CHAPTER ONE Loud cracks could be heard as the man snapped his neck to each side. Her attention switched to the two men who began to approach behind him. They each held metal baseball bats and she could see that one of them had a knife strapped on to his side. The glare from the sun reflected on to it and it was quite bright enough for anyone to notice it.Hana smirked, "Oh, come on. Weapons? That's no fun."  She spoke. She cocked her head to the side with a crooked smile as the two of them began to take action. One of them dragged the metal baseball bat across the cement, thinking that it was going to shake her up, but it didn't. The other one tossed his metal baseball bat to the side and pulled out the knife that was strapped on to him. The guy with the bat striked at her first. He swung the bat towards her head, but she easily dodged it. With her swift skills, she tripped the guy as she ducked and he fell down with a loud thud. Then, the guy with the knife attacked. Because she was so occupied at the guy on the floor, the guy managed to stab through her arm. Hana grunted as she felt the sudden pain come from her left arm. She roughly kicked the guy's wrist, making the knife fall to the ground, then swung at him and gave him a hard punch to the face."That was a lucky shot." She said as she brought her right hand up to hold on to her wound. The man who was still standing smirked at her remark, "We'll be back.." He said, helping the two on the ground up before leaving the area.Hana made sure they were actually gone before leaning on to the brick wall. She took her hand off of the wound just for a second, and there was already a lot of blood on it. She cursed under her breath as she forced herself to bare with the pain and began to look for the nearest shop. She couldn't go to the hospital to treat it because she couldn't pay it off in any way, so she just had to treat it herself.

The sound of bells chimed throughout the shop as she opened the door and entered. The shop was unfamiliar to her, so she had to ask the cashier where the first-aide isle was. When he told her, she walked off to search for it. As she searched for the first-aide isle, she had accidentally bumped into a boy. He was with a few other boys and all of them looked like they were trying to hide their faces. Each other literally had on either a face mask, or wore dark tinted shades. Hana didn't think much of it, so she just bowed her head and continued to walk. When she finally found it, she grabbed the cheapest first-aide kit. She decided to buy a kit instead of the individual things because it was quicker and she couldn't bare with the pain anymore. She just wanted to buy it and leave. She walked her way towards the front of the shop and stood behind the boys who she bumped into earlier. One of them kept on eyeing her, probably because of her bloody hand. Her wound wasn't that visible because she was wearing a black hoody.Hana suddenly began to feel light-headed. Maybe because of all of the blood she was losing. She brought her clean hand up to her forehead as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes, she saw one of the boys walk towards her. She saw him mouth something, but for some reason she couldn't hear anything. All she could hear was a high pitched sound in her ears and before she knew it, her legs began to give up and she could feel herself falling. The last thing she felt before passing out was someone's warm embrace.

Her eyes slowly fluttered open. The sound of contant beeps began to fade in as she kept on blinking her eyes. Her vision was a little blurry at first, but it got better as she kept blinking. When she saw a boy's face appear in front of her, she immediately sat up and accidentally bumped heads with him."What the hell?.." Her voice croaked as she rubbed her forehead. As she looked at her surroundings, she noticed that she was in the hospital. The moment she realized that, she threw off the thin blanket that was on her and stood up but staggered a little. The boy gently held on to her shoulders to help her stand up."Whoa, where do you think you're going?" The boy said.Hana furrowed her brows as she looked up at the boy. His hair was a light shade of blue and his skin was fairly pale. She assumed that he was a weirdo because of the color of his hair. Hana took a step back as she pushed his hands off of her."What are you trying to do to me, creep?!" Hana raised her voice. The boy raised one of his eyebrows when she called him a creep. "I'm a creep?" He scoffed as he pointed at himself, "Me?"Hana took another step back as the boy came closer to her. She tried to back up again, but she already reached the wall so she couldn't go any further. One corner of the boy's lips rose as she looked straight into her eyes and leaned forward. He placed each of his hands on the wall, trapping her between his arms. When he saw the look of fear slowly beginning to show on her face, he smirked."This is what you call a 'creep'." He said before standing up right and shoving both of his hands into the pockets of his hoody.Hana scoffed, "Who the hell are you then?" She asked him, but he only continued to smirk."Now that you're awake and fine, I'll be leaving." The boy said as he began to walk towards the door. Her eyes widened as he walked out the door. There was no way she could pay off the medical bill, and she panicked. Hana quickly ran after him and as she caught up to him, she grabbed on to his wrist."Wait! You're just going to leave? Just like that? Y-You're not even going to pay for my bill?" She stuttered a bit as she spoke. The boy scoffed, "Why should I? That's your problem."Hana stared at him in disbelief, "But you brought me here!" She yelled. She expected him to say yes and pay for it, but instead he shook off her grip on his wrist and continued to walk down the hall. Hana continued to stare at his backside in disbelief as she just stood there and sighed. She was screwed. The only money she had was the one she had in her pockets, and that isn't nearly enough to pay for the bill. She sighed once more before taking the elevator down to the main floor.Hana awkwardly smiled at the girl behind the counter as she slowly apporached her, "U-Uh.. hey~" She began, "Is there any other way I can pay off my bill? Like cleaning? Anything?"The girl shook her head, "I'm sorry, no there isn't..  If you don't pay, you'll have to be turned into the police and wait for your guardian to bail you out." She said as she began to pick up the phone.Hana rapidly waved her hands around, "N-no! No! Don't call the police-""How much is the bill?" A voice asked. The girl's face was full of shock when she saw who it was, "Suga-ssi.." She cleared her throat, "It's ten thousand.." She told him.Suga?..Hana turned to see the blue-haired boy whow as now standing next to her. She watched as he pulled out a golden card and then handed it to the girl. He turned only to look at her and sigh."Oh- I thought you weren't going to pay?" She asked.

He sighed again, "Just pay me back later.""How am I supposed to pay you back when I don't even have any money to pay for it in the first place? I don't have that kind of money." She questioned. He smirked, crossed his arms and then stared at her for a while before answering her. "Work for me."[A/N]: Anything italicized is what Hana is thinking. ^^
