Himchans - Part I (1/1)

They were just done with promotions in Japan and was given a week rest until their promotions in Taiwan. Yet, some songs were to be recorded and Jongup didn’t want to call it complete vacation. A part of him was dreading home.Truthfully, none of the members were in their best moods. Laughter was turning to a rare thing and Jongup himself felt that he was retrieving into a personal hole of space and maintaining fair distance with everyone.Well; everyone except Himchan was probably acting the same way.Himchan was his forever usual annoying motherly self and Jongup found himself just a little intrigued because Himchans’ happy vibe just didn’t seem to dull out. If he was faking it for the sake of the members, Jongup would be able to pin it out. But Himchan was genuinely living in elevated sprits and Jongup was a little irritated along the line of being completely fascinated.Does Himchan not tire out?Himchan walked into Jongups’ and Junhongs’ room with a box of fried chicken and asked if the two boys had eaten yet. With the answer being obviously no, he left the packet and went as far as to bring the two maknaes a bottle of coke too.

Jongup didn’t understand Himchan a lot; because he himself wasn’t the caring type – but this was far from what he’d like to see as usual.

Usual was meant to be an annoyed Kim Himchan who would scold his ass off at the two dumb maknaes who can’t even come out to have dinner and nag for an hour about how it’s disrespectful to the elders.Junhong ate and fell asleep and Jongup left with the empty bottle and boxes and crumpled tissues to throw it all out; and found Himchan making himself a salad in the kitchen and widened his eyes. How is he doing that?“Did something good happen?” Jongup couldn’t help but ask.Himchan turned from cutting his cucumber into cubes and stared neatly into Jongups eyes for a few seconds and blinked. “No, not really? What makes you ask that?”Jongup shrugged. “You seem to be in a good mood lately.” He spoke his mind.Himchan laughed and went back to chopping his vegetables. He was done with a small portion of it anyway. “Oh, that…” He said, and pushed all his vegetables off the board into a bowl. Squeezing mayonnaise and salad dressing onto it, he nodded his head. “I am.” He admitted.“How come?” Jongup asked, washing his hands.  “Everyone else is dead tired. Heck, I’m dead tired. What’s the secret?”Himchan grimaced, and forked his salad into his mouth, and locked gazes with Jongup before he could start to leave. Himchan looked as if he had an answer for that and the look on his face made Jongup wait for it.“Well, how do I put it?” Himchan thought out loud, keeping his fork on his lips, narrowing his brows and over-acting. He was good at that.“It’s something I found
