They were shooting for Running Man episode 239 today. Everyone started in pairs somewhere else except for Jong Kook who started alone. So it was right that Jong Kook is the only one starting alone. They started their own task at different places to get a secret key for their mission that day. After everyone completed their task and received a key each one, they gather under a close tent at an open field to meet and greet each other. Ji-hyo is feeling nervous the moment Jong Kook walks in but she’s surprised that Jong Kook had actually come alone.“Did he just lie about his partner then? Chih!!” Ji-hyo talk inside herself.When everyone arrived, they sit at a round table for the next instruction starting with Jae-suk, Shi Kyung, Dong Hyun, Haha, Jong Kook, Kwang Soo, Suk Jin, Ji-hyo and Gary. After listening to the briefing for their next task, Ji-hyo didn’t realize when did Jong Kook came and stand in between her and Gary. As if having clues on Jong Kook and Ji-hyo’s relationship, Suk Jin also move and stand in between Jong Kook and Gary making Gary farther to Ji-hyo. But Gary didn’t realize this.Dong Hyun stated his intention to defeat Jong Kook that day and being pissed with Jong Kook’s lies earlier, Ji-hyo didn’t hesitate to support and cheer for Dong Hyun to kick out Jong Kook. When they dismiss to go to the next location, Jong Kook was fast enough to pinch Ji-hyo’s hand and stop Ji-hyo from walking out.“Wae?” Ji-hyo asked slowly.“Seems like you are happy that Dong Hyun wanna kick me out,” Jong Kook whispered, not wanting anyone else to hear them.“N-neh! Ji-hyo, Haha and Kwang Soo stand in Zone 1, while Jong Kook, Suk Jin and Gary stand in Zone 2 and Jae-suk, Dong Hyun and Shi Kyung is the first group that will start. They need to run to Zone 1 and drop the people in Zone 1 on a balloon to blow up the balloon then proceed to Zone 2 and repeat the same action. The first to reach the end is the winner and in the first group, Dong Hyun is the winner.Next group to run is Ji-hyo, Haha and Kwang Soo. Ji-hyo manage to defeat Jae-suk in Zone 1 and run to Zone 2 leading the others. When she almost reach Zone 2, she already get confused on who she should pick to go against. She look at Jong Kook but since she’s still pissed at him and knowing that her boyfriend is a jealous tiger, she purposely pick Gary who voluntarily wannna let her win. The moment she went to Gary, Suk Jin quickly glance at Jong Kook and saw his frustration which confirmed his curiousity about Jong Kook and Ji-hyo. Suk Jin couldn’t stop smiling with Jong Kook’s expression especially when Gary taking advantage with the hugging. Jong Kook tried to not look at them. Ji-hyo reach the end and win for that round.In the next round when it’s Jong Kook, Suk Jin and Gary’s turn, Ji-hyo returned Gary’s favor and happily opens her arms to hugs Gary and let him win. Jong Kook doesn’t seem interested to compete anymore and that reached his limits.Everyone starts to argue about Ji-hyo and Gary’s cooperation to let each other wins and Suk Jin purposely tease them by asking if they are getting back together? Of course at this point, Jong Kook doesn’t show any interest in the conversation. It even leads to further frustration when Ji-hyo seems so happy about it.In the final round, Ji-hyo race against Gary and Dong Hyun for the extra secret key. All three of them succeeded at Zone 1 but when it comes to Zone 2, Dong Hyun went to Jong Kook which is a tough fight. Gary fight against Kwang Soo who will never surrender easily while Ji-hyo had no choice but to go to Shi Kyung. She thought she will have a hard time since Shi Kyung seems tough but to her surprised, Shi Kyung gave her an easy win. Jong Kook suspected something fishy with Shi Kyung but he tried to hold his curiosity. They went to the final mission where they need to open the lockers with their secret key and get the chance to double up their coins. They also can eliminate the other person by ripping their name tags and claimed the loser’s coins. Jong Kook saw this as his opportunity without tiring himself to keep searching for the chance card.Shi Kyung met Ji-hyo at an elevator and he seems like he has not clue of what’s going on. He hasn’t even open a locker yet so Ji-hyo decided to go with him. Jong Kook actually has other strategies. Since there’s only four person now, Jong Kook decided to oust them and get their coins. He even team up with Dong Hyun to help him oust Shi Kyung and Ji-hyo so that he and Dong Hyun will battle in the final round and see who’s the real winner.When Jong Kook reach 13th Floor, he saw Ji-hyo and Shi Kyung on the other side. Ji-hyo and Shi Kyung quickly ran away from Jong Kook but Jong Kook tried to bait them to talk although he’s boiling inside when Shi Kyung kept holding Ji-hyo’s hand. Added to his frustration, Ji-hyo shouted to him that she’s protecting Shi Kyung just like a warrior.Ji-hyo and Shi Kyung keep running away when they met a dead end especially when Dong Hyun showed up. Ji-hyo and Shi Kyung were trapped at a corner but Ji-hyo still being a cutie trying to protect Shi Kyung. She’s more to the intention to make Jong Kook jealous of her and Shi Kyung.But Dong Hyun finally get to ripped Ji-hyo’s nametag while Jong Kook was ousted for taking off Shi Kyung’s nametag that has ‘reflect’ behind it which means the person who ripped the tag will be out. This is the final frustration for Jong Kook which makes him lie down on the floor. In the end, Dong Hyun wins the race and gets the money as his prize.
