Ice-Cream on the Han (1/1)
They made some tea and sat at the table. Jinyoung watched Yui nervously site her lip while rubbing the side of the cup. "So, what did you do?"~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Yui gulped then started, "So after the accident, grandma and grandpa had decieded to let me carry on my studies in the music department I was in while Chichi and Haha were alive." Gongchan interupted her, "Wait Chichi and Haha? Who are they?" "Oh ya, Korean. Appa and Umma. Well I was still studying there and I got into a fight and expelled from the school." Jinyoung raised an eyebrow, "I was wondering why you were studying in Korea for a while there. And why were you fighting in the first place?" She sighed, "I promised Rina I wouldn't tell anybody. And I wish that everyone would have left me alone in Japan. But no, Yui needs to go to military school to straighten out her act." Baro's eyes widened, "You were in military school?" Yui chuckled, "At least twenty different ones. Plus five all girls boarding schools, one public school that I actually don't know why I got kicked out of, and two nunneries. None of which had a decent music program and worse people there than me." "How did you get kicked out of that many schools?" JInyoung scolded the girl. "Fighting, speaking my mind and I think I was set up at that one public school. I hadn't even been there a week and somebody blew up a toilet and blamed me. What kind of idiot blows up a toilet? I didn't even have a reason to dislike the school, never the less blow up school property. I mean, Jinyougn-kun, you know that I don't do anything without a good reason." Cnu leaned forward, "Well then what was your reason for fighting in the first school?" "I already told you. Rina would personally come and kill me if I told anybody about that. Either way, why would I tell a bunch of people that I just met today about my best friend's private life?" Yui glared at him and then ran her hand through her hairs. "And now that old geezer finally got it through his thick head that I wanted to be where the music was. Saying, 'Jinyoung is in a band and the boys in it are all good influences. So you're going to go stay with him and if you mess up we're actually putting you into the military. They could use a problem child like you.' So here I am, sitting with my cousin and his band, waiting for the old man to stop by with my guitar. Overall it's quite a happy situation for me, but I'm sure you guys don't see it that way. I am a problem child and invading on your little sanctuary. I'll try my hardest to not be in the way." Yui stood up and bowed. She rinsed out her empty tea cup and smiled back at the group. "If you don't mind I'm going to go for a walk. I have a friend to visit here so I shall be back later." She bowed again and grabbed her sweatshirt and left. Sandeul turned to Jinyoung, "What was the accident that she was talking about in the begining?" The leader looked down at the table. "Yui's aprents were both in the music industry. She also had two younger twin brothers. Her family was her everything. They did everything together and were pretty much all that everybody wishes their family was. Seven years ago they were heading to one of Yui's concerts. She was evidently going to reveal her voice to everybody at the concert. They were driving there when a semitruck swirved off to the side of the road, taking Yui's cars with him. She was in a coma for a week and when she woke up they had to tell her what happened. Appartently the truck driver had fallen asleep at the wheele and she was the only survivor. Her mom had just told her that she was pregnant again and her brothers were only five. The doctors said it was a miracle that Yui got out with a few broken bones. After the funeral she stayed in Japan for a few months and then she got in trouble for something. Evidently fighting and came to South Korea for a bit then apparently went to continue her studies elsewhere." Baro was confused, "Did you really not know where she was for the past seven years?" Jinyoung nodded, "She's like the black sheep of the family that everyone thinks is taboo to talk about. Really the only people who care about her is my grandmother and I. But then again her entire family were the black sheep. Not only was the entire family musically amazing, they were really smart. Her brother's had about the vocabulary equivilant of a fifteen year old. Her father was offered a job as a rocket scientist and her mother graduated top ten in the country. Yui may not seem like it but she was always three years ahead of the rest of the kids her age. My family always saw her's as a waste of brain power because they could have done anything, but they wanted to make music." "She doesn't act like a genius." Cnu said remembering their conversation earlier. "That's because she is forgetful and quirky and ADHD." Jinyoung looked over at where Yui had been sitting and noticed the iPhone there. "Um, who's phone is that?" The boys shrugged. The leader sighed and hit his head on the table. "Lets go find my cousin before she falls into the Han." The chuckled a bit and headed out. B1A4 search Seoul for Yui seprately. Sandeul waited at home. Jinyoung went towards the clubs, thinking maybe she was heading for the music. Sandeul went towards the shopping district and Baro towards dining. Cnu, not knowing where else she could be, headed towards the Han. They had no luck for about a hour and were getting discoraged, when Cnu spotted a girl eating ice-cream underneath a cherry blossom tree. He texted the rest of the group, 'Found her. We'll be on our way home in a few. -CNU' He walked over and casually sat next to her. Yui was startled and looked at him like a deer in the headlights. "Oh it's just you." she said, relaxing a bit and topok another lick at her ice-cream. "So did you forget something at the house?" Cnu asked and she shrugged. "Welling seeing that you're here, the chances of me leaving something important are practically 100%. But I don't know what it is. I have shoes. I have underwear. I have pants and a shirt. I even have a sweatshirt. Did I forget to take my medication? No, the old man practically forced it down my throat this morning. I give up. What did I forget?" Yui glanced over at him as he pointed to his phone. "Oh yeah. I guess that's kind of important." She resumed eating and Cnu rolled his eyes. "Are you really a genius? I think Jinyoung was just making a mountain out of a mole hill." Yui dropped her ice-cream and scowled at it. "Does he always have to tell that to people? So what if I have the third highest IQ on the planet, it's not like I'm ever going to use it." She hopped up and held out her hand to help Cnu up. "You are the weirdest person ever." He said and they walked back home in silence. "Hey you! Cousin girl! Are you trying to kill me?" Jinyoung yelled as the two walked in the door. Yui rolled her eyes, "Jinyoung if I really wanted to kill you I would have done it years ago and it would have been really creative." She walked over and picked up her phone. "Oh Jinyoung-kun. The old man is coming by tomorrow around noon. Will you be here or will I have to face him on my own?" The boy in question shook his head, "Nope we have interveiws tomorrow then sosme practice stuff. We'll probably be back closer to midnight." "Alright. I'll probably still be up. Um do you still keep your piano under your bed?" Jinyoug nodded at her question. "Why?" Yui smiled, "I have this tune in my head. It sounds nice and I want to get it out and recorded before it leaves." "Do you have lyrics for it?" Jinyoung asked, hoping that maybe he would get to hear the elusive voice. "No. I don't need my shitty voice to ruin the perfection that will be this. Anyways I'm going to bed, see you in the morning." She said and bowed before heading to bed.
