Little plans (1/2)

Chapter 8   "What the hell...?" Catherine woke up, looking around her own room, confused about what was going on.

It was Saturday, the day when Catherine would have the bubble bath with Chen, and even if she was very happy about that, she had completely forgotten about that at this point.

She got up and went straight to the mirror. Her hair looked like a bird nest, her make up was a complete mess and her ankle had a huge scratch. She then, remembered. Luhan managed to convince her to drink some. It wasn't a lot, but since it was her first time, it was understandable that her alcohol tolerance was low.

"Did something happen last night?" She panicked while looking at her clothes and bed, scared that she could've done something that she would regret.

"Luhan? No. He wouldn't do something like that. Specially since I was..." She tracked off. She didn't want to admit she had done something like that, she was truly ashamed.

She took a long warm shower before heading down, expecting a breakfast but what surprised her, was that no one was there. And there wasn't any food either.

Chanyeol was in the kitchen, drinking a can of soda when Catherine went inside. Her expression reminded him of a confused puppy, he wanted to laugh hard at her.

"Good morning, princess." He said sarcastically receiving a glaring from her in response, "Good morning." She said with a serious tone.

There was a moment of silence while she checked the clock, "2pm... You gotta be kidding me..." She whispered while placing one of her palms on her forehead.

"Had fun last night?" He suddenly asked making her jump a little.

"W-What about last night?" She asked even though she knew what he was talking about, what she couldn't understand is: how did he know about it?

"You know what. You guys were pretty loud."

She felt her heart ache a little, so he actually did it...

"I don't know what you're saying, I don't really remember last night very well, I got a pretty bad memory."

"Are you sure you don't remember because you were a little wasted?"

"Shut up, please. You've done worse."

He crushed the soda can in his hand before replying, "But I'm not you." and leaving the room.

She stayed quiet for a moment before mumbling to herself, "You mean I'm not a disappointment like yo-" she was interrupted by her cellphone.

"Ah shit... Lu? What do you want?" There was a lot of noise going on in the background.

"I was walking around and I found this bubble tea place and damn I'm addicted!"

Catherine laughed at his childish way, " Why did you call me then?"

"Well, I'm pretty lonely. Please come?" She knew that in the other side of the line he was putting in his cute expression. She needed to confirm what happened last night- she had the right to know.

"Sure, pass me the address and I'm heading there."

"There you are! Come and sit, my treat!" He yelled.

"Christ, I didn't know you were this loud."

"And I didn't know you were religious." He joked.  They took their bubble tea that, as he said, he payed for and talked about several random subjects before Catherine finally got the courage to ask.

"Um... Do you remember last night?"

His expression became serious, "Yeah, I'm sorry about that. You are pretty weak to alcohol."

"Well I'm not mad at that. I have my doubts though...what happened once we got home?"

"Nothing." He said avoiding her eyes. Yes, he lied pretty badly.

"You're terrible at lying, did you know that?"

He sighed and put his bubble tea on the table, "Ok, I'll spit it out. Well, we got home and..." His face reddened a little while it seemed harder for him to continue talking.

"... You... Kissed..." Her eyes winded, "Skip this part, I just need to know if-"

"No, we didn't fuck or anything if that's what you wanna know."

She coughed with a surprised face, "You're not real I swear."

"Chanyeol said that we were kinda loud though, what did he mean?"

He shrugged, "I have no idea, maybe because you were giggling like crazy when we got there. What a loud drinker you are."

"Shut up," She hissed. "Let's just forget about last night, ok?"

"Deal" he lifted his drink.

"Oh, I heard that they were opening a new-" she was, again, interrupted by phone and after checking the number she excused herself to answer it.

"Hey, you never called me, what's up?"

"From what I remember you had plans with me today."

Her head tilted to her right a little, trying to get what he was talking about.

"So...?" He said insistently.

A couple went past her, the woman was obviously pregnant, "We need to buy some hygiene stuff for her and- Oh! A new tub for her!"

"Can't she just shower?" The man said.

"If you want to see me ruin my back, then yes."

"A tub?" She gasped. If finally hit her.

"C'mon Cat, I even bought a swimsuit or this!"

"Oh my.. I'm so sorry I forgot about it, I'm heading home right now." She hung up and ran to her table.

"Sorry Lu, I gotta go. I have plans"

"Oh, do you want me to take you there?"
