Chapter 109 (1/1)
Thursday - the school is almost going back to normal. Minghao finally felt like he could go back, especially since hearing that Shownu wasn't on campus. He held his bag straps as he exited the van. Just in case, he asked Mingyu to drive them until Monday. Minghao needed to make sure his emotions were balanced before going on the road and possibly harming the others. He looked at his stork badge in his jacket, just in case he'll need it for some reason. No one must know I'm a stork kid.. He heard his younger self whisper to him. Joshua had told him that no one would accept them; that no one would be nice to them if they found out they were stork kids. Jae, Nana, and Renjun are just special cases, right? That and Jisoo too.. He nodded. They already had romantic feelings before figuring out about them being mythical birds. He entered the art building and saw his classmate cleaning up the classroom. It looked like some toddlers dropped pencils everywhere. "Hey.." He greeted. She looked up and her hair was so curly today. "Hey," She stood up and walked up to him, "are you doing okay?" She asked in a concerned tone. "I'm fine.." He looked down. "I'm sorry if I sounded rude the other day." He apologized. She shook her head. "I didn't find you rude.." She commented. Minghao held her hand. "I hate it so much that my siblings talk about their love and such around me," He started, "they tell me it's because I never experienced it or that I'm just a grouch.. "But those days, even though you weren't there, it felt like you were supporting me the whole time." Minghao slightly smiled. "I'd like to thank you." He said, leaning closer and kissing her cheek. She looked up at him with big eyes. "I.." She sighed. "It's hard for me to get along with regular kids, I'm sorry if I've been annoying you, and that's why it felt like I was there.." Minghao furrowed his eyebrows. "Regular kids? What, are you an alien?" He chuckled. She waved her hands. "N-no, our teacher would probably die if I were an alien." She said. "I'm a stork kid." She then held her chest with the one hand that wasn't in Minghao's grasp. "Get out," Minghao looked at her in amazement, "I'm a stork kid too." He said. "Seriously?" She had wide eyes.
Minghao then dug into his jacket, taking out his stork badge. "See? I went to Mystic Academy." He showed off. She held the badge, thumbing the feathers there. "Wow.." She handed it back. "We're the same age, what class were you in?" She asked. "I was in class three." Minghao put the badge away. "You?" He asked. "Hehe, class one." She put her finger up. "No wonder it was easier to get along with you." She smiled.
Minghao's smile got brighter before he put his arms around her. He felt the warmth come between them, something he's never experienced before. His fingers found their way in her hair and her hands held his back gently. "I like this feeling.." Minghao said softly, breathing in the charcoal from the pencils on the table next to them. "I do too.." She replied. "Maybe we could.. see about dating..?" She asked, pulling away from the hug and looking up at him. Perhaps this was the biggest decision in his life. And somehow, he found himself nodding. "I think so.." He cupped her cheek. "Let's not move too fast though." She laughed a little. "You know stork kids don't waste time." She commented. "No, they have their own pace." Minghao said. "So let's not force anything, okay?" He smiled at her. "Right.. I hear the other students coming." She mentioned. He slowly backed away from her and looked down at his desk. You guys win, this feeling is beautiful..
*** When Friday comes, Yeosang and Mingi are looking at each other in the dojo. Their uniforms are worn properly and their stances are strong. "You think you'll win?" Yeosang asked. Mingi smirked. "Whoever wins, I'm still going to pick San up after this." He said. "Today's his birthday and I want to make it really special to him, even though I have pretty much no money." He continued. Yeosang gave a proud smile. "Good boy, San will be happy for you just knowing it's his birthday." He said. Jun then signaled to Yeji that it was time. She cleared her throat inaudibly before giving a shout of, "Fight!" Once her word was spoken, the boys were at it. Yeosang saw that the boy went the same approach of disabling him. So he did something he usually doesn't do, he attacked. Usually Yeosang defends until he gets an opening. He held Mingi's foot that was trying to kick his ankle, making Mingi lose his balance.
As the boy was falling, Yeosang kicked Mingi in the back. Mingi stayed on the floor for five seconds. "Shit.." Mingi whined. "Since when do you attack?" He asked. "Since wanting to start working with my mom." He helped Mingi up. "Sorry if you're in pain for the rest of the weekend though." He clenched his teeth. Mingi waved his hand. "It's fine," He held his back, "I'll just.. ouch.." He hissed at the pain. Jun came by. "Congrats," He patted their shoulders, "Yeosang gets to graduate and Mingi gets employed." He smiled. "Will there be a ceremony?" Mingi asked. "No.. It's not technically a degree, so the school doesn't fund us having a belt ceremony." Jun folded his arms. "But I'll treat you two to pizza Sunday, if you're interested." He raised an eyebrow while smirking. The boys look at each other and shrug. "Sure." They said at the same time. Jun nodded. "It's settled then. Let's go, Yeosang." He instructed. Yeosang followed the Chinese male to the van. Meanwhile, Mingi walks up to the security station of the campus. He sees San in in his uniform, leaning back against the wall and sipping a cup of water. He breathed in and out before making his presence known. The other officers kept an eye on him as Mingi approached the dove. "Hey, are you done with work?" He asked. "I am, what's up?" San asked. "I wanted to take you out for the evening as a birthday gift." Mingi smiled. San blushed and stood up properly. "How did you know it was my birthday?" He asked. "I might have seen it on your lanyard the other day.." Mingi scratched his arm. "Nonetheless, I'm glad I didn't miss it." He said, reaching to hold San's free hand.
