At last, here's the sixth chapter... Enjoy~ “Sorry I’m late.” Sungjong muttered as he sat down beside Sungyeol.“What did you do anyway?” Sungyeol asked his brother as he was sipping his iced Americano.“I was talking to Hana.”As soon as he said that, Woohyun who was eating his spaghetti and meatballs, Myungsoo who was munching his lasagna, Sunggyu who was having French toast, Howon and Dongwoo who shared a plate of lamb chop and of course Sungyeol who had just sipped his Americano again choked on their food (and drink).Sunggyu, who just happened to sit in front of Sungyeol, suddenly had the honor of washing his face with iced Americano which freshly came out from the tall boy’s mouth.“YOU WHAT?!” they exclaimed in surprise, ignoring the looks the other students gave them.Sunggyu however missed the chance to exclaim along with the others as he was too busy cleaning his hamster face and glaring the giant with his pair of small hamster eyes.Sungyeol grinned apologetically. Woohyun who had just realized the hamster beside him was wet with coffee joined the glaring-at-Sungyeol venture as he picked up a napkin and helped to wipe the coffee off the wet hamster, occasionally brushed the hamster’s fur skin more than supposedly.“Say that again, Lee Sungjong.” Myungsoo asked as his voice clearly showed disbelief.“I said, I was talking to Hana. That’s why I’m late.” The maknae stated, ignoring the fact that his words just now almost made the others died from overload shock.“Hana? As in THAT Hana?” Howon asked, emphasizing each and every word.“There’s only one Hana in this school, hyung.” the latter mumbled as he shoved his fruit salad into his mouth.“Are you sure that you’re not hallucinating, Sungjong?” Myungsoo asked again, still can’t digest the new info.Sungjong rolled his eyes. “I’m not like you, hyung.” Myungsoo shot him a look.“Wow. I’m jealous…” Sungyeol mumbled softly. The boys looked at him in disbelief, except for Dongwoo and Sungjong.The youngest grinned. “I knew you would be, hyung. I’m the first one among us to talk to her.”Woohyun scoffed. You’re wrong, Jongie… Fucking wrong.“Gee. Congratulations, Lee Sungjong.” Sunggyu mumbled sarcastically.“What did you talk about?” Dongwoo asked, eagerly.“You know what; she wants to act just like before. Acting like not knowing each other and such…” Sungjong frowned. Not that I’d agree though…“Why am I not surprised?” Woohyun muttered as the others nodded in agreement.They continued eating their lunches.“By the way, I heard that the police have blacklisted one of Shadow’s areas.” Howon suddenly stated, earning attentions from the others.Sunggyu blinked his small hamster eyes. “Who told you that?”The younger shrugged. “I’m not sure. I heard it when I passed by i-don’t-know-who.”“Shadow’s area has been blacklisted? It’s impossible.” Dongwoo mumbled, earning nods from the others.“I know right? It’s just no way. The strongest gang in Korea that is famous for their clean areas is blacklisted seemed too impossible.” Howon replied.“Do you know why, hyung?” Myungsoo casually asked.“I heard they said something about drugs and robberies.”“No fucking way.” Sungjong murmured, causing Sunggyu to glare at him.“Language, Lee Sungjong.”Sungjong mouthed a not-so-sincere apology.“I wonder how the members are reacting.” Sungyeol said.“Especially their mysterious unknown leader.” Woohyun continued.“I don’t think they caused it themselves though.” Sunggyu mumbled, again earning nods from the others. ∞∞∞ Hana walked back into her still-empty class with a frown on her face.Why can’t he just tell me? I hate being the only clueless person.She unconsciously pouted as she glanced at her watch.30 minutes before lunch break is over…Hana stifled a yawn as she put her head on the desk.A short nap sounds good…Slowly, she closed her eyes. ∞∞∞ Sungjong let out a relieved sigh as soon as he reached his class. Finally, fresh air…He immediately noticed a sleeping figure beside the window. Sungjong smiled slightly as he neared the sleeping girl.As he reached at his place, Sungjong quietly sat on his seat and slowly shook the other’s shoulder, ignoring the small squeals and murmurs from the other students.“Hana-ah… Lunch break is over.” He whispered faintly. She looked so innocent.Hana’s eyes fluttered open as she felt her shoulder was being shaken slowly. She saw the person who was responsible of waking her up. Oh God! He saw me sleeping!!!She immediately touched the end of her mouth, which fortunately was dry.Thanks god! Not that I drool in my sleep, but hey, you’re unconscious when you’re sleeping right?Sungjong laughed a little when he saw the girl’s reflex. I’m glad she’s my sister. She’s so cute!Hana blushed slightly. She cleared her throat. “Why are you laughing?”“Why? I can’t even laugh now?” He raised his eyebrows twice.“Whatever.” The girl mumbled as the teacher walked into the class.He seemed as he’s starting to get comfortable with me. That can only meant one thing; danger. ∞∞∞ The school bell rang exactly when the teacher concluded their Biology lesson for that day. The students hurried out from the school.Hana leisurely packed her things on the desk before shoving them into her bag. She let out a tired sigh.She was extremely tired, not because of the brain-exploding-lessons, but because of a certain hyper boy named Lee Sungjong who fortunately gave up on companying Hana and went home together with her. However, Hana got the feeling that it won’t end just like that. She sighed again.She walked out from the class towards the Student Council office. ∞∞∞ “Someone wants to see me?” Hana spoke as soon as she entered the President’s office. Just when she closed the door, she was attacked by a headlock.“I told you I’d get you!” the person who attacked her exclaimed, clearly satisfied with his ambush.“O-oppa..! I-I need… t-to breath!” Hana said, with difficulty on breathing.