Sungyeol, Eunmi, Junho and his group of photographers and the representatives from Woollim Entertainment started heading towards the exit of K-Fashion Mag building after almost three hours of the meeting.“Okay, guys we’ll see you then. We’ll inform you once we finalized the remaining details necessary for the K-Fashion photo shoot.” One of the representatives of the magazine company said.All of them nodded and after that, they all went to the parking lot and waiting there is the van they used upon getting to the fashion magazine company. Meanwhile, Eunmi was left inside the building. She told them that she’ll go home along with a staff at K-Fashion company.Junho and his group started getting into the van when they saw Sungyeol just standing outside.“Hey, are you just going to stand there? Get inside. We’ll take you home.” He chuckled.“Nope, hyung. You guys will be out of the way. I’ll just take a cab.” The Infinite member said.The older man nodded. “All right then.”As they’re waving each other’s hands, they heard a shout somewhere.“Hey, wait for me!” Eunmi said as she pants.“We thought you’re not going with us?” Junho asked her.The female model explained that the person she was supposed to go along with suddenly had headache so she had to go alone. She also noticed that Sungyeol is still outside.“Aren’t you going with them?” She asked to him.He shook his head. “Nope. I’m taking a cab. I’m afraid they’ll just be out of the way if I do that.”“Then I’ll take a cab, too.” She said.Junho told the Infinite member that he should take Eunmi home since it’s getting late. And so Sungyeol, being a gentleman, just agreed to it.*-------------------------------------*“Yah, wake up.” A whisper on her ear and a gentle tap on her arms woke up her.Jangmi gently rubbed her eyes and saw that it’s her brother. “Oppa.” She sleepily uttered.“Why are you sleeping here?” He said, pointing at the sofa.She told him that she didn’t notice that she fell asleep.“Where’s omma?” He asked.“She’s already at her room, probably sleeping.”“Hmm, I see.” He nodded and started walking towards his room. Before opening the door of his room, he gave his sister a look. “Aren’t you going to sleep yet?”She didn’t answer.“If you’re waiting for him, you better not.” And he told her that her boyfriend brought Eunmi home first.“Is that so-” Jangmi wasn’t able to say the rest of her sentence when her brother already closed the door.She sleepily look at her phone if there’s any message from her boyfriend but she didn’t receive any. She felt frustrated more upon checking the time on her phone. It’s almost 10PM. She had no choice but to stood up and was about to go to her room when her phone rang.*-------------------------------------*“Jagiya.” She heard the other line said. “Did I wake you up?”It took her few seconds before she finally replied. “Not really.”“Feeling sleepy already?”“Nope, not yet.” She simply said.Sungyeol paused for a moment and then spoke. “Hmm..So, can you wait for me in a couple of minutes? I’m on my way there.”She got curious all of a sudden. “But why?”“Because I said so. Just wait for me, ne?”Jangmi heard the other line already hung up.“Psssh, I wonder what it is.”*-------------------------------------*After around 15 minutes, someone knocked on the door. Jangmi received a text message from Sungyeol saying that he’s outside.She was greeted by his smile that seemed like it reached his ears. “Let’s go take a walk, jagiya.”“It’s already late. I think it’s better if you should just go home.” She said with a hint of irritation which she can’t understand what it is for.She heard a little “But” from him, indicating a protest but she already closed the door. As soon as she closed the door, she heard him saying “ouch”. She immediately opened the door again and saw him rubbing his forehead.“Gwaenchana?” A concern is written on her face.He shook his head and didn’t utter any word.Jangmi took few step forwards to reach him and she gently rubbed his forehead. “Mianhae.”“Well, I’ll only accept your apology if you agree to take a walk with me.” He said, following it with a sweet smile he could ever give to her.And once again, she surrendered to that smile and found herself walking along with him in a nearby street with their hands gently swaying.*-------------------------------------*“Where exactly are we going anyway?” She asked, staring at his face that’s being lit by the moonlight.“Well, earlier I was planning to take you out for a decent dinner.” He chuckled. “But I think it screwed because of a sudden meeting that came.” He sighed.“But why?” She blinked in wonder.Sungyeol stopped from walking and turned his attention on her face. “What do you mean ‘why’?”“I mean, what’s that decent dinner you’re talking about for?”“Aish, you don’t know what day is today?”She slightly shook her head.“This yeoja.” He flicked her forehead gently.She abruptly closed her eyes and tried to dissolve on what he’s trying to say.“Okay, may I just remind you that it’s our 30th day today of being together?” He told her, giving her a poker face. “And in an hour or two, we’ll be missing it once the clock strikes past twelve.”“Our 30th day?” And thoughts about it flooded her mind. She counted back the days thirty days ago and realized that it fell on the day where Sungyeol confessed to her of his love. “Oh!” She exclaimed, tapping her forehead.