"Mr. Kim, we searched the whole city, but no one saw Katherine Collins." The cop said to the old man."So search for all the cities nearby!" He said angrily. The officer bowed and went to his team to give directions."Mr. Kim, the papers you asked for are ready." His secretary bowed and handed him the papers. Mr. Kim looked at th papers and laughed sarcastically."Grandpa, what happened to my mom?" Seolchan came and asked his grandpa about his mother, the boy couldn't sleep last night after hearing that his hyungs and noonas were looking for his mother."Aigoo, Seolchan-ah." He picked his grandson. "Don't sorry, mommy is fine. She's playing hide and seek with us." He tried to calm down the little boy."I knew she would leave me! She lied to me! And you're lying too, grandpa!" The little boy burst into tears, breaking the old man's heart."Seolchan-ah! don't cry! Daddy is here, okay?" Himchan picked him from his father. It broke his heart in million pieces to see his little boy like this."Daddy! Please find mommy!" Seolchan hugged his dad, crying. Even if Himchan and Seolchan would spend plenty time together, this was the first time Seolchan called him 'daddy' ✮✮✢✮✮"Why? Why are you doing this to me?!" Katherine yelled in the verge of tears."You insisted on getting on my way!" The lady shouted. "I just had to do so. Do you really think Himchan would marry you? He's out of your league, sweetheart."  She yelled. "She's all yours, babe." Mrs. Kim said before leaving. Leonard smirked devilishly and dragged his bat near the girl.Katherine shivered in fear as Leonard swung his bat and hit her. All she could do was protect her tummy, hoping for the little life forming inside her body was okay.  Katherine felt numb as her head throbbed and her eyes insisted on getting heavy, she didn't sleep at night because of all the pain. Her body is all bruised and sore, and Leonard had untied her from the chair and threw the lady in a corner.of the room she prayed to her new baby to be okay.  She wanted someone to save her.To take her away from the pain.She wanted someone to broke the door and rescue her.The door was kicked and her hopes rose, but fell when she saw Leonard dragging someone."Hoon!" She yelled, gulping hard. The younger one was covered in bruises, ones even worse than hers, he was almost unconscious. Leonard smirked and left. Katherine crawled until she reached him, tapping gently his cheek. "Hoon-ah! Hoon-ah!" She said desperate and sighed in relief when the boy opened his eyes. "He is your son for God's sake!" Katherine yelled, she couldn't understand it, she got angry. How can a mother ever do it to her child?"As I said. I just got it out of my way." She said harshly and arrogantly."Hoon is right... you're a monster." The lady let out a sarcastic laugh."Why thank you." Then she slammed the door."I should have known she would do this." Hoon scoffed and tried to sit up. Katherine quickly pushed him lightly back to her lap."You're so bruised." Katherine pouted and caressed Hoon's cheek, somehow Hoon remembered her of Himchan when he was younger, he always got into fights to defend his friends, so he would always be bruised by the end of the day, and Katherine was the one who treated his bruises, she was the one who always rescued him.Now, she wished Himchan would be the one rescuing her. Mr. Kim waited for the results, when he discovered about Katherine he immediately called all the police stations nearby to do the search for her. After all, she's his almost daughter."I saw a girl looking like this last night." A high-schooler girl said, everyone turned their attention to her. When she saw so much people looking at her she took a step back, afraid."For God's sake!" Hyesoo exclaimed annoyed. "You're all scaring her, you idiots!" Then, Hyeri and Hyesoo pulled the girl by her hand to a place away from all those people."You okay, honey?" Hyeri asked, holding the younger girl's hand. She nodded shyly. "Now, tell us, everything you can recall, okay? We need it." The girl seemed to be thinking. "I was coming home from...""You can tell us, we won't tell anyone." Hyesoo said. She seemed to be a little more comfortable, despite the tight grip around her backpack straps."From the club... I was a little dizzy because I was drunk... but I saw her there, white dress, right? With medium, almost short hair?" Hyesoo and Hyeri nodded. "She took something from her bag, it seemed to be a white stick, I don't know what it was, she looked at it and widened her eyes... then..." The girl shut her eyes, trying to remember. "I don't know but it seemed like a guy put a cloth over her mouth, then after a few seconds she fainted." Hyesoo furrowed her brows, Hyeri widened her eyes, covering her mouth. "I was so scared... it seemed like one of those movies scenes, when they kidnap someone... I just saw he carrying her..."Hyesoo massaged her temples. Now, they knew what happened to theur friend, but had no idea of who did it."But WAIT!" The girl called her again. "There was also a woman... long blonde hair, expensive clothes... and a bag that seemed to be Gucci." Hyesoo furrowed her brows. "Did you see her face?""Yeah...""If... I show you a picture, you can recognize her?" "I think so..." then Hyesoo pulled her phone, and searched for a photo. She showed it to the younger girl and waited afflicted for her response."It's her! It's the woman who kidnapped you friend!" She exclaimed, pointing to the woman in the picture.Hyesoo shook her head. "Oh, you went way too far woman" she said, looking at the picture of her stepmother.