“Yah Junnie. Let her go. You’ll kill her.” Eventually, the latter let the girl go.Hana glared at him, with a pair of eyes that stated I’ll-be-sure-to-get-my-revenge-and-you-won’t-get-away-from-me, after took a few breaths. Junhyung just looked back at her, showing no fear.“Is there any reasons why you call me other than to choke me to death?” Hana asked, sarcastically.Both boys laughed. “That’s purely Junhyung’s intention. I have nothing to do with it.” Hyunseung smiled before gesturing the girl to sit in front of him.Hana scoffed but sat on the seat anyway before followed by Junhyung who took a seat beside him.“So, why am I here again? Did I do anything wrong, President-nim?” Hana looked straight at Hyunseung who in return showed a small smile.“If you want to talk about your wrongdoings, it’ll take the whole year to list it down, Hana.” Junhyung stated.Hana shot him a look. “I’m not talking to you, you evil oppa.”Hyunseung laughed as Junhyung glared back at her.“How’s your stepbrothers?” the President asked, cutting off the staring-and-glaring competition between Hana and Junhyung.“Don’t ask, oppa. I’m exhausted just by thinking about them.”They laughed again. “You’ll get used with them soon.” Junhyung mumbled.“Easier said than done. You don’t know how it feels to have SEVEN new stepbrothers who turned out to be the kingkas in your school.” Hana pouted.“I wonder if you show them this side of you in front of them…” Hyunseung muttered, grinning.Hana just shrugged it off. “So, why am I here again?”As if on cue, both Hyunseung and Junhyung let out sighs, simultaneously.Hana raised her left eyebrow. “Waeyo?” I don’t have a good feeling…“We have bad news and good news.” Junhyung stated, his serious mode has been turned on.“We’re going to tell you the bad news first. And you’re not going to like it.” Hyunseung spoke, in the same tone.I could never stand seriousness…“What is it?” Eventually, the girl got serious too.“Our area at the southern part of Seoul has been blacklisted by the cops.”Hana frowned. WTF?! “Say that again.”“You heard Hyunseung, Hana.”“Why?”“Apparently, it seems that some assholes decided that that area is the best for dealing drugs.”“Yeah. And also, the rates of robberies have increased very rapidly.”Hana sighed. Drugs and robberies. Common, yet difficult to vanish.“How come? We made it clear that no crime activities are allowed in any of our areas.”Hyunseung showed a small smile. “Good news is, those assholes are not our boys. We caught one of them, and it turned out that he’s one of the minions of a gang-thug.”“Have you met the leader?”Junhyung nodded. “We’ve warned him, actually. But either he’s just too stubborn or he’s just too stupid to understand.”“How many times you’ve warned him?”“Two.”Hana nodded understandingly. “Give him the last warning. Let’s wait and see the results.”Hyunseung and Junhyung nodded in agreement. Hana got up from her seat and excused herself. Just when she was about to twist the doorknob, Junhyung called her.“One more thing, Hana.” she turned back and ushering him to speak out.“Our boys are going to have a fight tonight.”Hana furrowed her brows. “What for? You do know that I never encourage fighting without reasons.”Hyunseung smiled. “We can’t reject an invitation, can we? Besides, they haven’t been fighting for quite some time.”“You’re going to fight too?”“Nah. We’re too good for them.” Junhyung replied. “Whatever, oppa. By the way, tell them I said good luck.” Hana said before went out. ∞∞∞ “I’m home…” Hana mumbled as she got into the house which was surprisingly quiet. Hana walked to the kitchen, hoping to find her mother there, but to no avail.Furrowing her eyebrow, she walked towards the fridge to grab a cold drink when she saw a sticky note on the refrigerator’s door. On it, Hana recognized her mother’s handwriting. Hana pouted a bit when she finished reading the note that stated that her mother, her father and her brothers are out for dinner.They left me just like that? How could you guys..!Truth to be told, Hana didn’t give a damn at all about being left alone in the house. Instead, she welcomed the sudden loneliness with empty hands.She got into her room, washed herself, got changed, fixed herself a plate of fried rice (which she had to do some treasure-hunting in the kitchen to search for the ingredients) for dinner, got back into her room and did her homework.She was completely aware that on another side of Seoul, the atmosphere was not as calm and quiet as in the house. That night, a group of boys can be seen walking to an alley. As they arrived at the alley, they saw another group of boys, waiting for them with bats and hockey sticks in their hands. Without words, they walked towards the other groups calmly, despite the fact that they don’t bring anything with them. And without warning, the group with weapons ran towards them, holding their weapons up high. Soon after, beating noises and moans in pain were heard. ∞∞∞ Shadow is the infamous strongest gang in Korea that of course, ranked number one. Just like its name, the details about Shadow are mysterious. The number of members is unknown as Shadow worked like an organization, so do the identity of the leader that is only known by the name Shana. The members are very skilled in fighting. The leader of Shadow itself is a very excellent fighter, and is unbeatable.Shadow rules almost every territory in South Korea. They are also famous by keeping clean records of the areas that they control. The police, as well as the government do not want to mess with Shadow, as Shadow helped them with controlling the crime rates in many districts.Being a mysterious yet the strongest gang in Korea, Shadow is respected and also feared by most of the people who are involved with the underworld. I haven't updated for 2 months!!!
