[M] Thank You, For Nothing (1/1)
Dear to whomever reads this, My name is Kim Jaejoong. I rent a three-bedroom flat in this dingy, cold apartment. I rarely go outside. Some would say that it is a dull, lonely life or call me a social hermit, but I don’t like people’s company. Not recently, anyway. I never understand people; going about their lives without a care in the world. Always smiling, something that I have long forgotten how to do. I only trust my precious cats and I am going to miss them dearly. But they will understand, like they always have. Jiji stays by my side and watches me intently, almost as if she knew what I was planning. For that reason, I swallowed a whole bunch of pills an hour ago. They’re completely legal, of course. My doctor prescribed them to me for my insomnia. But I have taken twenty-eight of them, all I could find in my medicine cabinet. Now, the room around me starts to spin in a blurry fashion and my heartbeats start to get slower. Any minute now, I will be dead and this worthless life will be over. I feel serene and ready for it to happen. I’ve got one last thing to say now as I draw my last few breaths. Thank you, for nothing. Goodbye.
