Three003 (1/1)
Three003Hoseok and Taehyung were particularly melancholy when it was time for Jimin to leave. He was spending four months in Australia under a dance academy. Yoongi clapped his hands on his back for encouragement. Seokjin took Jimin in a bro hug and Namjoon shook his hand. He whispered me to take care when we hugged and I nodded with silent promises. As for Iri, well it was the first time she cried and so the six of us left for them to talk. I didn't walked off far enough to miss what had happened. As far as I knew, Jimin broke up with Minah weeks ago, he just didn't bother to update us on his love life. Not that we were curious enough. Jimin crouched a little, because she was that short, to look at her in the same level. He leaned in and wiped her tears with his thumbs and whispered something I couldn't hear from afar. She nodded and he smiled. Again, I don't know why. And then he did something he never did, he gave her a kiss. It wasn't a real kiss, more a peck. Like what siblings or parents give to each other to show affection. I tried not to let it bother me. And then I braced myself for the longest hug in history, and it was long. When the sound systems announced that it was time to board it was only then that they pull apart. Iri was crying again when she turned around. She probably missed the look that Jimin gave as he saw her walked away. Pure love. And then he turned to me and his eyes tightened. I gulped and nodded in understanding. I mouthed, 'I'll take of her.'~She was sullen during our ride back. I would know, I was sitting beside her. She practically look like the walking dead. Hoseok tried to cheer her up but she ignored him as always. I almost scold her for being so rude but then I remembered she was built that way. Namjoon played something on the radio. The song was sad and depressing, sounds about right. "Want some ice cream?" Seokjin looked at us through the rearview mirror. No one objected so it was settled. Yoongi said he would treat us and we thanked him. Not Iri though. It was a wonder how the hyungs could stand her. Silent and cold and all. Yoongi seemed to know what everyone wanted, but when it came to Iri, the girl simply muttered a whatever. Yoongi frowned a bit but nodded. I huffed in frustration and couldn't help but glare at her. She ignored me as always and looked out the window in missing. I couldn't stand being so close to her for long so I followed Yoongi to the counter. He was muttering to himself, "Maybe vanilla?""Chocolate fudge with coffee biscuits." I told him unwittingly. "That's what Jimin always orders for her." "How do you know?" Maybe because she's always in my line of sight? I just shrugged and simply wait for him to order. Yoongi was going to have his hands full with them. When the order came, Iri immediately reached for the chocolate fudge. She even thanked Yoongi and gave him a smile. I could have sworn he even pinked a little. Wow, a first for everything. ~School was a bore. However school was nothing compare to the mental intrusion of Jimin's words. Take care of her. How could I if she wouldn't even look at me. Lunch came which was always a nice break from classes. I considered asking her to join us, but decided against it. I don't have to stress so early on. After lunch I found that I still had about twenty minutes to kill so I waved my friends off telling them I'll see them at class. I headed straight to the library. How do I know she was there? Maybe from the obscure titles she reads and her wont for solitude? I tried to ignore the many times I conveniently trailed by the library to see if she was there, most of the times she was. Ignore it, Jeon Jungkook. She was by the fantasy section. Figures, when life is crap all of us needs a form of escape. Dancing was it for me, she finds salvation in tomes."Hey." I greeted. I've done that a few times in the last but she never responded to. She lifted her gaze from her book and looked at me. For a moment I thought she was going to say something, but then it was back to the pages. Figures. I ruffled my head, pulled the seat opposite hers and sat on it. "Jimin-hyung wanted to me to not leave you alone. So that's what I'm doing."That got her attention, as she reverted her gaze to mine. I looked at anywhere but at her, "Jimin will be unhappy if he finds you slipping back to old patterns." "I don't need him to take care of me." So she speaks! "I'll bet." I said, sarcasm flooded my tone. "Look I'm not saying you got a problem, but being dependent on Jimin is a problem. You can't just stop living whenever he's gone.""What are you trying to do?" She sneered grudgingly at me. "You're trying to ruin our friendship, aren't you?""Grow up, Iri!" I didn't know why I snapped, I just remembered being irritated. She was annoying, and I wanted nothing more than to leave. But I couldn't, Jimin made me promised. "You're fucking eighteen and you still need Jimin-hyung tying your shoes." I hissed at her trying not to piss the librarian off. It was then that I saw nothing but hate in her eyes. She stood up abruptly and slapped me hard. My ears were still ringing when she pushed the double doors and stomped out. ---A/N: thank you for the comments, and I hope you enjoy the story. FYI, this fic will be a short one. Thanks again!
