A Love thats Deeper than (1/1)

The first meeting at the main house of royals is just light; team and project introduction and general overview, and everything seems to be in order but there will be follow up meetings which will be held for three days as it would cover lots of topics each meeting making the tall young man feel much more exhausted since it's been so long since he went out from Magic Land and the air from the Royal Land and Magic Land are just too different making him easily be beat up by the hot summer."Kris you look pale, how about you come with us to the hotel and get some rest before you go home... it is not that far from here." One of the young council  members, who are in the same age as he is, says making the tall young man sigh a little."I think I should take the offer and guys... I can't drive when I'm feeling like this." Kris says making both of the young man with him laugh and take the car keys from the tall young man and they drive the car to the hotel. Even though they could fully use everything that the hotel and the royal family has provided for the three of them, they are still using Kris's car to drive around.One of the young council members park the car near the hotel and the three of them walk out with tired looks on their faces, especially Kris. Then, the tall young man gets startled when he bumps into a familiar face that he has not seen in a long time."Jun..." The tall young man says and Suho looks at the tall young man with knitted brows at first, then a surprised look on his face."Kris... what are you doing here?" The small young man asks and Kris looks at his council friends and sighs a little."Sending my colleagues to their hotel, I didn't know that you were managing this hotel too." The tall young man says."No, I'm not managing this hotel... I have business to attend to here and was just on my way back to the main royal hotel." The small young man says with a cool look on his face."Ahhh, I see... then let me introduce you to my colleagues; this is N and Leo, they have been my best friends while I was training there." The tall young man says and both of them say hello while wondering who the small young man is."Nice to meet you... I'm Kim Jumyeon, one of the royal princes in the royal house." The small young man says making both N and Leo nod in recognition as they remember who Suho is and then they both look at the tall young man with curiosity."Weren't you guys an item? I mean... you guys have a child together, right? Everyone knows about it at Magic Land." N says making Kris glare at the tall dark young man and N flinches a little and Leo smacks at N's back with annoyance."In the past, we were a couple... and yes, we have a son together, want to meet him?" Suho asks making the tall young man sigh and pinch his temple."No... not now, sorry Jun... I have work to do and have things to review... if you want to talk, we should arrange it for some other time." The tall young man says making the small young man a little bit speechless and just put on a small smile for the tall young man."Yes, of course... some other time then, if you'll excuse me." The small young man says and he bows politely to the three young men and walk out from the main door without looking back."God... you are so heartless." Leo says while shaking his head and then the three of them head to the elevator and go to their suite and starts to make some reviews while the tall young man takes a short nap before continuing with his work and coming home in the middle of dawn."Mom?" The tall young man says as he gets surprised when he sees his mother still awake as the clock is already showing 2 in the morning."Welcome home sweetheart... have you had dinner?" The elder woman asks making Kris sigh and stare at the ageless face who has been taking care of him since his mother passed away when he was young."I had it with the other council members, why are you still up, Mom? Can't sleep?" The tall young man asks making Fei sigh and look at her son with a small smile."I'm doing a small project for my grandson, his birthday will be coming soon." The elder woman says making Kris knit his brows."What is it?" Kris asks."It's a secret... it's something that he could sleep with and it will remind him of me." The elder woman says and Kris brushes on the elder woman's shoulder with a worried look on his face."It's already 2 in the morning, Mom, you should rest." The tall young man says making Fei nod."Just a little while more." The elder woman says making Kris shake his head."No, Mom... please, put everything away for the night, you could always continue to do it tomorrow." The tall young man says making Fei sigh and put away the halfway done patch up blanket that Kris used to have when he was small."You should rest too sweetheart, you look tired." The elder woman says as they both head to the second floor."I will when I see you go to your bedroom with my own eyes." The tall young man says making Fei laugh and Kris follows his mother to the main bedroom and walk closer to his mother's side and brushes on her shoulder with love."Good night, Mom." The tall young man says as he leans down to his mother's height and puts a small kiss on Fei's cheek making the elder woman smile