Star KingAs usual, it was the recording of Star King with all the permanent idol members.Woohyun was looking around as if he was searching for someone. When a figure of woman with her members came into the set, a smile was seen on his face as he quickly walked toward the girl.“Annyong, Seohyun ah!”Seohyun lifted his head up and saw Woohyun standing in front of her.“Woohyun ah…. “ She smiled, awkwardly. She still can’t forget the fact that he said he liked her.“Hey, there’s something that I need to tell you.” He said.She looked at him with a confused face.“Come here.” He said, dragging her to a corner.“What is this about?” She asked as they sat at a corner.“Did Hoya tell you anything?” He asked, before starting the real topic.“No, what does he had to tell me?”“Well, for your information, he’s going to be on WGM.” He smiled. He was really excited to see Seohyun’s sad face.Well, what did you think? His wish really did come true. Seohyun’s eyes widened.“WGM? With…. Who?” She managed to ask, despite being very shock.“Well, I heard it was APINK Chorong. He confirmed it already.” He said. He was lying. Hoya didn’t even confirm anything yet.“Oh….” She replied, looking very sad. She tried to fake a smile, as if she’s not affected by the news.Woohyun seemed to be really happy with Seohyun’s reaction. Though she was smiling, but he knew that she was faking it. He knew that she was hurting inside. He wanted her to forget about Hoya since he will be in WGM with a girl for a few months, maybe a year.Seohyun excused herself and left the recording set. She went to the emergency stairs where she and Hoya always met during music shows.She couldn’t believe what Woohyun just said. Why is it that Chorong was chosen when she, herself also applied for WGM and even wrote Hoya as her first choice. Tears started to formed under her eyes. She felt like crying, her heart hurt really deep.The fact that she had to see Hoya being so lovey-dovey with another girl in a show pains her. She even imagined what will happened if she were to meet them accidentally in music shows.Just the thought of it made her shivers. She was worried that she won’t be able to act normal in front of them.“This can’t be true… Please….”

After a few days…Hoya went back to the practice room to tell his manager about his decision. But he saw his manager sitting alone at the cafeteria and approached him. He looked like he was on phone talking with“Hyung, I’ve made up my mind.” Hoya said.The manager stood up and said, “Hoya ah, before you say something, A Pink’s manager wants you on the phone.”He handed over the phone to him.Hoya hesitated to take over the phone because he felt he knew what A Pink’s manager would say to him.“Ann…. Yonghaseyo…. Hoya imnida….”He said putting the phone to his ear.“Hoya sshi, please help us. Don’t call the show off. A Pink’s name will be tarnished.” The manager said.He sighed.“Mianhaeyo. There’s nothing I can do. I don’t feel like doing it right now.” He replied, trying to be as polite as he can.“Hoya sshi, you have to help us. Please do the show with Chorong. She doesn’t know the fact that you want to call the show off. She was so happy to be on the show with you. Please pity my Chorong.”“Mianhaeyo. I don’t want to hurt chorong as well, but I don’t think I can do this.”“You have to pity us. Why don’t you just go on the show for several weeks, then call it off saying that you’re busy?” The manager suggested.The manager was really worried that Hoya might call the show off because the news about Hoya and Chorong to appear as married couple on WGM was already spread wide.He sighed again. He really didn’t want to the show.“Hoya sshi, I’ll make sure you won’t have anything to lose if you agree to go on the show.” The manager said, trying to persuade him.“I’ll give some thoughts on this. I’ll inform you again later.” Hoya said, before hanging up.He sighed again. It’s not that he didn’t like Chorong, but the person that he wants to go on the show with is Seohyun.He gave back the phone to his manager.“Hoya ah, I really hope you can think about this carefully. I don’t know why you’re refusing to be on the show with Chorong. But the news about you two had already spread all over the internet. If you were to call it off, things will be complicated.” The manager said, trying to persuade him.“Hyung, I though you said you don’t want to pressure me?” Hoya talked back, raising his voice a little higher. He was getting fed up with everyone pressuring him although they were insisting that they’re trying to persuade him.To him, it doesn’t look like persuading him, but it looked like they were pressuring him that he will be the one to blame if things go awry.“I don’t mean it to make it sound like that. it won’t hurt you in any way if you do it. You won’t lose anything. Okay, if you really can’t do it, then just bear with it for a few months only, think of it as work.”“Few months? How long is that few months? Five months? Does that sound few to you?”“You don’t have to view it in a negative way. You don’t have to be so lovey-dovey with her like how the Khuntoria was. Just treat her like your friend.”Hoya sighed. He knew that he would lose talking fact with his manager.“Now, you’re going to do this program only for a few months, then we’ll end it as neatly as we can , so that there will be no rumors about you and Chorong.” The manager said.Hoya heaved out a deep sigh. He had no choice but to do as he was told.
