CHAPTER 1 - The Meeting (1/1)

"Now take her hand and repeat as I say..." Baekhyun spoke on his headset's microphone. Baekhyun's first client of the day decided that it'd be nice to take his lovely soon-to-be girlfriend (if things go out as planned) to the park today. It was 4 days ago when Baekhyun last met with this particular client and the same girl as the client's eye candy. That day, they went out to dinner at this fancy restaurant. The evening went very smoothly if you ask Baekhyun. However, it was 4 months ago when he first met this set, it had been that god damn long and now, finally, the guy is ready to confess his undying love for the girl. This is the D-Day. The day where Minho, Baekhyun's client, finally tells Jinri, the soon-to-be-girlfriend-if-things-work-out, his long time admiration for the girl. The most important day of all days. And Baekhyun is perfectly focused. "I have never felt this way about anyone ever," Baekhyun continued to speak as Minho followed. "And I know it's cliche but, there are things that I would I like to tell you. Things that I have always felt about you," Minho placed Jinri's hand over his heart as he looked directly into the girl's eyes. He then stood up and looked up the sky as he sighed deeply before he looked at the girl again. Baekhyun concluded it was for dramatic purposes but he couldn't help but laugh at his actions.  Wow. Talk about awkward. Just when he thought Minho was over his stunt, Minho decided that well, maybe it'd be nice to kneel in front of the girl to show just how sincere he really was. Or maybe to show just how desperate he really was. Baekhyun scoffed at this action but then focused himself when he heard Minho cough, indicating that Baekhyun needed to continue with his touching words to dictate to the guy or else he will end up looking more of a fool than he already was. And continue was what Baekhyun did.  "Things that I have kept in me, knowing that you would never return them, but as I finally, now have the courage to say," Minho kept repeating the words Baekhyun was saying over his earpiece with more emotion and gestures than necessary. Over looking the couple, in his mini van parked right behind the couple, Baekhyun couldn't help but feel extremely cringy over the fact that Minho was over exaggerating his actions when in fact he could've just kept the confession simple and made it less awkward for the girl as they were in fact in a public park. Deciding that he couldn't take it anymore, Baekhyun spoke over his headset and decided to give Minho a little scolding, "Minho dear, the skinship isn't necessary. And the dramatic actions too. Just sit your ass right beside her. And repeat what I say. She's looking extremely flushed from where I am and judging by that, you are not getting anywhere near a "Yes" anytime soon." Minho looked over at Baekhyun's direction and pouted a little before he followed Baekhyun's orders. Pouted. "Good job, puppet," Baekhyun then thought a little before he continued, "Now, look directly into her eyes, like how you did a little while back, tuck that piece of hair covering her face and place it behind her ear and say these exact words." "I have never seen such beautiful pair of eyes, have I told you how they sparkle every time you smile?" Minho told Jinri what Baekhyun dictated and followed his orders. The guy couldn't help but feel giddy when Jinri showed her perfect set of teeth as she smiled and mouthed a quick "Thank you.". "And wow, that smile, easily beats every single girl I have ever met," Baekhyun continued his dictation.  And just when Baekhyun felt that the aura was perfect, he decided to bring out the guns and end the show, "Choi Jinri, would you do me an honor and say yes to being my girlfriend?", he said as he relaxed in his seat, knowing exactly what the girl will reply. He has seen it countless of times. Having been able to handle so many clients since he started working with The Agency, Baekhyun already knew that girls only had one action when they feel a certain type of emotion. And this emotion, the emotion that Jinri has on her face right now, is the emotion of a "yes".      Baekhyun went back to The Agency after the date with Minho and Jinri feeling a wee bit excited. Of course, Jinri said yes, no doubt about that, but there was something about today that Baekhyun was feeling giddy about. He entered the hall and went to his office. Just a little over 4 seconds after he took his seat, Yuri, his secretary, called from his door, "B, someone's on the line for you." Another day, another client. Well, second one that is. "Hello. This is The Agency, Agent B speaking." And this is where Byun Baekhyun knows he is good at. Baekhyun is like the top grossing film in The Agency. Everyone wants to be Byun Baekhyun's client. Why? Because Byun Baekhyun is THE Top Agent. Nobody does it better than Byun Baekhyun. “B, I need an intervention.” While that, is Luhan. Baekhyun has been friends with the doe-eyed boy since, well, forever. “What? Lu? No. WHAT?! I spent so much time. WE spent so much time getting you and Sehunnie together and NOW you ask me to do another thing for you, I mean god knows how madly in love the boy is to you now. NO. Damn it, Lu what are you-“ Oh and B also helped Lulu get his now, 3 year boyfriend, Oh Sehun.
