Chapter Seventy-four (1/2)

Jeonghan looked at the bigger man with bugged-out eyes.  Seungcheol has been at the steel door for a couple hours now.  "I'm hungry.."  Jeonghan muttered.  "I could eat you.."  He looked at Seungcheol with hungry eyes. Seungcheol looked back at him with concerned eyes.  "It's only an hour away until it's the seventh day.  We failed.."  He sat down beside Jeonghan. "I think I'd eat your thigh first.."  Jeonghan watched the male.  "I could set this recorder on fire and roast you.  You have a lot of meat on you."  He muttered. Seungcheol swallowed harshly. "I can't tell if you're joking.."  He said seriously. Jeonghan just studied the older's thighs like a predator.  Seungcheol sighed before hearing a knock on the door. "Seungcheol?  Jeonghan? Are you in here?"  They heard Sungjae on the other side. "Yes!  We're here!"  Seungcheol banged on the door and shouted. After a few minutes, the door was opened by Sungjae punching out the bolts.  "I hadn't heard from you guys in awhile,"   Sungjae let them go on his maintenance tram, "I tried texting, but I guess you guys weren't anywhere near a station." Jeonghan was quiet.  His hand was tight around the recorder, holding it close to his chest as he felt the tram getting faster.  Sungjae took out his phone when he felt a vibration. "Sunghyun is having a public announcement in Seoul in less than forty minutes.  It might have some info regarding the lost kids."  Sungjae said, handing his phone to Seungcheol. Seungcheol looked at the comments on the live feed.  Sighing as he waited for the timer to count down.

Meanwhile, Minghao got a notification that Jeonghan and Seungcheol have been found and need help getting back home.  Neither male was in the right condition to drive, especially Jeonghan.  "Alright, I'm going to Sungjae's house."  He said, taking the van keys from the counter.  "Anyone with me?"  He asked. "I'll go."  Seokmin raised his hand. Woozi looked at him with angry eyes.  "I'll go too."  He said, folding his arms. Seokmin looked down at him with a raised eyebrow.  "You don't like Sungjae.."  He said. "I don't, but if you're going to see him, I'm going there too."  Woozi said, grabbing Seokmin by the wrist and guiding him out the door. Minghao rolled his eyes, wondering why he even asked.  He waved to Wonwoo and left the house too.  As they were driving, a notification came in from the live feed in Seoul.  "Pull the video up."  Minghao said to Seokmin. The boy obeyed and turned the volume higher. "Hello, I am Choi Sunghyun.  I am the administrator of Mystic Academy.  For the past few months, a student has been missing, followed by a girl a couple weeks ago, and a boy now.  Haechan has been found with a concussion and is in the hospital recovering.  As for Dahyun, she is at home recovering from being sick.  "The students have been found and they are all doing well.  Every day that they were missing, it was catastrophic.  Everyone was on edge and wanted to know information on the students.  My team and I have worked hard with the community to find these precious students.  Please do consider me as a candidate for Yong-gi University's administrator. "Thank you."

Seungcheol put the phone down as they entered the boy's house.  "He didn't say anything about Dino.."  Jeonghan muttered as they collapsed on the floor. Sungjae pursed his lips as he started on cooking some food for them.  "He said they were all alive and well, maybe that included Dino.."  He mentioned. Then there was a knock at the door.  Sungjae walked to the front door and smiled at the bright face he was greeted with.  "There's my precious dove, I didn't think you would ever be here."  He let go of the door to hold Seokmin's hand. Woozi cleared his throat audibly.  "Oh, hi, Woozi."  He waved a bit before walking Seokmin further into the house.  "I have something to show you."  "Oh?  What is it?"  Woozi asked, folding his arms. "You wouldn't be interested, Woozi."  Sungjae said seriously. Jeonghan looked at Seungcheol.  The male just shrugged.  "I'm trying to take speech lessons unofficially, so I should start by talking and having fun with you, right?"  Woozi asked.

Sungjae put his hands behind his back.  "I took speech class officially, and if you did, you would know that I'm saying I don't want you to follow us."  He said, looking down at Woozi. Woozi clenched his fists as Sungjae walked Seokmin upstairs.  "Woozi, don't let this boy's house burn down, go watch the food."  Jeonghan pointed.  "I'm starving and I'm not afraid to eat this man."  He then pointed to Seungcheol. Woozi obeyed.  Minghao sighed and leaned against the wall to look down at the parents.  "Mingyu got word that Dino is in the hospital nearby.  So after you're done recharging, I'll drive you guys over there to visit."  He said.  Seungcheol nodded and looked down.

