They arrive at the safe house and Kris is looking at the house with a little bit of relief and then his eyes lock in with Sunggyu's and their eyes are doing the talking to each other, saying that they saw the same person from the glimpse before they walked into the portal door."How long has it been?" The tall young man asks about the time."20 minutes." Sunggyu says while looking at Dongwoo and Woohyun who are casting protective charms and shields around the house while Kris is looking around to make sure that the house is empty and safe."Should I make the call?" Kris asks."No... you need to wait for 15 minutes more." Sunggyu says making the tall young man nod.The tall young man helps Dongwoo and Woohyun with the shields which he still has not mastered that department as protective spells and charms are Chanyeol's specialty while he's much more into using magic to fight and he knows every spell for such in his head since he's using it with the council's work and how he wishes Chanyeol is here with him right now."Did you see who I saw back there?" Sunggyu asks  the tall young man making Kris nod while looking at one of his best friends while he were training at the Magic Land."I didn't think he would go to that side... since, you know, Hangeng killed his family for using forbidden magic against the council leader." The tall young man says making Sunggyu nod."It was a good plan by Jonghyun's parents, they have disliked the elder council for a long time but I heard rumors that there were inside people who broke the plan to the elder council, do you think Jonghyun himself broke it out?" Sunggyu asks making the tall young man sigh a little."He's an outcast from his family but we do know that he loves his family... there must be something that is tying him up to the elder council for him to be on that other side." The tall young man says making Sunggyu nod."We are cleared sir, you can make the call." Dongwoo says making Kris nod and he opens up a big mirror to see the other side of the world and he's glad to see Chanyeol's face and behind him are his parents and even Joshua and Irene who came back once they heard about his situation even though they are still in school."Is everyone safe?" Taecyeon asks while looking at his son making the tall young man smile a little and nod."Everyone is okay... you are at the palace, Dad... is Jun there?" The tall young man asks making the elder sigh a little."He is here, walking through the door took out his energy and he collapsed as soon as he arrived; he is sleeping right now." Taecyeon says making Kris nod as he knows that normal people are not accustomed  to the portal door like that."How about Taeyong? Can I see him?" Kris asks."I'm here Daddy." The young child says making Kris smile."I can't take too long in using the mirror since they will know where I am if I keep it longer, stay with mommy and the others Taeyong-ah... I'll be home soon, I promise." The tall young man says to his son and then he looks at his father with a hopeful look."What are you going to do Kris?" Fei asks her son with a worried look on her face."Chanyeol will do the necessaries and I trust him with my life, the others will be coming to the palace too and my guys will protect you until I come home... it won't be long Mom." The tall young man says."Hyung, I want to help... let me help." Joshua says while looking at his brother."You could help by helping your Chanyeol hyung, you are good at spells and charms like him... the palace needs to be protected and our home in Seoul has probably been attacked by now... could you ask one of my men to go spy on the house, the maids are still there, I am worried about their safety." Kris says making Taecyeon nod and he looks at Irene who already knows the signal which she and Fei already opened a door to the other side of the wall."Sir... it's reaching the limits, we need to break it away fast." Sunggyu says making the tall young man sigh and look at the faces of the people he loves the most and his eyes fall to his son."You are the man of the house now Taeyong, remember what I said when I am not around you and your mother's side... you have to be the leader of our family... Mommy and Nari need you, don't cry on me Taeyong-ah... I know how strong you are." Kris says to his son when he sees that there is a start of tears wanting to come out from Taeyong's eyes."But I don't have my magic... how could I protect Mommy and Nari?" The young child asks making Kris smile a little."Even without magic, you can still protect mommy and Nari... not all depends on magic son, trust your heart and instincts, okay?" The tall young man says."I will Daddy... I will stay with Mommy." The young child says making the tall young man nods."That's my boy..." Kris wants to say more but Sunggyu's already giving him a second warning."We have to go sir... it is not safe to stay in contact with the mirror for too long." The leader of the team says and Kris sighs and understands the instruction which is for their safety."Tell Jun that I love him Dad... I'll come home soon... I promise." The tall young man says and the connection ended just like that and Sunggyu could only look at him with sorry."I'm sorry sir... I had to..." The leader says making Kris shake his head."I'm fine... just, seeing Taeyong's face like that really broke my heart." The tall young man says."Same with us sir... but, he is really strong even without his powers... he's been learning a lot of things since he was young, I know he could protect his mother and the others as well." Woohyun says.Hearing that about his son is making Kris's heart bloom a little and he knows that Taeyong could take good care of himself. "Then what are we planning for our escape? I don't think we could stay here for long." The tall young man asks and Sunggyu opens up about his plan by using his magic and he explains everything in detail and Kris is nodding as it is the plan that they've talked about in months if ever a situation like this might happen to him and his family.   