Chapter One :2 Years Later“ Eomma, we talked about this before.” Minho said, focusing on his workMrs. Choi sighed, “Minho-ah, don’t you ever have a thought of marriage?”Minho stayed quiet still, not wanting to say a word.“ It’s been 2 years since that, Minho. You should move on.” Mrs. Choi said, “not every girls is as bitchy as Soojung”Minho flinched as his mom mentioned that name, Jung Soojung.The name of his ex–fiancée , the girl that broke his heart 2 years ago“ Eomma, you know I’ll find one when I want.” Minho said trying to reassure his mom“ That’s what you’ve been saying for the past 2 years, Minho” she sighed, “since your answer is still that, I’m putting you into an arranged marriage.”Minho’s eyes widened, “Bu—““ No buts.” Mrs. Choi said standing up, “you’ll meet her next week, that’s the final.”Mrs. Choi took her purse and quit his officeMinho sighed and buried his head into his palmsHis phone rung, and he looked at the caller IDHe picked it up and immediately stood up, “Mr. Kim, I’ll be there soon”----------------“ Excuse me, Mrs. Jang” Jinri said as she approached the reception desk“ Miss Jinri? You’re back!” a half-aged woman said smiling warmly at Jinri“ Ne” Jinri said smiling, “Are my parents available? I mean, are they having meeting or going out?” she asked“ I’ll check their schedule first..” she said as she looked at her computer screen, “they’re available for now, but they’ll have meeting in 20 minutes.” Mrs. Jang answered“ Arasseo, I’m going to my parents now. Gomawo, Mrs. Jang” Jinri said smiling and bowed at herShe walked into the elevator, and pressed the 10th floor, where her parents office were.As the elevator went up, she stared at Seoul’s scenery, since the elevator was made of glass.She smiled, she had missed Seoul so bad, it’s been 3 years since she went away from here.“ I must’ve missed a lot of things” she thought as the elevator dinged, signaling that she’s arrived.She stepped out the elevator and walked towards the room where her parents wereShe knocked the door softly, and heard a faint voice from inside“ Come in.”She slowly twisted the doorknob and peeked her head inside“ Excuse me, Mr. and Mrs. Kim” she said, making her parents immediately looked up from the documents“ Kim Jinri!” Mrs. Kim gleefully yelled and run towards her beloved daughterMr. Kim smiled and followed behind, “Aigoo, why didn’t you tell us?”“ I wanted to surprise you two” she grinned happily, kissing their cheeks“ Who picked you up?” Mr. Kim asked, cocking up an eyebrow“ Taemin oppa did” she answered“ Aigoo, are you two-““ Eomma, stop it, he’s married with Soojung already” Jinri bitterly smile, remembering how Taemin left her that day.Jinri blinked away the tears, what the hell was she thinking?“ Mianhae jinnie-ah” Mrs. Kim said sighing, hugging her daughter“ It’s okay, eomma” she said, “at least he’s happy now.”-------------Jinri left after meeting her parents, Victoria, Amber and Luna called her to meet up at Victoria’s home.She texted Amber, saying she was on her way, while walking out of the elevatorAbruptly, she accidentally bumped on someone, causing her purse to fellShe sighed and was about to bent down when suddenly the guy handed her the purse“ Mianhae” a deep voice saidShe looked up at the guy, “No, I’m sorry. I was the one who’s not looking”She gave him her beautiful smile, that cause Minho’s heart to skip a beat.“ And thank you for picking this up” Jinri said taking her purse backShe turn around and walked awayMinho stayed froze still on his place, watching her back slowly disappearMinho feels his heartbeat increased as his mind replayed the scene earlierNo girl ever made his heart beat this fast.. except Soojung.The thought of Soojung made him snap out of the thought, he quickly scurried off to the elevator and pressed the button.-----------Minho slowly enters Mr. Kim’s office, he closed the door and approached his desk“ Annyeonghaseyo, Mr. Kim” He bowed at Mr. KimMr. Kim nodded and flashed him a warm smile, “Take a seat, Minho-ssi”Minho pulled out the chair in front of his table and took a seat, “My secretary is taking the documents, so please wait for a while”Minho nodded and smiled small, his eyes scanned through the room, and he found a picture of Mr. and Mrs. Kim with their kids.“Who’s that girl beside Heechul hyung?” he wondered as he stared at the picture“ Do you know her, Minho-ssi?” Mr. Kim suddenly broke the silence, causing Minho to jump a little“ A-aniyo..” Minho stuttered, “I just bumped at her earlier, who is she?”“ She’s my daughter, Heechul’s little sister, Kim Jinri” Mr. Kim said smiling -----------
