Shopping with a Guy is no (1/2)
L.Joe leaned back on the sofa and watched you twirl around in a light blue dress. He smiled when he saw you frown at your reflection in the mirror.
"It's a pretty color," he said.
"That's what you said about the last four dresses," you stuck your tongue out at him and then returned to inspecting the dress you were wearing.
L.Joe shrugged. "I'm not good at this kind of thing. My stylists just give me what to wear and I wear it. Luckily, I can pull off anything," he smirked.
You rolled your eyes and walked towards the aisle for prom dresses. You picked a lavander colored one out and then walked into the dressing room.
Pretty sure you can pull off anything too, ~~~~, L.Joe thought to himself. You walked out after a few minutes and fumbled with the dress. The color was beautiful and it was a perfect fit. *It's cheap too. Maybe I should get this.*
"Hey oppa, what do you think about this one?" You looked up at him for his answer. L.Joe was no longer sitting down on the couch but was now standing with widened eyes.
You blinked. "W-what...I'll pick another one if you don't like it." You started to walk past him to choose another dress but he grabbed your wrist. He shook his head and looked you in the eyes. "It's perfect."
You blushed and looked away. "I'll get this one then," you mumbled, removing his hand from your wrist. *Remember, ~~~~, you can't be with him.*
L.Joe put a hand through his hair and sat back down on the couch, embarrassed by his own actions. He coughed awkwardly and nodded at you.
When you purchased the dress, the two of you headed to the shoe store to buy matching shoes. You told L.Joe to wait for him at the park near the store but he insisted on going with you.
"I'm afraid Vicky noona might do something if I don't watch over you."
"Sure she will," you said, sarcastically but you left it at that so in the end he walked into the shoe store with you.
L.Joe cooly leaned against the wall as you roamed around the store for some heels.
"Are you looking for something in particular?" A young woman asked, approaching you. She looked familiar but you were pretty sure this was the first time you saw her. You nodded. "I want shoes that match this dress." You showed her the dress and she smiled.
"Is it for prom? How exciting!" She beamed, as she lead you through the heels section. "I wish I had a sister that I could go shopping for prom with but nope my parents decided to give me an annoying younger brother," she frowned. You chuckled. She scanned one of the aisles and took out some silver heels. "Try these," she said, handing them to you.
"You're a senior right? My brother is probably the same age as you," she said as she watched you put on the shoes. You nodded and then stood up, testing them out.
She clapped her hands. "These are perfect for you! But I think this size is a little small." You bit your lip. "If you don't have my size, I can manage with these. I love these."
The woman shook her hands. "Oh no, don't worry about it. We might have some in your size in the backroom. Wait here, I'll go get them." You sat back down on the stool and waited for her to come back.
"~~~~?" A familiar voice asked.
You turned around and stood up. "Taejun, what are you doing here?"
Taejun walked closer to you and grinned. "My sister works here. I came to drop off her lunch," he looked at the bag he was holding.
"Oh.." There was an awkward silence between the both of you until Taejun spoke.
"Listen ~~~~, you probably still think I'm a creep for "kidnapping" you or whatever but-" you cut him off by waving your hands in front of you. "I don't, I swear."
"Okay fine but...I was wondering if you..." he trailed off.
You tilted your head in confusion. "Yea?"
"Wanted to hang out?"
