Himchan stormed out of her house, stomping angrily, he sure did not had the right to do so, Katherine and him were not a couple, he should not feel jealous, not at all, but whenever he saw her talking with someone else, doing the same things she does to him to someone, he feels a pang on his chest, Himchan surely could not explain the source of his jeolousy.Hours later after Himchan left, Katherine watched as Yongguk left the house, with his coat hanging around his shoulder, his eyes were empty and there were eyebags underneath them, she felt bad for him. His love for Sooyoung was the same as always, Katherine had to admit, she would always envy her best friend, the way Yongguk and Sooyoung fell in love for each other was just...perfect, he loved her, she loved him, they planned to marry as soon as they graduated, but... suddendly Sooyoung changed. Katherine could not understand it.   Meanwhile, Himchan stood there, his head low, he nodded and said "Yes. I will." before bowing to his father and step-mother and leaving, ruffling his hair, angry and frustrated. A mix of feelings invaded his heart and his head making it impossible to handle, he threw himself at his bed, wondering how could this happen now? Why it didn't happen 2 years ago when he gave up?Himchan looked at his cellphone wallpaper, an old picture of him and Katherine, how he misses those days, the days he could just hang out with her, chill out a little, he could see her smile everyday, now he can't hang out with her because both have work and Katherine has to take care fo her son, she smile very often, almost never, and sometimes he feels  like she's hiding something from him, like a secret, a really deep secret. ✮✮✢✮✮ As the days passed by, everything was pretty normal, except for the fact that Himchan wouldn't talk to Katherine, neither come over. He would just answer what was asked and be so cold towards her. But Katherine normally ignored, he might be just stressed.Finally, Friday came, Katherine sat at her desk, simply doing Himchan's schedule for the next week. She kept thinking about Seolchan's birthday, which was in the next Wednesday, meaning that is also Himchan's birthday, since Seolchan was surprisingly born on the same day as his father."What are thinking of?" Hyerin, one of Katherine's co-workers asked her, taking the girl away from her thoughts."Just... You know my son... it's his 6th birthday on Wednesday and I don't know what to buy him." She sighed. "I mean, I would buy him a toy or whatsoever but... he's turning 6, I don't think he likes to play with toys anymore." Katherine ruffled her hair."I know how it feels, I never knew what I should buy Minji for her birthday." Hyerin talked about her 15 years old daughter. "But with girls is easier, I could just take her to buy clothes and shoes and she would be happy." The women sighed. "I wish I could help you..." She held her friend hand. Then she had an idea. "Take him to the Everland!" Hyerin clapped her hands together."But... isn't it too far from here? I mean it's near Suwon..." Katherine bite her nail, looking at the woman. "I can take you two there, let's celebrate together! Miyoung's birthday is just 1day after Seolchan's!" Hyerin cheered happily, Katherine smiled."Really? Should we?" Hyerin nodded. "Thanks, Hye" Katherine smiled, Hyerin was really her only girl friend."Now, let's eat, shall we? I'm so hungry." Hyerin caressed her 3 months  pregnant tummy. Katherine laughed at her friend. "Gosh, I'm craving for strawberries!" ✮✮✢✮✮ After fetching Seolchan at school, Katherine came home with her son. As she entered the house, she threw her purse at the sofa, and was surprised to see Himchan in the kitchen."What a pleasant surprise." She said sarcastically, Himchan laughed. "I guess you're not mad at me, are you?"He laughed heartily, his beautiful laugh warmed her heart and heated up her cheeks. "No, I'm not." Himchan flashed a faint smile. Katherine noticed he looked different, maybe a little more pale and... sad, but she chose to not ask anything."Hey, Seolchan-ah!" Himchan greeted the boy. Seolchan's sparkled, he ran to hug his hyung."Hyung!" The boy cooed happily, Katherine smiled as Himchan ruffled the kid's hair and listened to his stories about school and his new classmate. She started putting the last things that arrived from her old house, a box full of old stuff she found when they did a faxine at her house, there was all her old photos - the ones that she didn't left in America - some random clothes and even her diary."Need help?" Himchan appeared behind her with a hint of smile on his lips."Yeah, sure. I'll take these clothes to my bedroom, you just... well, find something to do." She said and picked the clothes, taking them to her bedroom. Himchan started messing the things inside the box, trying to find something interesting, he found a little notebook. 'bingo.' He whispered with a smile,that little notebook was Katherine's diary.He quickly hid the diary inside his coat as Katherine came back. "Should I keep them?" She murmured to herself, holding a pair of red converses.Himchan's phone vibrated inside his pocket, he picked the object, his father was calling. He sighed."Hey." He called Katherine. "Gotta go. See you." He said before turning to the door, Katherine nodded."Wait-" He stopped and looked at her. "That's yours." She threw him a 3DS console. Himchan caught it before it fell in the floor and looked at the object, they used to sit in front of his house and play the whole afternoon games like Pokemon, The legend of Zelda and some old funny games he doesn't remember the name, but even if they played Snake or Barbie or even poker, it would be fun, because he was with her.He looked down at the object, its surface was covered with stickers and their handwriting with permanent markers.Everything has changed, and once again, time has made sure that he knew it.
