Spell - 1 (1/1)

.  A life filled with love is a true life. Those words seemed old but always visible in his mind. He didn’t remember who said those words to him. Maybe his late grandfather who often tell him stories about war? Or maybe he heard it from a film in television? He didn’t remember. He wasn’t sure and didn’t care anymore. Although part of him still believed in those words, his adult self now learned another statement. Love not always bring you happiness. Yeah, because in the terms of love—in the life filled with love—sacrifice was necessary. For the sake of our life. Or for the sake of the one we love. Sometimes we need to carry out sacrifice which would make our love couldn’t last in their life. . . The school’s bell had rang one hour ago. However, Infinite High still full of students who continued their self studies or did club’s activities. Inspite of that, a commotion happened near the basketball court. A girl with long wavy dark hair exhaled deeply once she exited from the teacher’s room—she just finished her duty as a class president—and noticed the commotion. Without even confirmed it, Yoomae knew what happened there. Really, she’s willing to give whatever she had in the exchange for not seeing what happened. Though, of course she couldn’t ignore the commotion. She’s one of the Student Council members—weird how being Student Council member made you acquired more responsibilities regarding whatever happened in the school. More than that, she couldn’t just stay still because…well, because she’s perfectly knew who behind this commotion. BRAKKK!!! “Why should you care with what I do, eh, Student Council President? My business is not yours, is it?” Yoomae sighed tiredly when she heard that familiar voice. She better went there quickly before that guy damaged any other school’s property. “It becomes my concern if you do it at school, Nam Woohyun!” Yoomae’s steps changed into run once she heard another guy’s voice. If ‘the adversary’ has already snapped back, it means the condition was really bad. Because, as far as Yoomae’s knowledge, that guy was not easily triggered. “Oh? So it means if my accident back then happened at school, you would give attention to me, hmm?” The student named Nam Woohyun spoke again in sharp tone. His messy-but-stylish black hair looked scary embellished his hardened face. Other students who watched them, unconsciously took a step back—feared by The Kingka’s fury. However, a guy with small eyes who stood in front of Woohyun only clenched his jaw and showed his cold expression. Before anyone could realize a glints of hurt in those hazel eyes though, Yoomae’s scream echoed the hall and diverted everyone’s attentions. “NAM WOOHYUN!!! Stop making a ruckus and just go home already!!!” she yelled. Woohyun scowled at the girl’s entrance. “Shut up, Yoomae! I still have some bussines with this fat hamster!” “Let’s go home Woohyun!! Or I’ll punish you at home!!” With a dejected look, Woohyun intended to comply Yoomae’s suggestion since he didn’t want to be deaf by her screaming. However, the soft voice came from the honey-haired guy in front of him made Woohyun freeze. “Right, it’s better for you to obey your girlfriend, Nam Woohyun.” These words were said in a very soft voice, just a slightly louder than a whisper, but Woohyun heard them alright. The next second, the honey-haired guy was choked for air because Woohyun clutched his collar angrily. The girls started shrieking worriedly when they witnessed how the Student Council President being pushed towards the wall with a loud bang. No one knew what would The Kingka do if Yoomae’s loud scream didn’t stop him. “NAM WOOHYUN!!!! LET GO OF SUNGGYU OR I’LL BITE YOU UNTIL YOU COULDN’T WALK!!!” Though she looked like some fragile petite girl, Yoomae had enough strength to separate Woohyun’s muscular body from Sunggyu’s strangled one. Pushed him with both of her arms and shoulders, Yoomae forced Woohyun to draw away. Let himself being dragged by a girl which actually could he lift in one arm, Woohyun shot a furious death glare towards the honey-haired guy who coughed softly. . . “You alright?” A gentle voice followed by  a canned juice shoved into his face, stopped Sunggyu from massaging his neck. His thin lips formed a small smile—replacing his stiff expression. “Thanks, Sungjong-ah,” he said with a slightly hoarse voice. Maybe one of the side effects from being strangled. Yeah, it must be because of that guy rough clutched around his neck, not because of other reasons… Brought his slender figure to sit on the stone chair beside Sunggyu, Sungjong exhaled deeply and gulped his canned coffee. His cat-like eyes glanced towards Sunggyu who