long since a fan has said hi...you are..a fan..right?" he blushed slightly. "Yes! I was once a total fangirl for SHINee!" "Hey, can we merge our tables?" Taemin raised an eyebrow. "Of course." Chey nodded and looked over at Kate who's jaw was practically hitting the table. "What are your names?" "I'm Cheyenne, but you can call me Chey." "Kate." "Nice to meet you. Oh boy. I need my beer, where is it?" Taemin turned around to find his waiter. "Stressed?" Chey sipped her drink. "How could you tell?" Taemin grinned and picked some peanuts from the small bowl on his table. "It's Key, you remember him?" "Yeah, of course." Chey nodded. "He's getting married on Saturday...it's hell though. Total hell." the waiter came and placed a tall glass of icy beer before Taemin. "Yes! Alcohol!" he picked it up and started chugging it. "Slow down." Kate shook her head. "Sorry. Oh god, I need to get drunk." "Chey..." Kate looked at her friend. "Jonghyun is being a total prick about everything. Ever since Jinki fucked up. Yeah, I mean I supported him and all, but really. Our leader...but she's nice. I like her a lot. But Jonghyun almost put a poster of her face on his door to play darts with, that's how much he hates this girl. He kind of grabbed Minho and ran. Of course Minho didn't stay on Jonghyun's side, no. Minho came running back to me, like he always did." Taemin drank down the rest of his beer. "Waiter! One more! Where was I...oh yeah. So now, Kibum's freaking out, cause you know, he had to invite Jonghyun to his wedding and all, but he was praying he wouldn't come. But holy shit, he's here! He's in California right now! I hope he doesn't get drunk because he will fuck things up badly. Oh god, where's my beer." Taemin looked around and popped more peanuts into his mouth. "I think...you should avoid Jonghyun then if he's being such a...dick." Chey said calmly. "Oh hell I will. I want to make sure he doesn't try and throw anyone off the roof. I don't think he likes Mason either, that's Kibum's fiancee. I think Jonghyun wants that guy dead. I'm afraid to go back to the hotel..." the waiter brought over another beer. "Oh perfect." he started drinking again. "Really, Taemin. You'll get sick." Chey reached out. "Hey! My beer." Taemin stuck his tongue out. This boy cannot hold his liquor... "Alright....just...be mindful." "Hey, Chey is it?" Taemin lowered his eyelids. "Can I go home with you tonight? Please. I can't go back to the hotel. I can't face any of them. Not even Minho. I haven't seen him in a year. I don't really want to see him." "Uhm...I think it's better if-" "I go with you. Okay, thanks sweety. You're a life saver." He leaned forward and grabbed Chey's hand. "Chey, I have to head out." Kate stood. "Don't leave me...." Chey whined. "I'm going." Kate winked and scurried away. "Let's get out of here too, babe." Taemin tugged Chey's arm. "Hey, hey!" she pulled her hand back. "Get a hold of yourself!" "I'm fine. Let's go. It's too hot in here." Taemin stood up. Chey left a bill on the table and grabbed onto Taemin's arm. "You're cute." "You're drunk." Chey pulled him out of the bar. "I'm taking you back to your hotel. Where are you staying?" "With you." he giggled. "I cannot allow that..." "Why not? I thought you were a fan." "Taemin..." "Come on babe." "Come on." Chey pulled Taemin down the sidewalk towards her apartment. "But you're getting on my couch and you're sleeping. That's it." "That's it." Taemin promised. They walked slowly to Chey's apartment. She used most of her energy to hold the tall man up. "Home." Chey pushed her front door open. "Home." Taemin repeated and walked in. "Now go to sleep." Chey pointed at the couch as she shut the door. "But..." Taemin straightened his posture and closed his eyes, his lips curling into a smirk. "...Chey, Chey, Chey..." "Excuse me?" the girl turned around to find Taemin towering over her. "You should think more." Taemin put a hand on her shoulder and slowly pushed her back to the couch. "I'm not drunk..." "Wait..." "You shouldn't let a stranger just come home with you from the bar..." he pushed her down onto the cushions and jumped on top of her. "Taemin! Stop." Chey looked around. "Don't you want me to kiss you?" he whispered in her ear. "Haven't you dreamed of this for the past 6 years or so?" "Not like this...I'm an adult now! That was when I was a girl!" "Come on, Chey." he ran his fingers over her cheek. "What the hell." she whispered. "Now that's what I'm talking about." Taemin