In The Darkness (1/1)
After my brief encounter with Sehun that night he had put a dampener on my mood. I didn’t enjoy my walk after that.“Stupid Grass-Boy” I grumbled to myself and scuffed my shoes on the gravel path. I grew bored of the school campus and looked around at my surroundings. I didn’t want to go back to my room and the only thing that looked the slightest bit interesting was the woods. I headed in that direction and Sehun’s warning rang out in my head.“You might get attacked by wolves if you go too near the woods. It is a full moon after all.” I scoffed at his advice and headed into the woods. There are no wolves around these parts, besides werewolves don’t exist either, so there was nothing to worry about, I thought to myself. I walked deeper and deeper into the dark depths of the woods. I didn’t know where I was going, I just kept walking. I heard some scuffing and tried to focus my eyes to see what was there. It was so dark and all I could see were outlines, but it looked like rabbits. I smiled as I crept closer to them, but they vanished before I could reach for them.“No, come back.” I whined and crouched down to where I saw them vanish. “Come here little rabbits.” I called sweetly and heard some scuffling behind me. I stood up and turned around to walk towards the noise.“Little rabbits, I won’t hurt you.” I called again and stepped closer and closer to them. A twig snapped and I jumped. “Rabbits” I spoke but froze when I heard low growl from the bush in front of me.“Not Rabbits.” I stated and slowly backed away from there. Another growl was heard and it seemed to have been following me. “Hello, who’s there?” I shouted into the distance. I hoped it was just someone that was playing a prank. Sehun was around there, maybe it was him. “Sehun, are you there?” I shouted as I stepped backwards even more. I stepped on a twig and heard it snap loudly in the silence of the night. I quickened my steps whilst still looking ahead of me to watch out for whatever was there.I squinted when a noticed something near to where the growl was heard. It moved and I saw a pair of eyes.“Okay, jokes up, who’s there?” I shouted and stopped in my tracks. The yellow eyes connected with mine and I froze on the spot. They weren’t human eyes. My shouting had clearly aggravated it, whatever it was.Another growl snapped me from my thoughts and I turned on my heel and ran as fast as I could out of the woods. Fast steps were heard behind me and my body trembled as I ran; it had followed me out of the woods, but I didn’t want to look back.As I entered the Girls’ Dorm building I slammed the door shut and ran up the stairs to my room. I didn’t hear it follow me inside the building so I sighed in relief. I shut my door and walked over to my window; if it had follo