twirled his canned juice with a distance look. “Does it hurt?” he asked softly in a mere whisper. Giving another vague smile, Sunggyu answered, “Sort of. His strength is really something. My uniform was ripped apart, look—“ His rambling was cut off by Sungjong’s next words. “That’s not what I’m asking, Hyung. Does it hurt here?” The younger male repeated his question as touching Sunggyu’s chest gently. For that question, Sunggyu couldn’t answer. His breath quivered as his heart beat so fast. Yeah…it hurts… Although that answer was not said verbally, Sungjong could see it and sighed deeply. “I don’t understand why you did that, Hyung?” His pair of cat-like eyes locked with the hazel one. No response. “Why you never bored making him angry and treat you roughly? Why you look like….doing it on purpose….?” He only got a weak smile as response. . . Perhaps I just want to make sure that….that he hates me now…. . .  A beautiful sunset was painting the horizon right now. A breathtaking collaboration of orange and dark blue filled the sky as if hypnotizing anyone who look at it. The wind breezed smoothly, accompanying the birds went back to their nests before the night came. Dried leaves blown away by the wind, twirling on the street like an accessories for those who’re walking. However, those beautiful background was nowhere to be seen in one of the houses in th Goblet of Fire Regency. A loud bang was heard from the front door, startling  the wild birds perched on the roof. Angry steps within the house was scaring the maids, for they’re only able to look at the floor not able to say anything. Though, actually, the angry was not directed at them. Since the dark-fire-like aura was only bubbling around the two teenagers who’s still wearing their uniforms. “Why you always get in the fight with him?! At school? With the Student Council President, no less! What exactly do you want??” Yoomae snapped while threw his bag on one of the sofas. She also put herself on the fluffy cushion, following her bag. “Just looking at him make me angry!” Woohyun grunted as sit across Yoomae. The girl scoffed at the answer. “What a stupid answer! If that’s the case, you can just stay away from him and stop looking at him, no?” “You don’t understand. His mere presence angered me!” said Woohyun, still trying to pin point his reason. “Oh, look who’s talking,” Yoomae sneered lazily. “You sound like a hopeless guy who only want to get his attention, Nam Woohyun—!” Grakk!!! Yoomae stared at the guy in front of her, who just pushed the table separating them at her direction. “Control you temper, Woohyun-pabbo!” She snapped. “Your stupid fight with him is so childish and pathetic, you know. Why don’t you just admit that you still want—“ BRAKK!! PRANGG!!! Yoomae’s words cut off by Woohyun extreme action. The guy kicked the table separating them until it flipped, causing the glass on top of it crashed onto the floor. Dark orbs behind nighty-color bang stared at Yoomae in fury. Sighed deeply, Yoomae stood back from the sofa, gesturing to one of the maids, who whimpered near the wall, to tidy up the mess. “You know him, Woohyun-ah. You know he won’t do something like that….without reason. You know how he—“ Yoomae shook her head slowly between her words. Her voice was heard again with a softer tone. “Don’t make yourself regret it later, Woohyun-ah. What on the surface was not always the truth….” At those words, Woohyun only responded by clenching his jaw tightly with a trembling fist. . . “Ah! I remember now!” In one simple yet comfy apartement, Sungjong’s high pitched voice distracting Sungyu from his calculus task. The older male looked at his dongsaeng with a slightly annoyed face. “Remember what?” He asked. Not reluctant to show his irritation because his hoobae disturbed his study. “About what you did to Woohyun-hyung. I remember who you guys look like.” Sungjong’s random answer definitely didn’t enlighten Sunggyu’s confused brain. What the hell was this brat means by saying there’s someone who look like him and Woohyun? In what aspect? Their never-ending fight? As if reading his hyung confusion, Sungjong focused on his laptop, looking for something before he exclaimed happily and turned the monitor towards Sunggyu. “Here, Hyung. You guys are similar to—“ The cat-eyed male’s words was cut off because he got a phone call. Excitedly, Sungjong reached his mobile hone and walked to another room, receiving a phone from his lover. Leaving Sunggyu who still confused with the situation. A pair of Sunggyu’s small eyes shifted towards the monitor because there’s some video playing.  