Meanwhile, Sungjae walks Seokmin to the roof.  He opened the door.  "Tada~"  He twirled around.  Seokmin looked around and saw the land in the distance.  Mountains were visible on one side while there was a lake on the other side.  And looking above, Seokmin saw some stars coming out.  "It's beautiful.."  He commented. Sungjae smiled and slowly leaned closer to the dove.  While Seokmin was marveling in the beauty around Sungjae's house, the crow put his arm around Seokmin's waist.  They slowly make eye contact, and Seokmin's all blushes. "Fly with me, Dokyeom."  Sungjae whispered. Seokmin leaned closer, feeling warmth come between them.  He let the older cup his cheek and he closed his eyes.  Sungjae studied the boy's features: everything is just glowing brighter on the boy.  Seokmin's smile was the best thing, and it made Sungjae's heart beat faster. And finally, after so long, their lips come together.  It was a small kiss, but both would agree they wished it lasted longer.  They slowly pull away and Sungjae can't help but explode when he sees Seokmin's face turn brighter.  His smile was big and it was just for him.  The smile was only for him.  He loved that it was for him. "I've waited so long for this moment."  Seokmin confessed. "Me too.."  Sungjae replied, kissing him once again. He held Seokmin protectively as they shared their intimate kiss.  Their tongues moved together slowly while a breeze came by.  Seokmin lightly moaned, making Sungjae come back to his right mind.  He slowly pulled away and smiled.  "We should go down now, Woozi's going to kill me if I keep you any longer."  Sungjae chuckled. "I don't care, keep me forever."  Seokmin held onto Sungjae. Sungjae wanted to agree, but he knew his limits.  He held Seokmin's hand and guided him down the steps.  Upon entering the room the others are in, he lets go of Seokmin's hand. "Next time, I'll show you what's in the basement."  Sungjae said, taking his phone out.  "Now, if I may, can I have your number?"  He asked with a smile. Seokmin blushed and took his phone out.  "And this time, I'm keeping his number, Woozi."  He said. Woozi looked at the parents who were eating like they hadn't eaten in a century.  Jeonghan looked up at the two with big eyes and watched them exchange numbers. "Don't hurt my boy!"  He pointed with his spoon. Sungjae bowed.  "I wouldn't dream of hurting such a beautiful dove as Dokyeommie~"  He said, holding Seokmin's cheek.  Woozi rolled his eyes and looked at Minghao who looked happy for Seokmin.  He shook his head and waited for the parents to be finished eating.

Once they were in the van, Woozi groaned.  "I don't know what you see in that guy.  He's ugly, stupid, and trashy."  Woozi said, folding his arms. "And Yeosang is horny, creepy, and weird."  Seokmin spat back angrily. Jeonghan looked back at them and had an angry stare.  "Would you like to walk the way home, Woozi?"  He asked. "What?  No."  Woozi narrowed his eyes. "Then stop your fucking complaining for five minutes."  He said.  "You two are dating people that the other hates.  Big deal, oh well, get on with life."  Jeonghan sighed as he held his forehead. Seungcheol had a concerned glare and turned to the two with shocked expressions.  Being that Jeonghan can't see his face, Seungcheol made a face to the boys that they read as don't take it personally.  When they arrive at the hospital, Minghao and Woozi stay in the car while the other three go to the visiting room. Jeonghan looked at Dino who recently woke up and is eating a dinner the hospital is serving.  "Dino!"  Jeonghan ran up to him and put his arms around him.  "Dino, are you okay?!"  He looked at the boy. Dino smiled and let Jeonghan kiss him all over.  "I'm fine, Jeong-daddy."  He chuckled.  "What happened?  Who kidnapped you?"  Jeonghan asked, looking the boy up and down. Dino furrowed his eyebrows.  "I was kidnapped?  I don't remember anything.."  He pouted. "You have to remember something!"  Jeonghan held his shoulders.  "Who hurt you?!  Who took you away from me?!"  He asked with tears in his eyes. Seungcheol put a hand on Jeonghan's shoulder.  "He doesn't need this, Jeonghan."  He said.  "Has the Doctor spoken to you, Dino?"  He asked.

Dino watched Jeonghan hide his face in the older male's neck.  "He said I have memory loss, but that's it.  I'm healthy other than that."  He answered.  "All I can remember is head count.  Whenever I try to remember more, it really hurts."  He said with raised eyebrows.

Seokmin patted his shoulder.  "That's alright, take your time.  And if you don't remember anything, the good part is that you forget anything bad that might have happened."  Be smiled.

Dino smiled back and nodded.  "Thanks, Hyung."

"We met Sungjae," Seokmin said, getting a surprised look from Dino, "we kissed."  He sat down next to the younger.

Dino lightly punched Seokmin's shoulder.  "It's about time!  Congrats!"  He giggled and brought Seokmin down on the bed.

Jeonghan looked at the kids tickling each other on the hospital bed.  They stopped once the bed started making beeping noises.  "Hyung?"  Dino stopped to look at Seokmin.

Seungcheol looked at the light.  "You're exceeding the weight limit."  He chuckled.

Seokmin pouted and stood up.  "Rest well, Dino.  You'll be back home soon."  He assured.

Dino nodded and smiled at the parents.  "Jeong-daddy, we missed Krispy Kreme Sunday, can we go out sometime?"  He asked.

Jeonghan nodded.  "I'll go get a shower at home and I'll come back with some donuts.  Sit tight."  He kissed Dino's forehead and walked out of the room with the other two. And just like that, the parents get showered and Jeonghan goes back out to see Dino again. This time he brought chicken and donuts.  He ignored the nurses that told him that Dino ate from the food cart only a couple hours ago.

He rolled the table in front of Dino's bed and brought a chair to the table too.  He opened the bags and put the boxes on either side of the table.  Dino then came out of the bathroom.

"Oh that smells so good.."  Dino sat down and looked at the crispy chicken.