and brush on the handsome face with love."Good night, sweetheart, I'll see you in the morning." Fei says and she slips behind the door while Kris stands outside for a few minutes before he turns himself to his own room.The tall young man sighs as he pulls away his necktie and throws his bag at his work table at the other side of the bedroom. He then walks into the bathroom to wash up since he feels so sluggish due to the warm weather outside.Kris remembers the surprised look on Suho's face when they met up today and the small young man still looks the same even though they have not seen each other for three years, Suho looks just as beautiful as he remembers.The tall young man closes his eyes and he remembers the first day that he arrived at the chamber room of punishment, the whispers and the voices were freaking him out since they mimicked Suho's voice while saying that he should move on and forget about what they had in the past and sometimes, there are hateful words coming out from that voice making Kris almost go mad in that chamber and because of that voice, Kris kept dreaming about something unreal about Suho. He knew it was part of the punishment and spells that the elder wizards casted to torture him making him hate and give up on the one that he loves which he slowly did, eventually making him how he is now.They put an image of Suho walking hand in hand with Lay and showing his only son smiling and laughing with Suho when Lay holds both of their hands, those images made him angry and he cursed everyone's name in the image that he's seen. His reaction to the punishment lasted for 9 months and after that, Kris stopped screaming, stopped cursing and his body has become much skinnier since he could not consume any food and only drink water for the whole 9 months.The punishment was just torture on his emotions and kept creeping on his head. It is a lesson that he needed to learn; "you cannot control another person's life, you can only control your own life." The old wizard told him when he finally calmed down and no longer called out Suho or Lay's name.A year after that, he was released but still under supervision and started working with the council openly since he showed a good nature while serving his punishment and because he is the descendant of the legendary witch that once caused turmoil in the royal family's history, though they are not proud of what the witch has done, she is still part of an elite family and Kris is her direct descendant.The tall young man was given a place of his own and started to fully work at the council as an engineering and qrchitectural advisor since the tall young man had the qualifications.The Magic Land and Royal Land are not much different, it's just that Magic Land is a little bit smaller than the Royal Land as it just takes 1/4 of the country in every country that has witches and wizards around the world.New rules and treaties have been implemented after Kim Taeyong was confirmed to be the solution for the curse and breaking it after thousands of years that the royals have been suffering to have their males born living with two genders. Kris's work has become much busier and there are a lot to plan and of course, Magic Land wanted to use the treaty to expand more of what they wanted for their people and to become one unified nation.Those wishes are now Kris's burden to bear since the council has a lot of hope for everything to go smoothly and appointed Kris to be one of the leaders who will fully utilize the treaty between the witches, wizards and the royals.Finishing washing up, he goes to his closet to get changed and flops to his bed with a tired look on his face. The small young man's face is still dancing in his head making the tall young man sigh and shake it off by muttering a few spells that he's still learning from the old wizard who has been his teacher ever since he agreed to learn magic and to know who he was and his family and all his heritage starting from the legendary witch who was his great great great grandmother.   "Good morning son" The elder man says while looking at Kris who just enters the kitchen area and the maid prepares a bowl for him making the tall young man smile and bow to the maid politely."Morning Dad... Mom..." Kris says and sips his coffee and then takes his first bite of the warm rice which makes the tall young man sigh with pleasure."Today you will be going to the royal house again?" Taecyeon asks."Yeah... today will be the last day that I will be going there and for the rest of the day, I have to deal with the real estate people about the building that we're buying for the office that we will be setting up here in Seoul." The tall young man says making the elder man nod."Which building did you buy to set up the company?" Taecyeon asks."One of the royal's buildings, they sold it to us at a cheap price, I think it's kind of nice since I saw a few pictures of it... it's a new building, they never used it or rented it to other people." The tall young man says."How long are you planning on setting up the company and start working there?" Fei asks her son while she puts an extra serving of eggs for Kris making the elder man looking at his wife with a little pout."Honey... I want some too."
