My Star Jtanwarat 20310K 2023-11-02

“(Y/N)-ah! Wake up, you lazy girl!” A boy’s voice shouted in front of your door, followed by a knocking marathon. You flipped on your tummy and put your pillow over your head.     “The holiday is over! You wouldn’t want to be late on your first day of the last year, right?”     Of course, it’s the new academic year. You ducked under you blanket, trying to get back to sleep.     “Okay, you leave me no choice. Don’t blame me on this later on” he hesitated “I’m coming in” announced the boy outside.     Wait a minute, your door was locked and he wouldn’t possibly have a key, so how would he come in if he didn’t…     You got up and ran to the door as fast as you could at the thought and pulled open the door. Youngjae ran shoulder-first inside with all his energy and, with shocking expression on his face, fell to the floor. It got you laughing.     “Ya!” He looked up at you, stroking the shoulder that just collided with the floor a moment ago.     You shrugged. “You know I can’t let you break my door, Oppa. I don’t have the money to pay your mother for it” You offered him a hand but he shoved it away and got up by himself.     “Now that you’re awake, get yourself ready. We’re leaving in five minutes” he ordered and trampled out of your room, pretending to be angry. You smiled at his childishness.     “Oppa! You’re angry?” you shouted after him.     “Get into the shower!” he shouted back.     Three years ago, you moved into Seoul so you could attend the school that granted you a scholarship. However, the scholarship didn’t provide you a place to live and your family couldn’t afford moving to Seoul. Therefore, you had to find yourself a room and ended up renting one in Youngjae’s house.     After fifteen minutes of speed showering and dressing up, you ran down the stairs and saw Youngjae leaning against the kitchen’s door frame with crossed arms. He mouthed you ‘Quickly’ and you stuck your tongue out as a reply. Suddenly, you stumbled over the last step and fell. At the corner of your eyes, you caught Youngjae running toward you but he stopped on his way like he recalled something and let you fell to the ground. He walked to you and stuck his tongue out. His revenge succeeded.     “Ah, Oppa~!” you shouted and took off running after him who was already running.     “(Y/N)-ah! Aren’t you going to eat your breakfast?” Youngjae’s mother shouted from the kitchen.     “No, Thank you, Ahjumma” You turned around and quickly bowed at her. Youngjae jumped at the opportunity and rode away on his bike.     “Eat something anyways! You shouldn’t miss out on your breakfast!” she ordered.     “Nae~!” you answered. “Oppa! Are you going to let me walk to school?” you shouted after Youngjae. He stopped and turned around.     “Promise not to revenge me, first” You hesitated. “I’m going~” he threatened     “Okay, okay. I’m not going to make you pay. Now, let me get on the bike”     “You gave me your word. Don’t take it back~” he reminded you as you got on the bike. But as soon as he took off, you hit his shoulder, the one that hit the floor earlier.     “Ya!” he cried, “You promised!”     “I didn’t revenge you. I just teased you” you made an excuse.     “Alright, then I’m just teasing you, too” he said and picked up the speed then started riding the bike in a scary way. You automatically put your arms around his waist.     “What are you two doing?!” a husky voice shouted from behind. Both of you turned around and found Yongguk riding a bike alongside with Himchan. You took your arms back instantly.     “I told you there’s something suspicious about these two” Himchan told Yongguk.     “Hyung! You know I like someone else” Youngjae reminded him.     “Right, I forgot” Himchan said, “You are gonna confess today, aren’t you?”     “He has been practicing for, like, hours every night all holidays” you told the Oppas. Youngjae blushed.     “I didn’t” he denied.     “I heard you in the shower” you insisted and the two Oppas laughed.       Yongguk and Himchan parted when you all reached the college. They were both sophomores. Youngjae dropped you out at the junior high, where you were attending your last year, and then he headed for the high school, where he was attending his last year, too.      You were walking sleepily to the building when a tall boy skateboarded past you. It was Junhong, your first year classmate. He braked the board and rode it back to you.      “Hey, lazy. Heard we’re in the same class this year” he said.      “Hope not. I’m so sick of your face already” you replied kiddingly. He had been hanging out at Youngjae’s house ever since you moved in and that made you two real close.      “Me, too. See you in class” he smiled and saluted at you. You saluted back just before he rode ahead.     Ten minutes later you reached your class and found Junhong playing with his friends at the back. You walked up to your friends who saved you a seat. And just like that, the day began.
