And here's the double update I promised before^^____________ My breath hitched in surprise as my hand stopped in mid-air; I winced at the strong grip around my wrist and glanced up at his face incredulously. I froze; my body wouldn't obey any commands to move even the slightest muscle. Two deep pools of black held my gaze, drawing me in like the Sirens of Anthemoessa. Endless oceans...Galaxies of forgotten stars...The burned out stars of the past...shining their light for eons and then suddenly vanishing... But no one noticed; no one cared. There will always be more stars to replace them, to take over their glow and carry on their duties. People just carried on with their hectic lives taking in only the beauty of the twinkling gems; not one of them stopped to think. They merely accepted the myth that the stars have always been there and will continue to light up their lives for eternity.Lies.Each star is a living being, one that twinkles like life and then fades like death...only to be forgotten as the next comes to outshine its glow. Every single one of those dying stars sought refuge in those black orbs. I couldn't deny it; they were...Mesmerizing...I couldn't look away no matter how hard I tried, no matter how hard I fought against the spell of those two windows of the galaxies beyond. They were so deep, neverending. Swirls of emotions twisted in thin, colourful ropes, swimming in the depths of the dark, star-speckled space. It seemed all of his feelings were harboured in his eyes, never reaching the rest of his visage.Only his eyes depicted life...Life, in the body of an undead creature. But the only feelings that I saw inhabiting the pools were those of hardship, fear, and sadness. I searched in those depths, seeking answers; each coloured string told a different tale, speaking in only the language of emotions. I could sense everything that's happened to him, even if I didn't know anything about the being. For the time being, all the thoughts of revenge abandoned me, leaving me to deal with the situation on my own...leaving me at the mercy of his eyes.Myungsoo slowly sat up, eyes never leaving mine and locked in an intense staredown. I tried to back away, but he kept a firm grip on my wrist. I wasn't scared during the fight against the hunters; I wasn't scared sneaking into this mansion; I was damn scared as hell now. A firey light ignited in the depths of his liquid black eyes, a searing flame in the midst of a dark cage. It looked menacing.My heart raced in my chest; I needed to get away. He regarded me with daggers for eyes, a dangerous aura lingering around his figure... With just the change in his eyes, he went from an innocent yet captivating young man to a formidable beast in mere seconds. His facial expression remained the same: stoic and unemotional as ever.But his eyes...Pulling me closer, he leaned in and whispered into my ear in his silky voice,"So...you've found me..." I started shaking as memories of my turning flooded back into my head. The same voice in my ear...Racing through the moonlit forest...Trying to run away...The curved claws of outreaching tree branches scratching at my face...Uplifted roots grabbing at my feet...The constant swishing behind me... The feeling of being hunted... "What are you afraid of...?" he breathed and I had enough. I struggled, bringing my free hand, clench in a tight fist, colliding with the side of his face. I heard a bone-chilling crack before a searing pain shot up my wrist, pulling a whimper from my lips. Myungsoo chuckled. "Not as easy as it seems, is it?" Before I knew it, my back had hit the soft mattress and he was hovering over me, eyes flashing red. No. They were glowing.He trailed his cold finger tips along the side of my neck, just above the large vein that resided there. My eyes widened."No..." I croaked and thrashed about frantically. I was not going to let that happen again. "You're just wasting your strength," he stated simply, leaning down and coming face to face with my neck. Trailing his tongue along the blood vessel, he smirked. "Since the night I turned you...I have been craving this blood..." I twisted the dagger around in my hand and tried to stab his wrist, but he ripped the weapon from my fingers and threw it across the room before locking my wrists in his vice grip, refraining any more attempts at escape. "You are such a naive little girl, coming here on your own with the belief that I would let you kill me... This is your punishment." I screamed as his fangs punctured my neck, drawing out waves after waves of deep red liquid, filling the room with the scent of fresh blood. Rivers of scarlet dripped onto the comforter, melding with the black silk.It hurt...Tsunamis of fiery pain wracked my every muscle...I whimpered as he drank from my neck once more. I would die fighting... Heh, who was I kidding? I didn't know how to fight. I could barely keep up with my senses, let alone use them to my advantage in a conflict. I wasn't experience in the ways of the night world.And I thought I could win...Myungsoo was right... I was a fool...Lita... Forgive me...Darkness enveloped me like the wings of an angel, or in this case...a devil. Myungsoo POV: I detached my fangs from her neck and licked the wounds closed again. Smirking in satisfaction, I stood up and wiped the scarlet from my lips. My thirst was finally quenched and my headache long gone. I looked at the smear of blood on my hand and narrowed my eyes. There was no way I was going to let those bastards get their hands on this blood, especially now that I see what it can also do for me. A small smile tugged at the corner of my lips...I picked up her limp body and swung it over my shoulder. I stepped out of my room and walked down the hall. The maids and servants watched me in confusion, but held their tongues, bowing respectfully when I passed. I ignored them as usual and stopped at one particlar door at the other end of the mansion. Wrenching open the door, I made my way down the eroding stone steps.The dungeon was empty save for the little critters that decided to invade the place and construct their homes. I never had use for it; none of my victims ever lasted more than a day or two as I was constantly in need of blood. Placing her on he ground at the far end, I shackled her wrists to the wall with the holy iron cuffs. I stepped back."This will be your new home. Get used to it." I turned and made my way back to my room, bolting the door shut after I had slipped through.  Linh POV: My eyelids fluttered like butterfly wings before fully opening to allow my eyes to take in my surroundings. The first thing I noticed was that I sat on a cold, stone floor. The second thing that came to my acknowledgement was that my wrists were bound to the wall with cuffs I could not break. A musty smell drifted up my nose and I made a face. Where the hell was I?! I tried to recall what happened, but the only thing I could remember was a flaming pain in my neck and then everything was black. A small, barred window stood as a reminder of the outside world, one that I was no longer free to roam. The sky was dark. I cocked my head to the side in confusion. Had I only been unconscious for a few minutes? I swallowed nervously and only then did I become aware of how dry my throat was.Not again...I groaned in frustration. Was there one day where my body didn't think of blood? I was sick of this desire to feast, to hunt, to kill. I wanted it to end.My head snapped up at a loud click coming from the door of the dungeon. It creaked open and let the damn vampire into the room, carrying a canteen in his hand. His emotionless expression was plastered on his pale face as usual. He made his way over to me and knelt down."Well, you've finally decided to wake up, Sleeping Beauty?" he said, a small smirk entering his cold visage. I pressed my back as far as it could against the wall, seeking comfort in the ancient, forgotten stone; I avoided eye contact. I didn't want to experience that feeling again...Having no control..."You've slept for five days," he said. "Look at me." I refused and earned a harsh slap across the face, leaving a burn on my cheek. Still, I made no move to obey. He opened the canteen and let the scent wander to my senses. I could feel my pupils dilate and hear my throat scream.Blood..."Five days without blood and at the mercy of a newborn's thirst...I'm sure you're hungry, right?" he asked. I forced myself to turn away from the scent, but it overpowered my control. My fangs shot out from their confinement, puncturing my lips and my eyes burned a firey red.
