!!!!!Warning(s): CURSING, MENTIONS OF ABUSE, SLIGHT MENTIONS OF SEX!!!!!! Jungkook has been with Yoongi for 3 years now, and only seemed to notice recently that the older has never given presents for Christmas. It made sense - he worked all the time as a producer, even waking up in the middle of the night when inspiration came to him in a dream. He never had time to buy present for anyone - it probably wasn't fair considering there were 5 other people to give people gifts in their group of he only gets one person something. Christmas was one of the few times of the year where Jungkook didn't see dark circles around the older’s eyes, and this year he thought of going big, because it was okay if the older didn't get him anything.  The two had met on Christmas, in fact, when Namjoon had dragged Yoongi to a Christmas party when he had planned to stay home. Jungkook was only acquainted with Taehyung at the time, who became a drunk, hyper mess at the party. The drunk boy bumped into Yoongi, who had scowled upon seeing his drunken state, telling Jungkook that the boy was his best friend (unfortunately). The two then bonded about the experience of dragging Taehyung to a taxi and paying for the fare. Jungkook had been fascinated with Yoongi’s love of music, and had shared his love for art with the stranger as well. It wasn't long until the two had gone on a few dates and Jungkook had became friends with the rest of the boys. Yoongi is 4 years older - 28 years old now, compared to his 25 year old self when they had met, he had became more mature and mellow. The older had gone through a lot of shit from other people when they had gotten together - because of the age gap. Which is why --  “You look a lot taller” Yoongi observes, shoveling some more rice into his mouth.  Jungkook laughed, “you just noticed? I've been taller, hyung.”  “And muscular” he adds nonchalantly, “you've been working out a lot too. You look a lot more older than when we met - you used to look like a baby.”  “Babe?”  “You split your hair a lot now too, because it makes you look older, and not to mention you never wear your bunny slippers unless it's at home--”  “OKAY!” Jungkook hisses, cheeks red, “what's your point?”  Yoongi’s smiling now, he meets the younger’s eyes, who have been darting around in embarrassment, as though someone can hear them. However, they were in the safety of their own home, eating dinner on Christmas Eve and nobody could point out his bunny slippers by their bed besides Yoongi. The older, he noticed, is the same as he was 3 years ago physically. He got taller, of course, but he remained shorter than him. Still, he's a lot more mature and calmer than before; wiser now. His voice had dropped octaves lower (if that's even possible because it was already deep before) and he's become skilled in producing compared to 3 years ago - rambling about his dreams all the time until he got the job 6 months into their relationship.  “You grew up a lot. That's what I'm saying. Physically, and you became mature.” Yoongi said.  “That's what happens when you get older” Jungkook says sarcastically, “are you getting mushy on me?”  “We have to be mushy” he replies, but doesn't meet the other’s eyes. “We’re a couple.”  There was a bit of silence until Yoongi continued to say, softly. His voice sincere, and it makes Jungkook smile.  “You changed to get people off my case. Thanks.” Yoongi said.  Jungkook flushed, “yeah. Namjoon held a Christmas party every year, at the same building because it was perfect. There was a bar and a large space for a DJ and dance floor. The second floor was for dates or groups to sit in booths or tables and mingle, and another bar was set there. Lastly, the rooftop was for Jungkook and Yoongi.