chuckled and pressed his lips against hers while sliding a hand down her body. "Mmm you taste like margarita." "You taste like beer." Chey said. "I don't like beer." "You will soon." he leaned down again and pushed his tongue into her mouth, playing around with her. "You know, I knew you were here before you told me." Chey smiled as she leaned her head back letting Taemin kiss her neck. "Really? Do you stalk me?" he ran his tongue down to the base of her neck. "No. My friend told me." "Does she stalk me?" He pulled Chey's shirt above her head and continued nipping at her soft skin. "No she doesn't stalk you. She knows you." "You're friends with someone I know?" he lifted his head. "Yes. Odd, isn't it?" she laughed. "Who is she?" Taemin lowered back down and ran his lips down to her breasts. "Shira." "Jinki's fiancee?" he looked up at Chey's face. "Mhmm." "How do you know her?" "Long story." Chey grinned. "Let's not talk about them though." "I agree." Taemin came back up and locked lips with her once again while lowering a hand to her pant button. "Aish..." he bit his lip as he attempted to unbutton her jeans. "Need help?" "No!" he yanked at the button and it came loose. "There." he smiled and pulled her jeans down. "Can I?" he looked sweetly into her eyes. She nodded and ran her fingers through his silky hair. Taemin pressed his lips against the girl's navel and slowly dragged the kisses down. He gently rubbed his fingers against her panties. He pulled the frilly garment down her legs before returning his fingers to her entrance, rubbing softly. The girl arched her back and closed her eyes as she felt an overwhelming heat take over her body. He slowly inserted a finger into her when he felt she was ready. He looked up at her to make sure he wasn't hurting her, but he assumed she had done this before. He added another finger and heard soft moans escape the girl's lips. Taemin slowly withdrew his fingers and unbuttoned his pants with one hand while ripping his shirt off with the other. "Okay babe." he whispered as he slowly pushed himself into her. "Oh god." Chey turned her head. "Fuck yeah." Taemin laughed as he turned the girl's head and kissed her lips. He bit his lip harshly as he moved in and out of her. She wrapped her arms around him and moved her hips with his movements. She felt her stomach churn as an overwhelming sensation filled her core. "T-Taemin.." she exhaled against his neck. "God damn." he closed his eyes tightly as her walls contracted around him. He quickly pulled out and spilled his seed on the floor. "Oh fuck me!" he glared down at the mess. "I just did." Chey winked and sat up, looking down at the carpet. "I'm sorry." "I'll get the cleaning fluid." Chey stood and stretched her arms out. "Hey...would you want to...go to the wedding with me, maybe?" "I thought this was a one night stand." Chey pulled a bottle from the cabinet. "You thought wrong." he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. ________________________________________________________________________________ "Wow I can't believe Kibum is a married man." Taemin raised his glass. "You all knew it would happen." Kibum laughed and kissed his new husband. "We got a problem!" Minho ran up to the table. "What is it?" Kibum glared up at him. "Our old manager is here." "That's a problem?" Kibum took a sip of his wine. "Key, stay here. Taemin we need your help." Minho grabbed Taemin's hand and pulled him to his feet. "You too." Minho looked at Chey. She nodded and stood, running after the boys. "It's been years!" Jinki screamed and his former manager. "Why do you even care anymore?! It's my life! I didn't want that anymore so I left it! Come on honey." he grabbed Shira's hand and pulled her away. "Don't you walk away from me!" the manager called out. "Just save this please manager-sshi." Minho tried to reason. "It's a happy day!" "Manager-sshi!" a voice boomed. "Leave us alone!" "Jonghyun?" Taemin blinked. "Just let us be for now on. What's done is done." Jonghyun sighed. "Goodbye." "Jonghyun..." Minho looked stunned. "I'll be at the table..." Chey said into Taemin's ear before turning around and running back to the party. "Shira!" "Hey!" the girls hugged. "You look gorgeous." Chey smiled. "You as well.." "Hey...am I mistaken...but...remember when you used to write fanfiction?" "Yeah, what about it?" "Didn't you write something...very similar to everything that's happened in the past few days?" "I don't remember..." "I swear you did..."
