[N] Big Bangs "Sober" ac (1/1)
Big Bang have another hit on their hands with "Sober", but as you know, along with popularity comes more scrutiny from the public, and that has led to speculations about possible plagiarism from some. It's being pointed out that "Sober" may be too similar to The Wanted's "Glad You Came", which was released four years earlier. In particular, it's being said that the melody at the 1:01 minute mark to 1:15 mark in "Sober" sounds very similar to "Glad You Came" at the 1:04 mark to 1:19 mark. Some netizens have even gone ahead to upload comparison videos of the two songs to further emphasize the similarities between the two songs. Hearing about the brewing accusations, many voiced differing opinions. Some say the melodies are way too similar to be coincidental. However, others say at this point in time, it's hard to find a song that is 100% unique and just because there are similarities between songs does not mean it's plagiarism. YG Entertainment has not yet responded to the articles regarding this issues, so stay tuned for any possible updates. 1. [+615, -68] A YG staff was arrested at the airport on the 22nd for drugs and none of the journalists are writing anything about it even though he gave 5 more celebrity names. Stupid fangirls are focusing on the issue of an article using the picture of a Hallyu star member. A, the person arrested, is a famous YG Entertainment international business promoter and has worked with Big Bang concerts and fashion brand launching parties. He was arrested on his way home at the Incheon airport and found marijuana in his home. A's Instagram also shows his friendships with G-Dragon, Seungri, Sandara Park, etc, and even went on vacation with GD and Mizuhara Kiko, obviously being close friends with him.

3. [+459, -69] There are lots of foreign YouTube comments, more than Koreans, that think the song sounds similar to The Wanted's song. There's just barely a melody change but everything else is the same from the beat to even the sound effects. YG's production style always has the same method where they arrange it by throwing a midi in and out. Teddy's famous for it..
4. [+74, -7] It's so ridiculous to me because it's obvious the minute you listen to it that it's plagiarized so how can you say it's not...? Just because the cord is different? ㅋㅋㅋ
5. [+61, -8] Wasn't GD the one that was on jTBC a while ago saying he's different from SHINee because hr pdocues songs? Looks like he meant plagiarizes songs ㅋㅋ