San saw a few officers stiffen and prepare to take out their tasers. "It's fine, he's my boyfriend." He said, putting the cup down before putting his hand up to signal the others to relax. "I would love to spend my evening with you. I'm really interested in what you have planned." He said with a playful smile. Mingi slowly walked San out of the building. "Well you know I'm not rich, so I can't give you a city." He chuckled. "But I'd like to walk." He said. San smiled and let the man walk him. "How did the tournament go today?" He asked. "I lost.." Mingi looked down. "But at least I got another job, right?" He looked at the boy. San nodded and looked ahead. "I wonder if I could beat you in a fight." He wondered, looking at the unfamiliar path that they're taking. "I'd never hit you, so you'd have me in cuffs before I could even refuse a fight." Mingi chuckled. San laughed and linked their arms instead. "Where are we going?" He asked, seeing that they entered a non-familiar area. The place seemed a bit darker than San's liking. There were people on the street, leaning back against buildings. It looked a little shifty. For once, San doesn't feel guilty for forgetting to leave his pistol at work. "Where are we?" He asked, a little fear accidentally filling his voice. "Oh, don't worry, this is my neighborhood." Mingi waved his hand. "They're friends." He smiled. San watched Mingi wave to a woman. "Mrs. Gong, how are your kittens doing?" He asked the woman across the street. "Mr. Peppers isn't sick anymore, he's back to his playful self." The old woman said, waving back. Mingi took a key out of his pocket. "Mom said I could bring you over and that she would stay out of the way," He said, unlocking the door, "don't worry about dad, he'll be home sometime during the night." He opened the door for San. San stepped into the small house. He took his boots off and set them beside the woman's pair of shoes. Walking further in, he sees small decorations saying happy birthday. He then followed Mingi into the kitchen. He saw that the small table there had two plates on either side with a cheap candle between them. Mingi lit a match and put the flame on the small candle. San sat down and watched Mingi bring water to a boil before putting a square of ramen inside. The smell of the seasonings made the dove smile along with the man's smile he would casually give San. The food was finished and put on their plates followed by some tea. "It's not much, but I've been saving up for something special." Mingi smiled. "What do you normally spend your salary on?" San asked, picking up the chopsticks on his napkin. "I'm not normally paid in money, I get free meals at school." Mingi replied. "So I skipped a few lunches." He shrugged. San pursed his lips and watched Mingi take a bite. "You shouldn't have skipped meals.." He said. "It was only a couple days, don't worry about it." Mingi smiled. "Love has its sacrifices, and I wanted you to have a good day." Mingi smiled, reaching across the table to hold the boy's hand. San smiled sadly and picked some noodles up. "Don't be so foolish next time, okay?" He said before eating the clump. Mingi nodded, smiling when the boy hummed at the flavor. The meal was finished soon with San telling stories about what happened at school today and the officers playing around while they were on duty. Mingi walked the boy to his bedroom and took San's jacket off. "I've prepared a bath for you." He said, walking San into the bathroom. San saw some of the same candles placed around the bathroom. Mingi switched the water on and dropped some soap inside, making the water covered in colorful bubbles. "It's ready, I won't watch." Mingi covered his eyes with his hands. The dove blushed and saw that the man wasn't peeping. He then saw the change of clothes on the counter. He took his clothes off before settling in the tub. He gave a relaxed sigh as he felt the warm water on his skin. "It's okay, you can look." He looked up at the other. Mingi took his hands away before taking his matchbook out. He lit the candles before turning off the lights. San was speechless as he looked at the water. The words I love you were glowing. "Mingi.." San felt his heart beating, the beautiful sparkles filled his body. Mingi sat down on the ledge of the tub and held San's hand. He kissed it lightly. "I don't throw those words around often, San." He whispered. "Only to my mom before bed.." He looked at the message that was slowly getting ruined by the water going back and forth. "You're really making me happy right now.." San wiped a tear as the warm water hugged him. "It's just my birthday.." He muttered. Mingi hummed. "And because it is, I get to spend time with someone as special as you." He said. San looked at the man in the darkness. "Can you come in here with me?" He asked, seeing the silhouette of the man. "Are you sure?" Mingi asked, thumbing the boy's knuckles. San nodded, humming along. Mingi stood up from his spot and took off his shirt. He neatly folded it and put it on the counter with his pants following. He left his boxers on and settled in the tub with the boy, holding the smaller in his arms. "Do you feel it, Mingi?" San asked in a dreamy voice. "Do you feel that beautiful sensation?" He pushed