Chapter 1 (1/1)
The early morning sun greeted Cham as soon as she got out of their dormitories. She walked hurriedly and irately. For the first time in her college life, Cham didn’t wake to the sound of her irritating yet useful alarm clock. Unfortunately and fortunately for her, she woke ten minutes after seven o’clock, leaving her with about twenty minutes to bathe, eat breakfast, fix her things and walk the five block distance from their dorms to the university. She quickly jumped out of bed and made use of her the time. Luckily for Cham, her everyday training of procrastination and multitasking paid off. She’s now left with only five minutes to walk to school.“I can manage…” she said to herself as she hastily walked down the street and rummaged through her bag for her ID.Cham was too busy that she didn’t notice the van that was parked just to her right. As soon as she went by it, the door of the van opened suddenly, resulting to a collision between a 19-year old girl and a very hard and heavy metal door. Cham instantly met a stabbing pain on her head. Things from her bag flew out and were now strewn everywhere.“Ugh!” she exclaimed. Cham found herself sitting on the ground with the throbbing pain on her head getting worse by the second. She felt dizzy but her anger and irritation overcame it. She was already late for pete’s sake and now this van just consumed another minute of her precious time!“Yah!” Cham exclaimed as she got up. She saw a form of a guy standing just by the door but, with tears welling up in her eyes and the awful pain in her head, she couldn’t see him clearly.Aish, why isn’t he doing anything?, she thought irately to herself.“Uh… Are you okay?” a high pitched voice squeaked hesitantly.Cham tried to focus her eyes on the person in front of her. From what she can see, he IS a guy. Cham had a slight urge laugh at this girl-voiced guy but then she remembered that he was the cause why she’s going to be late.“Yah!” she shouted angrily. “What the hell? Now because of you I’m really going to be late. Aish!”Still a little bit dizzy, Cham then went down and took her stuff that was on the ground. The guy seemed to be shocked. The nerve of this girl! She was the one who wasn’t looking at where she was going. Now she has the nerve to be angry at him?“Yah!” he yelled. “What the hell are you saying? You’re the one who’s blind. I bet you didn’t even see this van right here. If you had eyes you would have seen it!”“Bwo?” Cham let out as she widened her eyes. She gripped on the pen she was holding and angrily stuffed it in her bag. She stood up and glared at the guy. “I should say the same thing to you! Pabo!”Cham then gave one last death stare to him and hurriedly went on her way. She would have said more things to that guy but the slight concussion on her head and the fact that she was already late deterred her from doing so.“There are more important things to do…” she thought to herself. Cham hadn’t noticed it but she was wobbling a little while she walked.`----------♫♪♥♪♫----------`“Aish!” Junsu muttered angrily as he glared at the girl walking drunkenly away from him. “Girls these days! Psh… They have no common sense!”“Yah! Junsu-ah!” a guy from inside the van yelled at him. “I think you’re the one who doesn’t have a common sense.”“Bwo?” Junsu turned and glared at him. “Yah! What the hell are you saying Jaejoong-hyung?”Jaejoong opened the side door of the van and got out.“Couldn’t you tell she was in a hurry? You could have at least said sorry or to help her with her things but instead, you just yelled at each other.” He said rather coolly.“Yah yah yah!” Junsu retorted. “It was her fault!”“Aish, hyung!” another guy said as his head popped out of the opened side door of the van. “It doesn’t matter whose fault it is. You should have at least tried. Besides, it was both your fault.”“Yah, Changmin-ah! Not you too!” Junsu whined. “Then why didn’t you guys get out of there and helped her yourselves?”Jaejoong chuckled. “Because we wanted you to do it.”Junsu glared at Jaejoong and Changmin. “Aish. You two…”He then looked away from them and, somehow, his eyes wandered on something on the ground. Junsu went down and took it. It was the girl’s ID.“Park Cham…” he read the name on the card. Junsu snickered. “Psh… She’s pretty. Too bad she has such an attitude.”“Yah, hyung! What’s that?” Changmin inquired as Junsu came back inside the van and played with whatever he was holding.