In an instant, this hamster-like chubby guy was drowned in the video’s scenes. . . [Hey! Stoned head! Have you cool down?] Woohyun stared at the sentence popped up from his chatting room in the laptop with irritation. [Cool enough to throw the table to you right now] he typed as respon. [Oh, try it then.I’ll make you unable to use your credit card for a whole week!] ‘Evil witch!’ Woohyun scowled towards the wall separating him and the girl who chat him right now. Deciding to just ignore the weird girl who wasted their internet connection although they could talk in person anytime, Woohyun gazed at the chatting room with annoyed face. He scowled at the bubble words from Yoomae that keep coming. [Woohyun-ah, I’m serious about what I said earlier.] [Oh yeah, rite. Just do it. I’ll steal your card when you’re asleep then!] [Not about that, Stupid!I think…… Sunggyu has his own reason….] [Never ever say his name in this house again, Yoomae!] [Don’t let yourself regret it later, Woohyun-ah….] [He’s already made a decision. It’s what he chosed.] Woohyun stared at his own words on the screen, blankly. Yeah, he’s in the position who just have to accept a one sided decision, here. Is it wrong if he reacted like any normal people will? Why should he worry about regret? He’s not the one who— The guy’s reverie was cut off when Yoomae send him another chat. [Hey, look at this video. Maybe it can cure your bad mood!] Clutched his tounge at the girl’s randomness and weirdness, Woohyun half heartedly clicked on the given link. The good connection made this guy could watch the video without buffering. And in an instant, the sliding pictures was drowning him…. . . Do you believe in magic? . . He didn’t remember when he’s falling asleep. He just realized he was sleeping when he felt the soft and warm blanket around him. With his closed eyes, he could feel light vague light penetrating his eyelids, and he heard a voice calling him. Maybe it was one of his maids. He’s annoyed, can’t they let him sleep just a little longer? “Wake up, Woohyun!” That clear voice made Woohyun opened his eyes instantly. The voice sound unfamiliar, it was neither one of his maids’ nor Yoomae’s. And the words….did he heard it right because the words were in English and not Korean? Woohyun focused his dark orbs and a guy with platinum-blonde hair and silvery-grey eyes stared back at him. By reflex, Woohyun woke up and backed away until his back bumped into the bed backboard. He’s more than surprised to see a stranger looming over him….in his bedroom…. The blonde guy snorted. “Nightmare?” he asked absentmindedly. “Wake up and get ready. We’re late for breakfast.” Following the slender guy changed his pajamas into dark pants-white shirts-grey vest-and green silver tie and also a dark long coat, Woohyun just getting confused more and more. What a strange fashion. At that time, his twin orbs realized he’s not in his bedroom. There’re three others bed in that wide room. The walls filled with…snake engraving? All of the furniture there painted in green and silver color—just like the color of that guy’s tie. Where the hell it is? Woohyun would think he’s still asleep and it was jut a dream, if only the pale with blonde haired guy didn’t touch his shoulder. “Hey, you alright?” Maybe Woohyun’s confused expression was very clear on his face so the guy stared at him….worriedly? At first, Woohyun thought he would scared or screamed to the stranger’s touch, but he couldn’t help himself remembering the guy in front of him. This platinum blonde guy was not so unfamiliar. Somehow Woohyun remember seeing him somewhere…. Ah! Woohyun remember where he saw this guy!  However, that’s really impossible! Definitely impossible! Because, if his brain was remembering it right, this guy was…. “….Draco…. Malfoy….?” The blonde guy snorted. “Good for you still remembering my name. You aren’t forget yours, rite?” Draco Malfoy said in a half mocked voice. “Now, get yourself ready. We have Potion Class first thing in the morning.” Woohyun couldn’t bring himself to move and follow what Draco Malfoy said, he’s just sat there, eyeing the pale guy tidied up his books and shoved it inside the bag. His grey cells screamed in confusion. Hey, come on! He’s Nam Woohyun, wasn’t he? He’s the King of Infinite Highschool, the only child of Nam’s Family, the only heir of Nam corp. Not….not….. NOT A BLOODY ROOMATE OF DRACO MALFOY!! “What are you waiting for? Hurry. Or I’ll leave you.” The pale guy’s cold voice was heard again, causing Woohyun to stop his confusing thoughts. By thought of being left behind, Woohyun said, “Wait me,” in panick. The fact that he said those words in English and not Korean just made his eyes spinning. Maybe he was indeed still in a dream. . . . End of Spell 1