himself against the other male. "It kinda feels like I could die happily like this.." Mingi explained his feeling. San smiled. "That's the feeling," He cupped the man's cheek, "I want us to be together forever." He whispered before having them kiss. Mingi felt his body melt in the kiss, that he could be controlled by the younger. "Rinse off and I'll meet you in your room." San instructed. "I'd like you to fly with me tonight." He stroked the male's hair. Mingi obeyed, standing up and helping the other up. He unplugged the drain and drew the curtain before turning the water on. They rinse off in the darkness, Mingi got out first and dried off. He turned the light on before exiting the bathroom. San wasn't too far away, wearing the bigger set of clothes that were left on the counter. He left his uniform in the bathroom and saw the man sitting on the edge of the bed. He joined him and smiled, putting his hands in his lap and his knees together. He tapped the floor silently with his feet. "I don't want to force you into anything," Mingi said, "if you just want to cuddle tonight-" "No," San put his hand up, cupping the man's cheek, "I'd like to start on a family with you tonight. That's my birthday wish." He said with a smile. Mingi knew he could fulfill the older's desire. "Are you sure? With me?" Mingi asked. He knew there was no turning back for the dove. "With you." San pulled the other in for a kiss. Mingi held the other's body gently as he kissed San. He helped the other lay down on the bed, putting San's head on the pillow. The kiss stayed soft as Mingi's hands went up and down the boy's body slowly, making San's heart beat faster. He's always had the desire to make love, but the new sensation was overwhelming. He always pressed his body against one of the crows, Yeosang even. But this was different. It wasn't out of pure lust and desire to correct his parents' mistake. He actually felt worth something. He felt loved and he felt attention was solely on him. "I'll make you believe in storks, Mingi." San whispered, pushing back the man's blue hair. "You could make me believe in anything at this point." MIngi said, looking into the boy's eyes, kissing San gently.
San smiled and pulled the man closer to him. Their tongues find their way to tease each other as Mingi's hands go down San's sides. He puts his hands inside the boy's shirt, feeling around his toned muscles and pinching those cute nipples. The giggle from San just made Mingi blush a deeper shade of red. His hand goes down to trace small circles with his thumbs on San's stomach, slowly pulling down the boy's pants in the process. He was hoping that they could complete their bond sooner or later, but he was prepared to cuddle all night. He was prepared to listen to San say that he wanted to get to know him more or that he wasn't ready. And he would accept any excuse the boy had, even if it was that San never really liked him. He's a fool in love, something he's never experienced. Not even with her. On the other side, San has been cautious. He knows that some just want pleasure, and even crows were playing around and asking him for one-night-stands. But he'd always refuse them. Mingi just wants to have someone.. He found out. He was proud to be that person. "Are you sure?" Mingi pulled back, hovering over San to see the boy's swollen lips. "Please?" San raised his eyebrows. "Y-you'll stay with me, even when the child comes to us, right?" He asked. Mingi smiled. "I want to be here for all of them, how many ever we have." He kissed San's hand. He then reached under the bed, picking up a tube of lotion. San saw that it was a cheap brand of lubricant. He spread his legs apart for the other, watching Mingi take down his own pants. He marveled at the toned abs Mingi has, and his eyes followed down until he saw the man's leaking member looking at him. San pursed his lips as his chin was directed up gently. Mingi put their lips together as he softly prepared the boy. It was painful when the man's full potential went into him. It hurts with the small, long beats that the other gave to him. But he couldn't tell Mingi. He wouldn't ruin this moment for the sake of his nerves. And he's glad he didn't say anything, because it didn't take long for the pain to go numb and the pleasure to start rolling in. He put his arms around Mingi's neck, bringing him closer and meeting the man at every beat. "Mingi.." He moaned. "Be as loud as you want, my parents won't pay attention." Mingi said, encouraging the other to be comfortable. San wasn't afraid to give the man his deserved voice; however, the sex wasn't all pleasure to him. He felt love and little whimpers are what his body wanted to make instead of loud screams and shouts. It felt magical when the other finished their act, kissing him gently. He pushed his face into Mingi's chest, holding his stomach while Mingi was thumbing his shoulder. "I love you, Mingi." He said naturally. San's never said it. He's always been apprehensive. But he's sure now. "I'll love you forever." He promised, kissing Mingi's chest. "I love you too, San." Mingi spoke in a calm voice. "I feel like I have a purpose now. I'll do my best." He said. San smiled as the room turned dark. He then drifted off to sleep land..