“Ah. This?” Junsu squeaked a reply. “It’s that girl’s ID. Wanna see?”Junsu handed Changmin the card. The latter took it and surveyed it curiously.“Can I see that?” Jaejoong said and the youngest handed him the ID. He took a moment to look at it then Jaejoong gave it back to Junsu. “Aren’t you gonna bring that back?”Junsu looked at him incredulously. “And why would I do that?”Jaejoong gave him a stern look. “Do you really want me to enumerate the reasons?”Junsu rolled his eyes, but then finally admitted defeat. “Fine… Whatever. I’ll bring it back to her later.”Jaejoong chuckled. He gave Junsu a few pats on the back while his lips curved into a mischievous smile. “You’ll do more than that.”`----------♫♪♥♪♫----------`The day couldn’t have gotten better for Cham. She nearly didn’t get in school earlier because her ID somehow got lost. When the school guard finally heard her pleas, she went to class having this huge bump on her forehead. She was late for first period, where they had an exam and, because she was late and still had that awfully throbbing pain in her head, she almost didn’t finish it in time. She was so stressed about having the feeling of flunking the exam that she didn’t focused much on second period. She almost got in trouble with their Clinical Instructor for spacing out. The only thing she was thankful for was that they didn’t have any duty at the hospital for today. But still, being in their last year as a Nursing student, that doesn’t mean she’s free from the stress even in her break time.“Aish…” Cham muttered irately as she got out of their university. She had been cussing for no apparent reason ever since this morning and it seems the habit’s not going away anytime soon.To add to her misery, a lot of girls seem to be hyperactive today for some reason. Groups of them were running out of the campus and were going crazy at… well, something.“Kyaaaahhh~!!!” one girl screamed almost at Cham’s ear, making her flinch. She then ran away excitedly.“Aigoo… What the hell could these girls going crazy at?” Cham wondered to herself.Out of plain curiosity, she headed onto the front of the university where the tons of girls were grouped. She walked on until she finally saw the reason for the fan-girliness all around. There in front of them parked a shiny new red 2010 Lexus IS C, the kind that looks alone can already make anyone breathless, let alone the price. But the car was only half the reason. The other half was the cute yet somehow hunky guy leaning arrogantly against the side of the sedan. He was wearing a pair shades, a stylish black leather jacket over a white A-shirt and an obviously pricy pair of jeans.“Psh… So that’s why?” Cham asked herself while she shook her head disapprovingly. “People can be as superficial as they can get.”Cham breathed out before finally going on her way.Junsu tried yet failed to ignore the giggling girls gathering around him. He gritted his teeth as he waited for one particular girl to appear.“Aish! When the hell is that girl going to get out?” he asked angrily in his thoughts.Junsu was about to lose his patience when he suddenly saw a girl with slightly long hair in the corner of his eye. He instantly turned to look and, sure enough, it was the girl he had met earlier that day.“Yah!” He yelled in his high-pitched voice.Cham stopped in her tracks. That voice was awfully familiar. She racked her brains out to try to remember where she had heard it.“Yah! You!” the high pitched voice said again.“Yah, pabo!” a girl near her yelled, irritated that the hot guy was calling this girl instead of her. “That guy’s calling you!”Cham turned around and saw the guy walking closer to her. It was then that she recognized who he was. It’s the guy from the van.“Yah! I was calling you.” he said.“M-me? W-why?” Cham stuttered. She felt that she was in some sort of trouble. Haven’t she had enough for the day?“Aish. Don’t ask.” He said plainly. To the dismay of the girls watching, Junsu took Cham’s arm and dragged her to his car.“Get in.” he said.“Yah! Why?” she asked.“Aish. Don’t ask! Just get in.” Junsu hollered.“I don’t have any rea – ” Cham tried to retort.“Aish! Just get in!” The irritated Junsu yelled, cutting her off.Cham narrowed her eyes at him and reluctantly followed. ------------------------------------------;♥Comments are very much appreciated! :D
