Chapter 137 (1/1)
Hongjoong sits on a bench as he waits for Seonghwa to pick him up. He tapped on the bench with his fingers and cracked his neck as he closed his eyes. He felt weight on the bench and looked up automatically. He saw a familiar boy in a black jacket smiling at him. "Hey, Hongjoong." He said, casually putting an arm around the boy's shoulders. Hongjoong blushed a little. "Hey, Felix.." He said, looking into the crow’s eyes. "You know, I thought you were really pretty when you were posing for those paintings." He commented, smiling sweetly at the boy. Hongjoong looked down, his cheeks burning from smiling. "Thank you.." He said, feeling the other pull him closer. They looked at each other for a short moment. Felix leaned forward and put their lips together. Hongjoong smiled at the familiar sensation, loving the boy's hands on him. He tilted his head and deepened the kiss, getting closer to the boy. Everything else escaped Hongjoong in that moment. "I want you to be mine, Hongjoong." Felix said in a captivating tone. Hongjoong was brainwashed, watching those dark eyes. "I'd like to fly with you.." He muttered, letting his body become Felix's to control. No one passing by did a thing as Felix put his hand n Hongjoong's chest and down to his pants. Hongjoong moaned as their tongues grew wild together. Their breathing remained even despite having their mouths fighting for dominance. Hongjoong was losing, and to him, losing this battle was the best game over for him. He was about to lay back on the bench, however a car horn got their attention. The boys quickly detached from each other to see Seonghwa coming out of that neon green car. Felix widened his eyes as he saw the mad stork stomp up to them. "You get your buzzard claws off of my brother." He pushed Felix to the pavement. Hongjoong looked worriedly at them. "Hyung, I wanted it-" "No, you don't." Seonghwa took Hongjoong by the wrist. "You better stay the hell away from my brother. Do you understand?!" He put Hongjoong behind him with narrowed eyes. Felix was scared, that would be an understatement. "Y-yeah.. I-I.." He stood up. "If I find out you touch him again, I'll cut your head off." Seonghwa said with a raised fist. Hongjoong furrowed his eyebrows. "I'm sorry, Felix." He tore out of the older's grasp. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" He said, his wrist being grabbed once more. Felix watched Seonghwa sit the boy in the car, locking it before going over to the other side. He drove off without a second thought. "You stay away from him, crows are no good." He said, tightening his hold on the steering wheel. Hongjoong sighed. "Felix is so sweet, we've been friends since P3. Can't I date him and be happy like you're happy with Seungkwan?" He asked with an upset tone. "Seungkwan isn't a hormonal crow." Seonghwa argued. "No, but it sure seems like storks are allowed to think they can call other storks theirs." He said, looking at the older. "Cough, cough, you and Seungkwan." Hongjoong continued. Seonghwa slammed on the breaks as he pulled off to the side. "Hongjoong-ah!" He looked at him with angry eyes. "This isn't about me. This is about you and that ugly vulture." "Why can't I be happy with a mate too?" Hongjoong asked, holding his chest. "I love Felix." He defended himself. "Love? How could you say you love him?" Seonghwa asked in disbelief. "All he wants is to fuck you." Hongjoong furrowed his eyebrows. "Hyung.." He said in a small voice. Seonghwa had a shocked look. "I.. I'm sorry, Hongjoong.." He sighed. "No, you can date him.. As long as he doesn't hurt you.." He muttered. Hongjoong looked down and put his hands together. "He hasn't forced anything.. If he really wanted sex, he would just trick those doves.." He muttered. Seonghwa put his forehead on the steering wheel. "Of course, I.. I'm sorry.." He sighed. "What's becoming of us, Hyung?" He asked, a tear starting. Seonghwa looked around before looking into Hongjoong's eyes. "I don't know.. Are you okay? Did I hurt you at all?" He looked around the younger. "My arm hurts a little.." The boy muttered.
