KATHERINE POV I walked quickly, kicking the sand with my feet and griping tightly the fabric of my shirt. I don't understand! Why is Sooyoung acting like this? She was my best friend the last time I checked and now... Now she can be even worse than her mother. I reached the ocean, feeling the cold morning breeze through my hair, it made me remember middle school, gosh, I'm getting old.FLASHBACK Dad's car stopped in front of the big house which he said it is ours from now. I took a look at the sky, a cold breeze passed by me, moving my long hair. I held tightly my pink purse and got out of the car, my brother carried my and his luggage to the house. Dad sent me a smile, I also smiled. When I looked across the street, there was a little boy there, I smiled and waved at him, he blushed and waved back with a goofy smile. ✮✮✢✮✮ After my grandma dropped me at Sooyoung's, I fixed my purple floral dress and entered her big and expensive house, Sooyoung greeted me with her childish smile. I gave her the little package, she ripped the paper and took the little necklace of the box."It's so cute! Thanks Kate!" She thanked me and showed her my necklace."It's a friendship necklace." Sooyoung smiled even wider and hugged me tightly."Himchan, help me put this." She said to Himchan, pushing her hair to the side, so he could put the necklace on. After he put it, she fixed her hair and smiled to me."You look pretty." Himchan complimented her, I admit I felt a little jealous of her, but she's my best friend."Come on, Kate, let's go to the pool!" Sooyoung pushed me to the yard, where the pool was. I watched as she entered the pool, calling me, but I refused, I don't have a swimsuit anyway.Sooyoung's mother passed by me with her champagne, the moment I noticed, my dress was all stained and my hair all wet with champagne. God, I'm so humiliated! "Mom!" Sooyoung got out of the pool, angry with what her mother just did, spilled champagne on her best friend."That's what happens when you bring the trash to the party." That's it! I'm so humiliated right now, I feel like I could die already. I wish I could dig a hole and hide myself. I couldn't stop the tears running over my face while I ran. PRESENT My thoughts and memories were interrupted by a voice,"Hey" I turned to see who was, tch, probably Himchan. I couldn't hide the disappointment in my eyes when I saw Yongguk."Oh... hey" I tried to sound the most cheerful as I could, I don't think it worked since he chuckled."I know you weren't expecting me, but I'm the only one who can help you now, I've been through this and I know how you're feeling now.""I'm feeling like-""Crap. Rejected, useless, inferior." I looked at him startled. How did he...?"Exactly." I was still astonished."That's how I felt when we broke up. If you need me, I'll be right here." He opened his arms. "Ready to give you a hug." He flashed his gummy smile. "Can I accept the hug now?" I pouted. He smile and gestured for me to come closer. I approached him and hugged his body tightly, I really needed that hug. NO ONE POV What Katherine didn't knew, is that a person was watching her demonstration of affection with Yongguk. Himchan shook his angrily and went back to the house, in quick and heavy steps, he closed the door with a kick, making the loud noise echo through the room."What's wrong?" Daehyun asked, finding odd his friend's behavior."Nothing." Himchan said sharply. "Throw this away for me, will you?" He said throwing the Coffee Shop plastic bag at Daehyun."Alright." Daehyun thought Himchan's mood really weird, but choose to not ask. He opened the plastic bag, finding Moccha and Doughnuts, Katherine's favorite breakfast. ✮✮✢✮✮ Katherine found Daehyun's shirt thrown in the couch, and it's clean, odd. She picked it anyway and went upstairs to his room, Maybe he fell asleep and took his shirt of because he felt hot.Katherine knocked on Daehyun's door. "Daehyun?" She knocked once again. "I'm coming in." She opened the door.The moment Katherine opened the door, her eyes widened, the shir that was on her hand until now fell on the floor. She didn't expected that, she really didn't expected that.
