Hae Won opened her slightly swollen eyes painfully slowly adjusting to the light. A ray of sun escaped the curtain slightly blinding her vision. Taking in the unfamiliar enviroment Hae Won remembered where she was. At Ji Yong's. The fact send shivers down her spine, she wanted to dissapear, just vanish from this house but she have to do this. Sitting down she looks at her ruffled cotton dress, her messed up hair and sigh.Clueless what to do she sat in there staring at her watch 7.30am. Sounds of footsteps approaching came and Hae Won sat stiff, afraid and nervous. A motherly soft voice came 'Hae Won are you awake?'  relieve Hae Won stood and turned to kim ahjushi's wife. 'ahjumma, morning' she said. 'why did you sleep in the living room my dear, your back will hurt' she lightly rubbed Hae Won's shoulder. Hae Won didn't miss the pitiful look ahjumma had for her. Bitting her lip she whispered 'its ok' 'Hae Won, go take your bath, come follow me' Ahjuma holds her hand and brought her to the guest room at the ground floor. This must be the room Ji Yong told her last night. Hae Won took in the room, high walls, modern furnitures, a lot of mirrors. 'Hae Won, Ahjumma will be in the kitchen, i'll leave fresh clothes on the bed later ok, go take your bath' Hae Won just nods, relieved for a chance to bathe. Under the heavy stream of water Hae Won bit her lower lip, restless and anxious with how today would turn out Coming to meet Ji Yong was not an easy decision. How many nights did she spend staring at the hotel's ceiling? juggling with her choices. Rubbing her skin with a foam of soap she can't believe she's finally here. Landing a position in Seoul's main hospital she will start working in a month time. it's high time she serve for her people. Her parents who are currently in Jeju urged her to meet Ji Yong. Her dad strictly instructed her to settle their unfinish business. Her face fall. It's not fair for him. 9 years is a long period of time but God knows the memories were still vivid. She was a 2nd year in a Dublin medical school when her dad called her home for 2 weeks. At 19 confused Hae Won could only cry. Meeting Ji Yong only made it worst. She only saw a cold soul that intimidated her in every way. His words were distant and his actions diminish. Even their wedding was joyless. Instead of a sweet loving kiss a usual groom would give his bride, she only received a glare that made her heart tumbled down her feet. deep inside the insecure romantic girl was hurt. At their wedding night, Hae Won gathered her last courage and explained Ji Yong her dream of traveling around the world, serving as a volunteer doctor. Wanting his approval for her to leave. All she received was a punishing nod and Ji Yong never returned to their house until next morning, The next morning ahjumma passed her a flight ticket back to Dublin dating a week later. He's sending her back. Her father called and informed her that Ji Yong explained them everything and they have reached an aggrement. too much things were in her mind that Hae Won never knew what Ji Yong told them A week passed fast. Living with Ji Yong was hard as he treated her like a stranger or worst like an unwanted intruder. Dismissing her acts eventhought she tried to be understanding, thoughtfull, witty and nice. He barely talks, sometimes the silence killing her. Barely at home, if he was actually there he avoided her. At times he looked at her like she's something that  he wanted to badly get rid of. In the end she left with her ego bruised. He didn't even send her. Sitting in the plane face drenched with tears she finally gave up.Now, blowing her hair infront of the mirror Hae Won's heartbeat started to increase. Last night encounter with Ji Yong only reminded her, her feelings for him, afraid. How 'time' have not changed that little fact. His pressence still took the whole room making her felling tiny and breathless.  Opening the bathroom's door she made sure no one was there and came out. A white oversize shirt and short grey sweat pants layed on the bed. Putting them on Hae Won realized it must be Ji Yong's. She was tying the pants tighter when the door opened. Hae Won who was suprised looked at the door. Ji Yong stood there in a leather jacket and jeans.
