Hana’s POVI was walking along the corridor after visiting my friend who got into an accident. As I was walking, I remembered about Minho. Since the first day we met, we kept in touch with each other. We texted and called each other a lot even though we were just friends. He always talked about his busy schedule and sometimes about his problem.I looked around the hospital and I could see a lot of people. Suddenly, I stopped walking when I saw someone that I recognised in the therapy room.“Is that Young Hyun?”, I asked myself.I looked through the window and I still could not believe that it was Young Hyun. I saw that the nurse helped her to walk and she looked that she was in pain.“What happened to her? Why Minho didn’t tell me about this?”, I said to myself.I watched as I saw her trying so hard to go through the therapy. I felt so pity for her. When she was in high school, her parents passed away and she only had Minho and Key by her side. She also had to work at the cafe to get money to support her life.She had finished her therapy when I saw the nurse helped her to sit on the wheelchair. Then, I saw a guy went next to her and gave mineral water to her.“Who is that guy? It must be her boyfriend”, I said.I decided to go and meet her since she was my friend in high school. I walked into the therapy room and went closer to her. She stopped talking to his boyfriend when she saw me standing right in front of her. I could see her surprised to see me.“Hello Young Hyun. It’s been a long time since we met”, I said to her.“You are Hana right?”, she asked.“You’re right. Young Hyun, I’m sorry to ask this but what happened to you?”, I asked.I could see that she was a bit sad when I asked her. She looked at her boyfriend and he held her hands when she turned to me.“How about we talk at the cafe? It’s not appropriate to talk here”, she said to me.“Sure”, I said.The three of us went to the cafe and sat near the window. Her boyfriend, Jinki oppa went to buy us some drinks and gave us some time alone.“I guess Minho did not tell you about this”, she said.“Yeah”, I replied her.“Well, I got into an accident and the doctor said that I could not walk because of the injuries at my leg. I might be able to walk if I go through the therapy. So that’s why you saw me at the therapy room just now. Jinki oppa accompanied me today”, she said.“I’m really sorry to hear that. So, you lived with them right now?”, I asked.“I refused to stay with them but they insisted me to stay until I fully recovered. Actually I don’t want to bother them but they really wanted to help me going through this especially Minho and Kibum. Let’s stop talking about me. How are you? I heard that you and Minho are now friends again”, she said to me.“Yeah. I wanted to go back as couple but he said it would be better if we start as friends. I think that it was a great idea and accepted his opinion. Actually, there’s something I want to ask you, Young Hyun”, I said.She looked surprised by my words.“What is it?”, she asked me back.“How was Minho after I went abroad?”, I asked.“To be honest Hana, he was so sad when you left him. He did not attend the basketball practice. Sometimes, he didn’t want to eat. It was hard for me and Key to see him that way. We had tried everything to make him happy. I guess it took time for him to move forward in his life”, she said and drank the juice on the table.I never thought that he would be like that. I must have hurt him a lot. Even though my intention leaving Korea on that time was for good deed, but I also had hurt the person that I loved so much. It must be hard for him to meet again after what I had done to him.“Hana yah, I don’t care if you want to be friend with him but there is one thing I need to say”, Young Hyun suddenly said to me.“What is it, Young Hyun?”, I asked.“I hope that you will not hurt him for the second time. He already had hard time when you left him when in high school. I really want to see him happy and this is the only thing that I’m going to ask from you. I know both of you will be happy together so I hope that both of you will always trust each other and be together”, she said to me and smiled.I took her hand and looked at her.“Young Hyun, I’ll promise that I’ll take care of his heart. I don’t want to hurt his heart anymore. Minho is the only guy that I want to be with. Thank you both for giving me a second chance to be with him. I’ll make him happy and always be there for him”, I said and held her hand tighter.On that moment, I could see Jinki oppa was waiting to take her home.“I’m glad to hear that. I think I better go now. I hope that we can meet again, Hana. Thank you for taking care of Minho. See you later, Hana”, she said and Jinki oppa helped to push her wheelchair.I really felt that Minho was a lucky guy to have a friend just like her. She always took care of her friends even when she was in hard time. I promised myself that I will always be by their sides so that I could help them going through any hardship.
