[M] Chapter 4: Getting lost a (1/2)
Rated just for swear words c: And finally... L.Joe!!!--------------------------"So after adding the hot water you just wait a few minutes and then voila!
You're ready to eat it!" Chanhee said looking at me. He was teaching me how to make something called 'Ramyun'.
"How do you eat it?" I asked looking at the Ramyun tub intently.
"With chopsticks.... duh" He says laughing.
"ahhh" I said in realisation. He helped me carry it to the table where we both sat down and ate.
I watched as Chanhee dipped his chopsticks into the Ramyun soup and when he brought them out he has a wad of noodles in between them. I copied him and as I placed the instant noodles into my mouth i felt as if my tastebuds were dancing.
"So goood!" I say as I dig in for more.
"I'm going out to do some errands" He said as he slipped on a red blazer.
"Eh? You can't leave me here!" I exclaim running to him.
"You're not even dressed! Plus i'm going to a district not meant for Princesses." He says patting my head.
"Please Chanhee! I'll go get dressed!" I cry out grabbing his blazers' sleeve.
"No!" he says sternly. I pout and smirk as an idea sneaks into my head.
"Please Oppa... Pretty please" I see him freeze as I call him 'Oppa'. He gives me a look then sighs heavily and shakes his head.
"Fine.Fine.Fine.. go get dressed and i'll wait for you here... You have 5 minutes." He says sternly and shakes out his wrist and cheks his watch and looks at me, a brow cocked up and a smirk etched onto his face.
I scurry over to the closet and sliped off my pyjama shorts and take off my tank top. I then quickly slipped on a smoky purple tutle neck knitted mini dress that had long sleeves. I shuffled quickly to the door and slipped on my cream coloured pump heels. I left my hair down and ran back to Chanhee quickly. Gasping for air i gripped onto his arm and smiled.
"Good.. you made it on time.. with 34 seconds to spare" He said as he locked the door and walked us down. After a short drive I found myself in a shady looking part of Seoul. The bright coloured signs weren't welcoming and fun but creepy and dodgey looking. Girls in nothing but a dish cloth draped over their bodies and heels that broke my ankle just looking at them were scattered everywhere.
My eyes were too occupied by the new sights that I hadn't realised i'd wandered from Chanhee. When I reached out to grab his hand for comfort, I had only touched the empty feeling of air and nothingness.
I began to panic and twist my head in all directions, looking for him. He wasn't anywhere. I walked farther into the dodgey district and still no sign of Chanhee. I was about to give up hope until I bumbped into someone. Hoping it was Chanhee I looked up and saw a creepy looking man. His skinny body was wrapped in a curry brown trench coat and baggy grey jeans. His face unshaved and deep purple semi circles dropped under his eyes.
I gulped as his thin and dry cracked lips curved into a smile.
"Hello little girl. Feel like coming with me for fun?" His voice was deep, husky and unwelcoming. I slowly shook my head.
"Come on" He said and gave me a look that sent sivers down my spine. Once again I shook my head.
"Come on" he repeated and reach out his hand to grab my arm. I screamed as his hand came closer. I shut my eyes and called for Chanhee under my breath.
His hand never seemed to touch me and I opened my eyes to see an unfamiliar face. His eyes were narrowed and his jaw squared.
"Back.Off" He said through his clenched teeth. I gulped as the scrawny begger gulped and quickly scurried off.
"You ok?" His voice sounded less harsh as he turned his attention to me. I nodded slowly but grasped my chest and gulped down the lump in my throat.
"What's your name?" He asked me.
"Song Haeyeon" I said nervously.
"L.Joe" He replied and smiled. "Anyways.. take care" he said and turned to walk off.
"wait!" I called out quickly. He stopped and turned to look at me.
"I'm.. Lost" I admit nibbling my bottom lip furiously. He chuckled lightly before nodding his head motioning me to follow him. I followed suit as we entered one of the clubs.
The room was quiet and empty. Nothing to what Chanhee had led me to believe clubs to be.
"It's too early for this club to open honey" L.Joe said answering my thoughts and smirking. I nodded slightly and followed him to a room at the back. he walked over to a wall with some sort of list.