“So, you remember it now?” He tilted his head as he asked her.She smiled awkwardly as an answer. “Sorry, it slipped my mind.” And she gave him an embrace.Sungyeol hugged her back and then lightly swayed her. “Oh, look!” He said, pointing at the small street food stand nearby. “You want eat some of those?”She eagerly nodded.*-------------------------------------*As they approached the food stand, they noticed that it is being run by an old man. Their eyes wandered on the food trays and only found out dukbokkis were the only available.“Ahjussi, two plates of dukbokki please.” The Infinite member politely requested the old man.While waiting for their food to be serve into small oblong plates, they saw a little boy sleeping at the long chair that just besides the seat of the old man.Curiosity led Sungyeol to ask the vendor. “Ahjussi, do you usually sell dukbokkis at this late night?”“Not really. I usually close my stall by 8pm but it’s just that I had to attend to my wife’s needs earlier. She’s at the hospital right now.” The old man casually replied as he continue placing dukbokkis on their plates.“And how is she?” Jangmi couldn’t help but ask.“She’s alright now.” The old man smiled.As soon as their food were served, they began eating.“By the way, is he your son or..?” Sungyeol asked about the kid sleeping beside the vendor.“My grandson. His parents already died long time ago.” He replied with a slight cracked on his voice.“We’re sorry to hear that.” He said in an apologetic tone. “I just wonder why he’s still here outside. It’s getting cold.” He commented while chewing a piece of rice cake.The old man told them that the kid insisted to stay earlier no matter how much he told him to go home. He was not also able to bring the kid home either since he has a business to run to. “Anyway, we’ll be going home soon.”Sungyeol turned his attention to the plenty of dukbokki pieces in an aluminium square tray and he asked if he still had dukbokkis left. The old man told him that the only left are the one they’re seeing right now.“We’ll buy all of the remaining rice cakes, ahjussi.” He said with a bright expression on his face.Jangmi stared at him.The old man looked at him wondering if he’s serious. “Really?”The Infinite’s choding nodded eagerly. The old man thanked them and as soon as Sungyeol and Jangmi began walking away from the food stall, they saw the vendor waking up his grandson and fixing the things around him to get ready to go home.*-------------------------------------*Sungyeol opened the two cans of fruit soda that they bought when they passed by a convenience store. “Here, you go, sweetie.” He said as handed the other one to his girlfriend.“Gomawo.”They went back to the park where they were earlier and eat the dukbokkis in carton boxes there.“Look at those.” He pointed at a certain star formation at the night sky. “That’s Cassiopeia.”“TVXQ’s fandom?” She chuckled.He amusingly looked at her.“But I also know a great constellation!” Jangmi uttered and then took a piece of rice cake and ate it.“Really?” He asked in wonder.“Take a look at those.” She pointed at the group of stars somehwere. “They’re Inspirits.”“Inspirits, huh?” Sungyeol pinched her nose. “Are you one of them?”She shook her head. “Nope.”“You’re not Infinite’s and neither Sungyeol’s fan?”She grinned. “Yep, because I’m more than that.”He tilted his head with his forehead slightly wrinkled.“I’m your biggest fan.” She said and then attacked him with her hug.Sungyeol embraced her as tightly as she did.Suddenly, he freed her from the embrace and told her to close her eyes. She asked why but he just told her to do it. And so she did.“Now, open your eyes, jagiya.”Jangmi saw an opened small red velvet box on his hands. “Oppa..?”He smiled sweetly. “It’s my gift for you.” He chuckled and then he took out the necklace with a star pendant from the box. The pendant is adorned with little diamond stones.She was speechless there as her boyfriend put the necklace around her neck.“There, beautiful.” He uttered. His admiration for her can clearly seen from his eyes.“But I have no gift for you.” She looked down. “And.. And I’m sorry for forgetting our 30th day today. I didn’t mean to-”“Nope, it’s okay princess.” He put an index finger on her lips to interrupt her words and gave her an eye-smile. “But you can make up for me, you know.” He winked at her.“And how?” She said with her head slightly tilted.He pouted and murmured. “Mmm.”“Mmm?” She repeated.He pointed at his lips. “Kiss me.”She blushed upon hearing it.Sungyeol looked at her, anticipating for her to do it. “Kiss me-”And, the rest of his sentence were cut off when she gave him a kiss.Though he’s expecting it, he’s still surprised when Jangmi kissed her. As the kissing went on, he gently puller her closer and put his arms around her waist.She felt the sudden gentle shaking of her knees but she didn’t want to let go, and instead, she wrapped her arms around Sungyeol’s neck to get some support.As they continue kissing, the stars in the night sky witnessed how the two shared sweet kisses.------------------------------------------------*Hey guise I'm for an update this weekend! ljashdfjkshfkjdI was kinda in a rush while making up this update though I had this chapter in draft already. xDAnyway. thanks for the new subbies of this story. ^^
