Chapter 15 (1/1)
The small house was actually a hunting cabin as Seungri was able to make the distinction by the number of fire arms and stuffed animal heads he saw upon the wall. The place had a simple, masculine furnishing with no telephone, television or radio in sight. Luckily though, the kitchen was well equipped with most modern conveniences with the fridge well stocked on venison. The cabin apparently belonged to a man named Burl Lawson; a name they found in a drawer on a crumpled American Express bill as well as some of his clothes of flannel shirts, long johns, jeans, and a stockpile of wool socks; no feminine things insight. The place also had a plentiful supply of hot water, much to the younger and Jiyong’s relief. They could finally take a hot bath. The older graciously let Seungri shower first, which was a rare gesture for him. Usually the leader would take advantage of the maknae’s position causing Seungri to habitually go last after his hyungs. Jiyong though had let him go first this time while mumbling an excuse of exploring more of the small cabin, yet the panda knew better. Even if Seungri won’t say it out loud to the other’s face, unless it was at a concert, he knew that the dragon was always a good leader in the end. He knew of Jiyong’s unfailing devotion to his bandmates; regularly calling their managers to check up on them, and subtly making sure that each person was taken care of. The older conceding the first shower didn’t get lost on Seungri as he stood appreciatively under the hot water. Other than that fiery temper he had, Jiyong was an amazing leader and the maknae was grateful. The warm shower was what he needed after those long two days of being in the frozen snow. Seungri didn’t get to bathe as long as he wanted, but he needed to save some of the hot water for his leader. The panda emerged from the bathroom and had put on one of the flannel shirts he had stolen from the drawers, coupled with a pair long johns that were extremely comfortable. Seungri knew they weren’t stylish or fashionable, but he didn’t care. They were warm and clean and that was good enough for him. Apparently, he and Burl were about the same size as the clothes fit perfectly on him. The younger walked out to the living room, and found the leader sitting on the couch with a bottle of wine that he must have found in the basement. Seungri lifted a brow at the sight of the bottle, but didn’t make a comment on it; instead, he let the other know that the shower was free. Jiyong nodded, “Good, I’ll head in right now. Do me a favor, Maknae, and make us something decent to eat. I’m starving!”Seungri blinked at him whilst watching him retreat to the bathroom. After the door closed, the maknae headed to the fridge and took out the steaks that he eyed earlier, putting them into the microwave to defrost. He wasn’t surprised that the dragon was making him cook their dinner. Not only was it a task for the maknae to cook for his elders, but Jiyong in the kitchen was something no one wanted unless they wanted their house to burn down or just get downright sick from eating his attempts at what he calls a meal. It was better if Seungri did it anyway. The panda began to cook after he took out the steaks, his thoughts drifting away in his head. His mind went to the thugs that were hired to kill him. Who could want him dead so bad that they hired people to come after him? For two days, Seungri was contemplating all the suspects in his head that could hold a grudge that would inspire to murder him, but he couldn’t think of anyone; also, every time the older asked him who did it, the question would just aggravate him even more because he just didn’t have the answers to it. All the possible candidates either don’t have the means to do it or