Taeyong has been staying at his mother's side after talking to his father and stares at his mother's face with a worried look. Slowly, he squirms closer to Suho's side and lies down as he holds his mother's hand before slowly falling to a deeper sleep.After hours of sleeping, the small young man wakes up with a sigh and he could feel that one of his shoulders feels a little bit heavy and he sees Taeyong sound asleep on his side making Suho smile a little and brush the small handsome face with love and then move his hand to the small back to cuddle up the young child in his arms. Taeyong starts mumbling in his sleep making Suho pat on the small back wanting the young child to have more sleep."Jun?" A voice calls out making the small young man turn his head and he sees his mother in his woman form looking at him with worry."Mom..." The small young man says with a soft voice."I'm glad... I was worried that you might not wake up." The elder woman says making Suho slowly move from his bed and glance at Taeyong who is still asleep."How long have i been sleeping?" Suho asks."Two to three hours, Kris says that traveling through the portal might've exhausted you and Tao asked to call him when you wake up since he's worried about the baby." The elder woman says making the small young man feel a ting in his heart when his mother mentions Kris's name and he remembers what happened the last few hours and the last words that he had with his husband."He made contact with the palace?" Suho asks with a worried and sad look on his face."Yes... barely, when you arrived after 45 minutes or so... he is fine and Taeyong got to talk to him, I better call Tao to ask him to come and look at you." The elder woman says making Suho hold his mother for a while and see her son's sad look. Heechul sighs and brings Suho to her arms."Everything's going to be fine... Chanyeol says they are going to spend the night there and then move along to another place, Kris will contact you very soon... he cannot stay for long since they might trace his hideout." The elder woman says making the small young man burst into tears as he is fearing for his husband's safety."I don't know what is going on... why are they doing this to my family? What do they want from Kris?" The small young man asks while sobbing."I know sweetheart... Chanyeol and the others are still looking into this and they are collecting information... you, on the other hand, need more rest and I think you should take a hot bath and I will bring some food for you, Tao will be here soon and if there is news I will tell you immediately." Heechul says while brushing the beautiful face that is covered with tears and Suho nods sadly looking at his mother and taking the suggestion that he needs to calm his mind down and to stay strong for his husband.After the hot bath, Suho comes out from the bathroom and he sees Tao already inside his room setting up his medical equipment making the small young man sigh a little."You are here again... what about your work at the hospital?" Suho asks making the tall young doctor turn his head and look at Suho with a small smile."You are my patient and a really special one for me... you know that, right? I make my time free whenever your matter comes up." The tall young doctor says making Suho smile and sit down at the sofa and the living area in his room already changed into a medical room for him."Don't talk like that... Kai might get jealous hearing such words coming from you." The small young man says."He has a new love now... our child has grown another year and he's already excited to adopt another one and our time together has become less... should I just find a new lover?" Tao teasingly asks making Suho smack at the tall young doctor with annoyance."He changed because you seduced him... don't do that to him, he loves you very much." Suho sternly says making Tao smile"Good energy there, I think you are better than I thought... still, we have to check on the baby." Tao says making the small young man sigh and lay down at the sofa while Tao pours the gel and starts the scan machine on and both of them see the baby on the monitor as the scanner touches Suho's belly."Taeyong seems fine... I just checked on him while you were having your bath." Tao says while looking at Suho's calm face."Of course he is... he is the son of his father and he's much stronger than I am... he is my pillar to survive if Kris is not here." The small young man says and there is brimming of tears on Suho's eyes making the tall young doctor smile a little."Don't think like that... I have talked to Chanyeol just now, Kris seems to be doing fine and he is on his set of plans so, he will come back to your side soon." Tao says making the small young man nod."I know..."