*** Jeonghan put the controller down after his fifth battle in Pokémon. He yawned and felt the boy next to him shift a little. "Playing video games today felt nicer since you guys were here." He said as he noticed the kids look back at him from exiting out of the game. "It was interesting," Wonwoo smiled, "I'm surprised how quickly you learned some of the newer games." He commented. "True, I never played hours in the gaming room," Jeonghan stood up to crack his back, "you'll be making dinner soon, right?" He said, looking at Mingyu. Mingyu nodded as he looked at the clock. "You spent the whole day telling stories while beating Jae's butt in all the games he brought over. Congrats." He clapped with a smirk. "I'm sure he just let me win." Jeonghan said, eyeing the boy. "Nah, I just suck at playing video games." Jaemin shrugged. "But I like playing anyway." He smiled. Jeonghan put his hand in Woozi's hair. "Well thank you all for playing with me." He said, smirking as the boy stayed silent but was getting annoyed. "I need to wake Cheol up in an hour, so I'll just go cuddle with him until then." He smiled. Joshua smiled sweetly. "We'll wake you up when it's dinner time." He said, knowing that Jeonghan would most likely fall asleep. "Thanks." Jeonghan said with one giggle. "Hoshi, you're in charge." He called upon the hamster. Jeonghan walked upstairs and into his and Seungcheol's bedroom. There he saw the older male hugging a pillow. He gently stole the pillow from Seungcheol's grasp, slightly waking up the male. Their eyes met and Jeonghan couldn't fight the smile that formed on his lips. Seungcheol smiled back and opened his arms. Jeonghan placed himself perfectly in those arms. It's like they fit like puzzle pieces. He glued himself tightly against the older. "Happy birthday." Seungcheol muttered. Jeonghan tried to push himself deeper into Seungcheol's hold. "I get to spend another birthday with you and those lovely kids.." He muttered. Seungcheol smiled. "Have you had a good day so far?" He asked. "It's been wonderful." Jeonghan said honestly. "Our family is much bigger than last year. I must say, never did I think I would be a grandpa last year." He chuckled. Seungcheol laughed along, gently running his fingers through the boy's hair. "What do you think will happen by next year?" He asked. "The rest of them will be married and at least one of them will have a kid." Jeonghan gave his estimated guess. "Minghao said that they've been trying for a baby since their honeymoon." He stated, purring as his head was getting royal treatment from Seungcheol. Seungcheol closed his eyes and took in the smell of caramel and coffee on the younger. "I still remember that day, when you were running." Seungcheol started. "How even though your face was all beat up and you were struggling, you still had a big smile while running." Jeonghan had happy tears starting up. "And thankfully I changed running coaches." Jeonghan chuckled. "I'm much happier with you training me." He got out of their little hold and kissed Seungcheol's lips. Warmth tingled between them like stars twinkling in the night sky. Their kissing was soft and innocent. Tongues were only there to accompany each other as if they were holding hands while watching the stars. "You've made me so happy, Seungcheol." Jeonghan said after the kiss was finished. "That's the best birthday gift I could ask for." He said, hugging the male once more. Seungcheol hugged back. "I honestly couldn't think of anything to get you." He chuckled. "But the kids came to me a few days ago asking what they should do for your birthday." He mentioned. Jeonghan laughed. "So you guys were scheming too?" He asked. Seungcheol hummed. "Renjun came up with the video games." He said, closing his eyes as they snuggle together. "Let's take a little nap.." Jeonghan said, closing his eyes and letting his body fall limp into Seungcheol's body.
Downstairs, Woozi looks at Hyunjae. He smiles when the child is sleeping cutely in the basket. His arms were around a little sunflower plush. Yeosang was behind the shorter, hugging his waist while watching the baby sleep. "He's adorable.." Yeosang muttered, putting his chin on Woozi's head. "That he is.." Woozi couldn't deny it. The little baby sleeping while lightly palming the sunflower every now and then was a sight to just melt looking at. Jaemin was guilty of that too. He was watching Hyunjae too and he couldn't get over how much he wanted to have a child like that. He wanted the feeling of being a father. He nonchalantly looked at Joshua, not that he was paying attention. "Dokyeom," Yeosang started, still having his hands firmly on Woozi's hips, "you want to start on a new story tonight?" He asked. Seokmin shrugged. "You better have found a good one." He teased. "I picked it out." Woozi said. "Yeosang and I will read it this time since you and he did it last time." He said, looking at Seokmin rather than the child. Yeosang's eyes shifted back to the stork baby. "Okay, I can't wait to hear it." Seokmin said with a big smile.
Seungkwan tapped on his thighs and looked at Vernon. He hasn't really had the time to catch up with Vernon since the male was busy replacing tiles and such at work ever since Seungkwan arrived. "How did your week go?" Seungkwan asked, letting Vernon hold his hand. Vernon smiled. "The work went well. I met a stork girl last week and I finished putting new tiles down in her bathroom yesterday." He explained. Seungkwan smiled proudly. "How were things at home?" He asked. Vernon shrugged. "I missed you.." He muttered. "But now that you're back, I can't wait for all the tea you have." He said with a big smile. Seungkwan kept that proud smile. "Well then, listen up." He relaxed on the couch. "You know Hyolyn," Seungkwan waved his hand, "she was being a total B to Chenle for being a stork kid." He explained. Wonwoo raised his eyebrows. "OooOo~ Drama." He inserted. "After the performance, Chenle went missing, but thankfully Jongho found him in their hotel room." Seungkwan held his heart. "I'm glad he didn't get hurt." He said in a relieved tone. Vernon held his chin. "I wonder what happened.." "Well Johnny and Hyolyn had been rude to him the entire trip." Seungkwan started. "He was more than likely upset and just wanted to stay in his room rather than be targeted." He gave his opinion. Vernon pursed his lips and looked down. "But he seemed happy the next morning. I suppose that Jongho comforted him." Seungkwan smiled a little. Vernon nodded and looked at Seungkwan's nails. "So what did you and Seonghwa do?" He asked, not looking into Seungkwan's eyes. "We had some dates. We did like Joshua suggested and just walked along." Seungkwan had a sweet smile. "It was very relaxing, I must say." The younger smiled. "That's good..You already know what all has been happening here." He said, nonchalantly looking at Renjun and Dino who are looking at all of the games that Jaemin brought over. When Jaemin gained Taeyong's Switch, Taeyang also gave him all the games that his son bought along with the extra two controllers. Seungkwan hummed and looked back at Vernon. "Seems like he's enjoying his stay here, so there's that." He said. Vernon nodded and scratched his neck. "Dino's not the youngest anymore." He chuckled. "Well Josh isn't the oldest." Seungkwan gave some attitude teasingly.
Some time passed by and the parents were down for dinner and the table was filled with smiles and laughing. Jeonghan tipped his glass of juice back before eating the celebratory chicken and beef. "How are things at school, Wonwoo?" Jeonghan asked. Wonwoo swallowed the chicken and smiled. "My classes are doing well. So far, the reviews the students have given me are pretty positive." He stated. "Have you gotten any negative reviews?" Seungcheol asked. Wonwoo chuckled and wiped some sauce off of his cheek. "I've gotten a couple students who want less dark literature." He brought up. "So I've asked Renjun to help me pick out some positive books from the library." "I was never in a college library before." Renjun said with big eyes. Jeonghan smiled at the boy. "Seems like you gained a new experience." He said. "I've been gaining new experiences with Woozi too." Yeosang said, smiling at the others around him. Jaemin narrowed his eyes at the male. "..seriously? At the table?" He asked blankly. Yeosang looked at Jaemin with raised eyebrows. "I've never changed a diaper or fed a baby boy before." He said honestly. "And I never had someone working alongside me at my mom's shop." He continued, taking a bite of chicken. When Jaemin just gave him a blank look, Yeosang chuckled. "Get your mind out of the gutter!" He said, pointing his chopsticks the boy's way. "We all know you were meaning other things." Jaemin said with an angry look. "Mh.." Yeosang thought for a moment. "Actually, no. We still love the same as we've been doing. No new experiences there." He waved his hand. Jaemin folded his arms. "We didn't need to hear that.." He muttered.
Jeonghan smiled and looked between them. "Ah yes, perfect atmosphere for the table.." He sighed. "Two boys arguing.." "Yeosang started it." Jaemin said first. "I had an innocent mind." Yeosang defended himself. "Jae started it." He pointed. Renjun pursed his lips and shook his head. "If adults act like this.." He muttered. "Yeosang's the kid." Jaemin said. "Nuh uh!" Yeosang put his bowl down. "You're just annoying." Jaemin smirked devilishly. "Looks like you're defining yourself." He came back.
"So.." Seungkwan caught everyone's attention. "Seonghwa asked if he and Hongjoong could come over one weekend and cook for us." He said. Breaking ice was still hard for Seungkwan, but holding Vernon's hand under the table helped. Mingyu raised an eyebrow. "He wants to cook in my kitchen?" "I mean, if you guys are opposed to it, I could ask him to just bring something for the Christmas or New Years party instead." Seungkwan said in a shaky voice. Seungcheol shrugged. "I've never really spoken to Seonghwa much. He should come over." He smiled. Jeonghan smiled and nodded. "I agree, I'm interested in what he will cook for us." He said. "His peppered steak was really good at Minghao's wedding." He commented. Jeonghan then listens to the conversations as he eats, and Seungcheol stays silent too as he keeps a hold on Jeonghan's hand under the table. After everyone was finished eating, the boys stayed at the table. Which is highly irregular since they usually want to get away the moment they're finished their food. "Now that everyone is finished and their dishes are put away.." Mingyu started. "Time for some dessert!" Dino said, walking up to the refrigerator. Jeonghan watched as a strawberry creme cake was taken out. Dino set it on the table and took off the cover. Mingyu took the candle lighter and made that cake lit. "Wow.." Jeonghan said with his hands together. "Make a wish, Mr. Yoon!" Renjun said excitedly. Jeonghan smiled and closed his eyes. I wish that in this next year, everyone will be happy and healthy. He wished before he blew out the candles. The table sings the song while Jeonghan cut the cake. Taking a bite had Jeonghan all smiles. "It tastes so good, thank you, Children." He kissed the boy's cheek. Dino blushed at the kiss. "You guys better not go too far, I didn't live twenty-five years to not have a birthday kiss from everyone at the table." He teased with the knife in his hand. They ate the cake and gave their birthday kisses accordingly.
